EUGENE E. NYE, 80, Glade Road, Titusville, died Saturday, May 20. Mr. Nye worked with NASA as a machinist. Born in Maryland, he moved to to Central Florida in 1959. He was a member of St. Edward Episcopal Church, Mount Dora. He was a former Sunday school teacher and trustee for the First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora. He was a former director of the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce and Bank of Mount Dora. He was a trustee for the Lake County School Board. He was president of Mount Dora Lions Club and a member of the Lake County Planning and Zoning Board. He was a member and a former manager of the Mount Dora Golf Club Association.
