He was a Navy veteran. Survivors: wife, Pamela S.; son, Adam G., Newport, R.I.; daughters, Bethany Kopplin-Gilpin, Courtney S., both of Newport; brother, Richard C. Herig, Lake Placid, N.Y.; sister, Susan C. Miller, Shawnee Mission, Kan. Memorial Funeral Home, Newport.

TOMMIE LOGAN, 66, Church Street, Orlando, died Sunday, Sept. 26. Mr. Logan was owner/operator of Logan Surveying. Born in Montgomery, Ala., he moved to Central Florida in 1953. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: daughter, Cheri, Massachusetts; sisters, Chi Chi Andrews, Marguerite Sanders, both of Huntsville, Ala. Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando.

EDWARD J. MAHER, 79, North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, died Sunday, Sept. 26. Mr. Maher was retired from Commodore Foods. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Marjorie E.; sons, Edward J., Gilmanton Iron Works, N.H., Richard G., Bow, N.H., Frederick H., Bristol, N.H.; daughters, Marjorie H. Kulash, Washington, D.C., Eleanor M. Noordsy, Moultonboro, N.H., Kathleen M. Ericson, Barbara E.M. Sheehan, both of Reading, Mass.; sister, Charlotte A., Cocoa Beach; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. CARL J. MAIER, 74, Adelaide Street, DeBary, died Monday, Sept. 27. Mr. Maier was a beer distributor. Born in Altoona, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1975. He was a member of Orlando Racing Pigeon Combine. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Victoria S.; daughter, Tammra A. Rains, Deltona; brothers, Michael, Edward, both of Altoona; one grandson. Baldwin-Fairchild Goldenrod-Winter Park Chapel.

DANA C. MIKENAS, 38, Orange Street, DeLand, died Friday, Sept. 24. Mr. Mikenas worked at Expert Bedding, Orange City. Born in Elgin, Ill., he moved to Central Florida in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Deltona. Survivors: wife, Janice; father, Leno, Illinois; brothers, Chris, Deltona, Leno, Tampa, Timothy, Osceola, Ind.; sister, Terry Chytrowsky, Neighborville, Ill. Carpenter-Curry Funeral Home, DeLand.

HEINRICH "HENRY" GEORGE MILLER, 89, North Halifax Avenue, Daytona Beach, died Monday, Sept. 27. Mr. Miller was a retired accounting supervisor for the New York City Building Department. Born in New York City, he moved to Central Florida in 1974. He was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild. Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, Daytona Beach.

ETTA MARIE MORTON, 66, Carrabelle, died Friday, Sept. 24. Mrs. Horton worked for Flower Patch Florist. She was born in Apex, N.C. She was Baptist. Survivors: son, Albert, Orlando; daughters, Cindy Hedden, Longwood, Scottie Lee, California; brother, Allen L. Lawrence, Apex; six grandchildren. Kelley Funeral Home, Apalachicola.

LOUISE SANDERS NEILL, 78, 220 Cinnamon Lake Circle, Melbourne, died Monday, Sept. 27. Mrs. Neill was a former seamstress. Born in Hartwell, Ga., she moved to Central Florida in 1986. She was Baptist. Survivor: husband, Lamar. Brownlie & Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne.

ALICE VIHLEN NORDGREN, 88, Palm Drive, Sanford, died Monday, Sept. 27. Mrs. Nordgren was a secretary for a building-supply company. Born in Sanford, she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Congregation, Sanford. Survivors: husband, Gustaf O.; sons, Gustaf O. Jr., Stuart, Leonard, Green Cove Springs, Alan, Trussville, Ala.; brother, Sidney Vihlen, Sanford; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild-Oaklawn Park Chapel, Lake Mary.

MARY V. PETERSEN, 80, Audubon Place, Orlando, died Thursday, Sept. 23. Mrs. Petersen was a homemaker. Born in Gainesville, she moved to Central Florida in 1923. She was a member of Gardenmakers, Circle of the Orlando Garden Club, Go-Go Lunch Club, Young Women's Community Club and Rotary Ann Club of Orlando. PROVIDENCIA ROSADO, 77, Texas Avenue, Orlando, died Monday, Sept. 27. Mrs. Rosado was a social worker. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she moved to Central Florida in 1976.
