James Clark
Services for James Kalaeone Clark, who died July 30 on the Big Island at the age of 71, will be held today and Monday.
James Clark was a star athlete with the NFL's Washington Redskins.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. today at the Waiki‘i Ranch Homeowners Association Club House on Saddle Road on the Big Island. On O‘ahu, visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday with services to begin at 11 a.m. An urn burial to follow at O‘ahu Cemetery.
Clark was a member of the Hawaii Labor Relations Board and a delegate from the Big Island to the Native Hawaiian Convention. He also was a star athlete at Punahou School, Oregon State University and with the National Football League’s Washington Redskins.
Clark is survived by son, Timothy; daughters, Lucy, Jamie Rapacz and Cora; sister, Florence Miyamoto; two grand-children.

CHIYOKO "FLORENCE" SHIROTA ARAKAWA, 82, of Wailuku, Maui, died July 31, 2000. Born in Lahaina, Maui. A licensed practical nurse with Maui Memorial Medical Center.
