OCEANSIDE, Calif. - Duane B. Delfs, 38, of 2376 Woodacre Dr., Oceanside, Calif., formerly of Marshalltown, died Dec. 19, 2005, at San Diego, Calif.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow services in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, where the family will be present to greet friends. Memorials may be directed to the family in his name.
Duane is survived by his mother Diane Smith of Marshalltown; father Gary Delfs of Troy, Mo.; two sisters Dinann (Michelle) Delfs of Marshalltown and Amanda Delfs of Germany; maternal grandmother Donna Lawrence of Marshalltown; paternal grandmother Irma Delfs of Grundy Center; great great aunt Amanda Weltzin of Grundy Center; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dog Bailey.

Funeral services for Richard B. Springer, 70, were held Friday morning at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Jeffrey Freese officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown.
Casket bearers were Jim Springer, Jeff Springer, Bob Springer, Ken Smith, James Vint and Russell Paul.

Memorial services for Arlyn "Irish" Miller, 84, were held Thursday morning at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Helmer Peterson officiating. Private family burial was held in the Union Cemetery, with flag presentation by Union American Legion Harry Crow Post 255.
Groups in attendance were members of the Liscomb Church of Christ, Union American Legion and South Hardin Recreation Area.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Marquerite Helen Vitek, 98, was held Wednesday morning at St. Henry Catholic Church, with Fr. Louis Jaeger officiating. Burial was in the National Cemetery in Tama County.
Casket bearers were Mike Doyle, Gene Holubar, Pat McLean, Tom Harmsen, Todd Harmsen and Jim Harmsen.
Groups in attendance were members of St. Henry Catholic Church and St. Henry Altar and Rosary Society.

Doris is survived by her three children, Bill (Ann) Sullivan of Coralville, Mike (Pat) Sullivan of Knoxville and Jane Sullivan of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Sharon is survived by her husband Thomas; adoptive parents, Marvin and Marlys Haverkamp; her children, Neil (Deb) Brase of West Gate, Dawn (Thomas) Fox of Fulton, Mo., Darcie (Keith) Bohle of Waterloo, Dina (Kip Grimson) Brase of Waterloo, Trevor Wiley of Eldora and Thomas Orr Jr. of Eldora; biological sisters, Norma (Jim) Warnack of Colfax and Loretta Hamblin of Minden; adoptive sister Lisa (Brent) Ackart of Hisparia, Calif.; biological brother Walt (Diane) Wilke of Salem, Ore.; adoptive brothers, Roger (Jan) Portwine of Panama City, Fla., Tim (Shirley) Haverkamp of Tulsa, Okla. and Steve (Kathy) Haverkamp of Grundy Center; 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
