Born in Herdon, Va., he moved to Central Florida in 1919. He was an honorary member of the Horseshoe Hunting Club and a Pioneer Forester of Volusia County. Survivors: sons, William M. III, Robert S., both of DeLand, James T., Lake County; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand.

ZOLA MAE WISNIOWSKI, 74, Flomich Avenue, Holly Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 2. Mrs. Wisnoiowski was a retired paralegal. Born in Marion, Ill., she moved to Central Florida in 1945. She was a member of Highlands Presbyterian Church, Daytona Beach. Survivors: daughter, Janet Spivey, Ormond Beach; son, Chris, Holly Hill; sister, Celeste Walker, Marion; five grandchildren. MARIA WOFFORD, 80, Lymington Circle, Orlando, died Thursday, Aug. 3. Mrs. Wofford was a can maker for Continental Can Co. Born in Germany, she moved to Central Florida in 1948. She was a member of Eastern Star. She was Baptist. Survivors: husband, Landon R.; son, Ray, Orlando; two grandchildren. National Cremation Society-Beacon Chapter, Winter Park.

JAMES RUDOLPH PRESCOTT, 79, Reynolds Parkway, Orlando, died Sunday, Aug. 20. Mr. Prescott was a real estate broker. He was born in Hardee County. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Survivors: wife, Mary E.; sons, James R. III, Tallahassee, William C., Dunedin, Michael T. Moss, Orlando; daughters, Ann Prescott-Burdette, Tallahassee, Ruth E. Moore, Orlando; four grandchildren. CHARLES VIRGIL RANSOM, 65, Woodbine Court, St. Cloud, died Friday, Aug. 18. Mr. Ransom was retired from Brinks. Born in Unidilla, Ga., he moved to Central Florida in 1991. He was Baptist. Survivors: wife, Mary; daughter, Ann Rosenbaum, Casselberry; sons, Andy, Georgia, Alan, St. Cloud; brothers, Jimmy, Georgia, Bobby, North Carolina; seven grandchildren. MITTIE L. BENTLEY, 82, Tropic Street, Titusville, died Saturday, Aug. 19. Mrs. Bentley was a retired caregiver. Born in Palatka, she moved to Central Florida in 1998. She was a member of Eastern Star, Bowling Hall of Fame, Women`s Bowling Association. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Arcade, N.Y. Survivors: daughters, Barbara Passamonte, Nunda, N.Y., Mittie S. Osborne, Titusville; son, Donald J., Holly Hill; sisters, Harriett Hammond, Crescent City, Echlyn Hines, Jacksonville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. JOHN ALEXANDER BORIS, 51, California Avenue, St. Cloud, died Tuesday, Aug. 22. Mr. Boris was a painter with Walt Disney World. Born in Boston, he moved to Central Florida 1980. THOMAS "TUCK" MICHAEL BOWERS, 36, Gainesville, died Sunday, Aug. 13, of cancer. Mr. Bowers was a harness and horse groom/trainer for Jimmy Cruise Jr. Racing. IRIS JUANITA ALDERMAN THOMAS BROCKMAN, 77, East Lake Road, Kissimmee, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, of cancer. Mrs. Brockman was a retired school bus driver. Born in Orange County, she was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. She was a charter member of Lock Haven Baptist Church, Orlando. JAMES BARNETT BRITTON, 75, Harn Boulevard, St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 22. Mr. Britton was a supervisor for the Pinellas County public schools. He was born in Mackville, Ky. He was a member of the First Christian Church, St. Petersburg. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a Mason. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
