She was a member of Westminster By the Sea Presbyterian Church. Survivors: husband, Ray; mother, Helen L. McClelland, Weirton, W.Va.; son, Gregory, St. Marys, Ga.; daughter, Kimberly R. Jackson, Orlando; brothers, Wayne Lowry, Wintersville, Ohio, Noble McClelland, Weirton; sister, Hazel Pruckner, Pittsburgh; four grandchildren. Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange.

STEPHEN SCOTT ABRAMSON, 43, Woodstead Circle, Longwood, died Saturday, Oct. 9. Mr. Abramson was an auto salesman. Born in Long Island, N.Y., he moved to Central Florida in 1956. He was Jewish. Survivors: father, Joe, Stagecoach, Nev.; brother, Jay, Longwood. Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando.

CLARA BEULAH ALEWINE, 88, West Yale Street, Orlando, died Sunday, Oct. 10. Mrs. Alewine was a homemaker. Born in Elberton, Ga., she moved to Central Florida in 1952. She was Baptist. Survivors: sons, Lurie, Maitland, Herbert M., Kissimmee, Robert M., Troy, Ala.; sisters, Hazel Brady, Iletha Thornton, both of Elberton, Neldon Irwin, Stone Mountain, Ga.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. GLENN "JOE" BARTELL, 85, Monterey Drive, Oviedo, died Saturday, Oct. 9. Mr. Bartell was a retired field representative for the State of California. Born in California, he moved to Central Florida in 1973. He was Lutheran. He was an Army veteran of World War II. HELEN F. BARTELS, 93, North McDonald Avenue, DeLand, died Sunday, Oct. 10. Mrs. Bartels was a salesperson. Born in New York City, she moved to Central Florida in 1979. Survivors: husband, Arthur A.; son, Gordon, Goffstown, N.H.; two grandchildren. Carpenter-Curry Funeral Home, DeLand.

ROY ARTHUR BURKET, 61, Whitstable Way, Orlando, died Saturday, Oct. 9. Born in California, he moved to Central Florida in 1977. He was an Air Force veteran. JOHN FRANCIS BURNS, 61, Ellsworth Drive, Kissimmee, died Sunday, Oct. 10. Mr. Burns was a serviceman for ADT alarm systems. Born in Philadelphia, he moved to Central Florida in 1985. He was a retired Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Navy Tin Can Sailors Society. RUBY JUNE WALDROP DUEHRING, 70, Tallahassee, died Sunday, Oct. 10. Mrs. Duehring was an assistant purchaser for Knott's Catering. She was born in Oklahoma City. Survivors: husband, J. Stanley; daughters, Karen Duehring-Widmer, Tampa, Karla M. Pius, Tallahassee; sons, Jay S., England, William K., Huntington Beach, Calif., David E., Scappoose, Ore.; brothers, Grady C. LUCILLE DURFEE, 87, Gardenia Drive, Winter Garden, died Sunday, Oct. 10. Mrs. Durfee was a manager for Woolworth's food service. Born in Cleveland, she moved to Central Florida in 1977. Survivors: husband, Sheldon L.; sons, David, Millville, Calif., John, Peoria, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. SEAN NEAL FORREN, 16, Northern Road, South Daytona, died Friday, Oct. 8. Sean was a student at Atlantic High School. Born in Daytona Beach, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Survivors: mother, Winnie, South Daytona; brother, Jeffrey, South Daytona; maternal grandmother, Helen Chesnutt, Daytona Beach; paternal grandfather, Jeff, White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. ANNA LOUISE FRIEND, 68, Orchid Woods Court, Deltona, died Saturday, Oct. 9. Mrs. Friend was a retired secretary. Born in Leighton, Pa., she moved to Central Florida in 1986. She was a member of the Orange City and Deltona Shuffleboard clubs and the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. FRANCISCO G. GARCIA, 79, American Heritage Parkway, Orlando, died Monday, Oct. 11. Mr. Garcia was owner of an office supply company. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he moved to Central Florida in 1980. HERBERT R. GOOGINS, 90, Village Place, Longwood, died Monday, Oct. 11. Mr. Googins was a retired postal worker. Born in Kittery, Maine, he moved to Central Florida in 1980. He was Protestant. He was a member of University Club, National Association of Retired Employees, Association of Former Railway Mail Employees, and Woodford Club. JAMES FRANKLIN GRIZZLE, 73, 32111 Harris Road, Tavares, died Monday, Oct. 11. Mr. Grizzle was a Navy chief petty officer. Born in Mabank, Texas, he moved to Central Florida in 1970. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eustis. He was past president for the Orange County Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. He was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
