Grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late John and Alice Bouchard (nee Smith). Dear father of Josephine Wallis (John), David Brown (Berni), and Stephen Brown (Betty), all of Pembroke; Nancy Burton (Don), Deux Rivieres; and Myrna Story (Glyn), Carp. Grandfather of Robert (Tara), Tamara, Lana and Grant Yourth (Kathy); Kathleen Allan (George), and Steven Brown; Brandon Brown; Scott and Milynda Krueger; Bryce, Dylan and Tyler Storey. Great-grandfather of Joshua and Jesse Yourth; Jaxan Kay-Yourth; Erika Blaedow-Yourth; and Jakob Yourth. Gordon was born in Steam Mill Village, Nova Scotia and is the son of the late Willam and Verneice Brown (nee England). Brother of George Brown (Berlene), Steam Mill, N.S.; Gladys Zwicker (Eugene), Geary, N.B.; Helen Pearl (Floyd), Kentville, N.S.; and Jane Harvey (George), Kentville, N.S.; and the late Harry Brown (Doris), Steam Mill, N.S.. Gordon was a career soldier, veteran of WW 2, the Korean War and retired from the military on January 22, 1975. He liked to keep busy and always kept his property in great shape. The family has many things made by him. He will be greatly missed.

Willie is predeceased by his daughter Marie and three brothers Edwin, Joseph and John. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Joan, his children Patricia (Fred), Danny (Lillian) and Penny (Reg); his brothers and sisters D'Arcy (Nora), James (Helen), Denis (Aline), Donald Marjory and Mary (Sisters of St. Joseph); his sister-in-law Grace and son-in-law Tim; his grandchildren Amber, Natalie, Jarrod, Tricia, Katrina, Brauk, Kyle, Timmy and Ben and his great-grandchild Jakob; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He fought a courageous battle against cancer with dignity and grace, his sense of wit intact and with gratitude to those who loved and cared for him. Loving husband of 60 years to Joyce (Davidson), father of Terrance, Kevin and Mardi Lee, devoted father-in-law to Sherry and grandfather of Bradley. Predeceased by beloved daughter Marsha Lynn. Predeceased by brother John Bagley (wife Thelma). Beloved wife of the late Arvids Jurmalietis, late of Pembroke & Petawawa. Loving and devoted mother of daughter Silvija Jurmalietis Parker (Peter Parker), and son Dr. Bruno Jurmalietis (Bettyanne), dear grandmother of Robert, Liane, Heidi, Kris, and Katrina, kindly great-grandmother of Morgan, Graham, Tanner and Chloe. Caring sister of the late Freddy and Otto Krause. Cherished "Tante Lily" to Romeo, Carmen, Margarete, Sonya, Irene, Lilly and Roland. Special friend of Maria Mueller and kind friend of many others.
Lilija will be fondly remembered for her loving, generous and supportive ways, her creativity and acceptance. She shared her love of music, art, travel, natural beauty and outdoor activities with enthusiasm.

Proud and loving Gran of Keri and her husband Gerry Bernard, Rob O'Brien, Chris O'Brien and his wife Jaime, Maigen and her husband Jason Head, Stephanie O'Brien, Shannon and her husband Darryl Nicholson, and Jessica Brown; and Granny to Richard and Taylor Bernard, Alex O'Brien, Morgan and Autumn Head, Colleen, John and Alanna Nicholson. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth O'Brien in l992, a son in infancy and her brothers Alfred, Frederick and Theodore Maahs of Pembroke.
