Loving mother of Margaret, Jack, Dianne, Cater, Larry, Gayle, Lillian, Shirley, Tom and the late Douglas, Barbara, Ruth and Robert. Predeceased by her brother Ormand. Relatives and friends will be received at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Rossland Rd. E. (at Ritson Rd. N.) Oshawa, on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Private Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Calvary Baptist Church.

IVES, William 'Bill'
(Retired 18 year employee of General Motors of Canada and volunteer counsellor Durham Mental Health) After an illness at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, on Friday, January 28, 2005. Bill, in his 82nd year. Partner of Chuck Handsor. Loving father of David of New Brunswick, John of Manitoba and Frances of New Brunswick. Remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Florence Ives, brothers Arnett, John and Lorne and survived by his sister Janet Ives of Houston, Texas. At Bill's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. MAYFIELD, V. Vera
Peacefully, on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, at age 91. Vera, beloved wife of the late Fred. Dear mother of Elaine (Frank) Haylow and Linda (Ted) Scharien. Loving grandmother of Scott, Lise, Steven, Lindsey, Christine, and great-grandmother of Jamie, Claire and Michael. Predeceased by sister Lillian, brother Harry and Terry (her beloved dog). Many thanks to the devoted nursing staff at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital for their care of our Mum. Vera's wishes are that donations be made to the Canadian Wildlife Association or the Toronto Zoo.

SELLS, Robert Kenneth
(Retired Post Office Supervisor; WWII Veteran) It is with great sadness the family announces Bob's passing on Friday, January 28, 2005, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, in his 80th year. Dearly beloved husband of Madeline, father of Brian and father-in-law of Darla. Cherished grandfather of Kieran, Ceilidh and Caitlin Sells. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, music and his witty sense of humour. At Bob's request cremation has taken place, with a private family service. Tragically as the result of an automobile accident on Thursday January 27, 2005 in Oshawa. Al is the beloved husband of Lucille McGill. Much loved father of Albert McGill of Seattle, Washington, and Derrick McGill and his wife Terry of Canton, ON. Al will be missed by his four legged friend Mitzi. BARTER, Leigh Charles
At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, January 26th, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Loving husband and best friend of Roseanne Marjorie Devolin for almost 45 years. Dear son of Beatrice Barter and the late George Barter. Loving dad of Ron (Glenda) Perth, Ontario, Laara (Dieterbrock) Delta, B.C., Grandpa of Samantha and Steven Barter and Keila Brock. Dearly missed by sister Linda Kubota Whitby, brother Rick (Pauline) Oshawa, brothers in law David Bowles (Cheryl) Valentia, Eric Devolin (Jacki) Oshawa, sisters in law Shirley O'Grady, Peterborough, Barb (Ron Hilts) Bethany, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins. Predeceased by brother Nelson, brother in law Fred O'Grady, father and mother in law Delbert and Margaret Devolin. At Leigh's request cremation has taken place, family graveside service Monday, January 31, 2005 with a celebration of life to follow for family and friends at Hampton United Church.

passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 with family by his side at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, in his 80th year. Son of the late Francis and Marion Creber (Francis Wilbert and Marion Hartrick). Beloved brother of Bill (Barb), Marion (Charlie), Autumn and Gerry (Leona). Loving uncle of David, Suzanne, Stephen, Margaret, Kelly and Danny. Good friend of Don and Jeanette. Frank is loved and will be greatly missed by his many relatives and friends. Marjory, predeceased by James, her devoted husband of over 60 years, parents Victor and May Smith of Whitby and sister Doris Shaughnessey. Beloved mother of Dawn Dennis (Nick), James Larkin (Sheila) and Kathleen Colquhoun (Al Demers). Cherished sister of Jacqueline Cook. Adored by 14 grandchildren; Kevin, Keith, Kerry, Colleen and Nick (Dawn); Paul, Craig, Todd, Brett and Maureen (James); Lynda, Daniel, Christine and Adam (Kathleen). Sadly missed by her 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be gratefully appreciated.
