CLAIRE GLADYS NIXON, 77, Florabunda Circle, Orange City, died Tuesday, Sept. 12. Mrs. Nixon was a homemaker. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Central Florida in 1997. She was Episcopalian. Survivors: husband, Chester W.; son, Howard, Towson, Md.; daughter, Nann Kyra, Ojai, Calif., Patricia A., Santa Barbara, Calif.; three grandchildren. Fourtowns Cremation, Orange City.

JOSEPHINE G. PRIEBE, 76, Mercado Avenue, Orlando, died Thursday, Sept. 14. Mrs. Priebe worked in investment banking. Born in Kahoka, Mo., she moved to Central Florida in 1957. She was a member of Azalea Park Methodist Church. Survivors: daughter, Frances Maracle, Orlando; sister, Mary Toops, Pulaski, Iowa; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren. WALTER H. REMILLARD, 78, 55 North Woodberry Drive, DeBary, died Monday, Sept. 11. Mr. Remillard was a retired truck driver. Born in Worcester, Mass., he moved to Central Florida in 1989. He was a member of St. Ann`s Catholic Church, DeBary. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3657, Worcester, Mass. Survivors: wife, Laura; son, Walter R., Worcester; daughters, Gloria Lucier, Deltona, Bernadette Daigneault, Apple Valley, Calif., Rose Letourneau, Millbury, Mass.; brothers, David, Webster, Mass., Donald, Leicester, Mass.; sisters, Rita Clouthier, Dearbourne, Mich., Beatrice Barbour, Webster; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. THERESA EMILY RICO, 73, East New York Avenue, DeLand, died Wednesday, Sept. 13. Mrs. Rico was a homemaker. Born in Gibbstown, N. J., she moved to Central Florida in 1997. She was a member of St. Peter`s Catholic Church, DeLand. Survivors: daughters, Ellen Morelli, DeLand; stepdaughter, Marsha Pasha, Philadelphia; son, Arthur, Lindenwald, N. VIRGINIA A. BAILEY, 81, Mission Bay Boulevard, Orlando, died Tuesday, Sept. 5. Mrs. Bailey was an administrator. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she moved to Central Florida in 1989. She was Roman Catholic. ROBERT ELDON BEAN, 78, Redwood Court, Kissimmee, died Monday, Sept. 4. Mr. Bean was a retired lineman for Rock Island Railroad. Born in Osgood, Mo., he moved to Central Florida in 1982. He was Baptist. He was a member of the American Legion Post 188, Iowa Falls, Iowa. He was an Army veteran of World War II. LILLY M. BERTSCHI, 73, 119 Yacht Haven Drive, Cocoa Beach, died Monday, Sept. 4. Mrs. Bertschi was a homemaker. Born in Switzerland, she moved to Central Florida in 1988. She was Presbyterian. SAM WOOD BOONE SR., 81, Mayflower Court, Orlando, died Tuesday, Sept. 5. Mr. Boone was an assistant registrar for the University of Central Florida. Born in Marshall, Texas, he moved to Central Florida in 1957. He was a member of Kiwanis Club, Retired Officers Association, National Sojourners Association and Masonic Lodge 230. He was Episcopalian. He was an Army veteran. Survivors: wife, Ruth; sons, Sam W. Jr., Gainesville, David W., Atlanta; daughter, Martha Boone-Blumenauer, Palm Coast; seven grandchildren. CHARLES "ED" BREWER, 81, Clay Street, Winter Park, died Tuesday, Sept. 5. Mr. Brewer was a manufacturer`s representative in the paint and glass industry. Born in Kansas City, Mo., he moved to Central Florida in 1979. He was a member of Elks Lodge. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. NORMA LEE BURGESS, 78, Spoonfoot Street, Orlando, died Wednesday, Sept. 6. Mrs. Burgess was a homemaker. Born in Charleston, W.Va., she moved to Central Florida in 1957. She was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine and Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was a member of Edgewater Union Community Church.
