ERNA SCHROETER, 82, 1111 S. Lakemont Ave., Winter Park, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, of complications from a stroke. Mrs. Schroeter was retired from the Lighthouse for the Blind. Born in Sugar City, Idaho, she moved to Central Florida in 1975. She was a member of Women`s Club of Winter Park. RAY AMBROSE SCHEARER, 83, Venice Drive, Orlando, died Thursday, Oct. 5. Lt. Col. Schearer was retired from the Air Force. Born in Shoemakersville, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1968. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors: wife, Mary B.; sons, David, Camarillo, Calif., Steven, Orlando; daughter, Susan Whitehead, Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Woodlawn Funeral Home, Orlando.
