A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church north of Clarksburg for Mrs. Nora E. Blankenship, 90, who died Nov. 27, 2000 at Topock, Ariz.
The Rev. Kevin Blackburn will officiate.
She was born Nov. 3, 1910, in Baber County near Medicine Lodge, Kan., a daughter of Wes Harris and Anciline Burnside Hunt.
She married Raymond Skinner in June 1926 in Cooper County.
He died Feb. 21, 1985
Mrs. Blankenship spent most of her life in Phoenix, Ariz., until 1983 when she moved to Sedalia.
In 1997, she moved to Topock, Ariz.
She was a member of the VFW in Sedalia and Topock.
Surviving is one sister, Dessie Maclin, Topock, a daughter, Hazel Guilliand, Topock; and two sons, Charles Skinner, Topock, and Raymond Skinner, Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews in the Central Missouri area.
She also was preceded in death by three daughters, Margaret Lindsey, Nellie Zaumeyer and Ruth Petterborg; five brothers, Joe Hunt, Pete Hunt, Willie Hunt, Claude Hunt and Ray Hunt; three sisters, Bertha Kline, Flora Beatty and Ruby Bushnell; one grandson, Michael Zaumeyer; and one great-grandson, James Matthew Marks.
She was cremated.
A memorial service was held in Topock on March 24, 2001.
Mrs. Esther M. Wolf
Mrs. Esther Marie Wolf, 71, Tipton, died Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 1998, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia.
She was born Dec. 20, 1926, at Pilot Grove, a daughter of Herman and Veronica Lena Kempf Gerke.
Oct. 27, 1953, at Pilot Grove, she married Elmer Wolf who survives of the home.
A graduate of Pilot Grove High School, Mrs. Wolf worked at Stride Rite Manufacturing in Tipton for 35 years.
She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the church Altar Society, and was an active member of the Tipton Nutrition Center.
Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth Wolf, St. Peters, Dean Wolf, St. Charles, and Gary Wolf, Ballwin; three daughters, Diana Luebbering, New Bloomfield, Linda Clutter, California, and Sherry Wolf, Holts Summit; two brothers, Lawrence Gerke, Boonville, and Herbert Gerke, Pilot Grove; three sisters, Mildred Wesselmann, Columbia, Irene Felten, Pilot Grove, and Martha Mae Murphy, Lee's Summit; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Gerke and Robert Gerke, and two sisters, Frances Reuter and Isabell Brownfield.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Church with the Rev. Henry Reichert and the Rev. Kevin Gormley officiating.
Burial was in St. Andrew Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Christopher Wood, Matthew Clutter, Brian Wolf, Danny Gerke, Marvin Koechner and Corinthian Jaco.
The Altar Society Rosary was said at 3 p.m. and a prayer service was held at 7 p.m., both Monday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Services, Tipton.
The family suggests memorials to St. Andrew School or the church.
Mrs. Victoria L. Rosen
Mrs. Victoria "Vicki" L. Rosen, 50, of Baltimore, Md., died suddenly Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.
She was born at Tipton June 13, 1948, a daughter of Arnold and Winifred Newkirk Dueber.
On Sept. 9, 1995, in Tipton, she married Michael H. Rosen who survives of the home.
Mrs. Rosen was a public relations professional in Maryland for more than 17 years.
She was co-director of the Carson Scholars Fund based in Towson, Md., a program recognizing and rewarding outstanding elementary through high school students with scholarship money invested toward their college education.
Prior to working with the Carson Fund, Mrs. Rosen was director of public relations and marketing for Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital for more than six years.
She previously held managerial positions at Sinai Hospital, Fallston General Hospital and Franklin Square Hospital Center.
During her career she handled special events, media relations, publications and developed award-winning advertising campaigns.
She was past president of the Baltimore Public Relations Council and the Maryland Society of Health Care Marketing and Public Relations.
She was also a member of the Maryland Press Club, an avid reader and fiction writer.
She was a 1972 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Also surviving is a daughter, Dara Hunter, White Marsh, Md.; her mother, Winifred Dueber, Tipton; one granddaughter, Laura Gabrielle Hunter, White Marsh, Md.; a step-daughter, Lenise Rosen, New York City; a step-son, Daniel Rosen, San Francisco, Calif.; three sisters, Tracey Veulemans and Lisa Knipp, Tipton, and Nana Dueber, Boca Raton, Fla.; and two brothers, Rodney Dueber, Four Seasons, and Randall Dueber, California.
Funeral services were at 12:30 p.m. Friday at The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, Baltimore.
Burial was at Druid Ridge Cemetery, Baltimore.

Nathan R. Beldsoe
Nathan Ray Bledsoe, 21, Versailles, died Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 1998, at his home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1977, in Columbia, a son of Ray and Barbara Teeple Bledsoe.
Mr. Beldsoe graduated from Morgan County R-II High School in Versailles in 1996 and was currently a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He was a student representative to the Missouri Student Association at the University of Missouri, and worked as an assistant at the College of Veterinary Medicine.
He enjoyed playing the trumpet, was an emergency medical technician and worked for the Versailles Rural Fire Protection District and the Boone County Fire Protection District.
He was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church near Versailles.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Ralph Gaw, Versailles; his father and stepmother, Ray and Shari Bledsoe, Sedalia; one sister, Kameron Bledsoe, Columbia; a very special friend, Tara Gerlt, Versailles; his maternal grandparents, Truman and Frances Teeple, Versailles; his paternal grandmother, Irene Beldsoe, Sedalia; one step sister, Tina Rice, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and two step brothers, Mark A. Gaw, Tipton, and Craig M. Gaw, Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Everett Bledsoe.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Mennonite Church near Versailles with the Rev. Tom Voth officiating.
Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Phillip Teeple, Mark Teeple, Keith Teeple, Tristan Bentch, Adam Gerber and Jeremy Hughes.
Honorary pallbearers were Tara Gerlt, Suzanne Akin, Nicholas Anderson, Alex Guhr, Debra Kidwell, Dennis Kidwell and Larry Stemberger.

Earl F. Miller
Earl F. "Burger" Miller, 88, Clarksburg, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at St. Marys Health Center, Jefferson City.
He was born April 18, 1910, in Cooper County, a son of Samuel and Nancy M. Martin Miller.
He was married Oct. 3, 1935, in Cooper County, to Faye Milligan, who died May 6, 1961.
Mr. Miller was a lifelong farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Kirchoff, California, and Bonnie McBroom, St. Elizabeth; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Pearson, on June 3, 1993.
Memorials are suggested to the Main Street Baptist Church Building Fund, California.

Arbera B. VanSandt
Arbera Burdette VanSandt, 94, California, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at Moniteau Care Center in California.
He was born June 14, 1904, in Russellville, a son of William Henry and Minnie Smith VanSandt.
He was married May 8, 1924, in Sedalia, to Eva Faye Bailey, who died June 27, 1997.
Mr. VanSandt worked for an oil refinery in Kansas City, then worked for Exide Battery, also in Kansas City, retiring in 1963, when he moved to California.
He was a member of Clarksburg Baptist Church, California Lodge 183 A.F. & A.M., California Chapter 521 Order of the Eastern Star and the Hickman Cemetery Board.
He graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1923.
Surviving is one brother, George Raymond VanSandt, state of California; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sappington and Nelle Birdsong, both of California; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Chapel, California, with the Rev. Leroy Moon and the Rev. Ivan Dameron officiating.
Burial was in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.
Pallbearers were J. D. Branch, Charles Stock, Lee Wendleton, Floyd Birdsong, Raymond Gerhart and J. B. Milligan.
Masonic services were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services.
The family suggests memorials to the Community Hospice of America, Columbia.
Mrs. Ella D. McVean
Mrs. Ella Dow McVean, 88, Memphis, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. McVean and her husband, the late Charles A. McVean, and their two sons moved to Memphis in the 1940s from Sedalia.
She had been a teacher at Tipton, and also taught at a private school in Memphis before becoming founding director of the Christ United Methodist Day School in Memphis in 1958.
She taught classes during her 15-year tenure at the helm of the school.
In 1997, the McVean family and other supporters of the school dedicated the first part of the McVean Learning Center in Mrs. McVean's honor.
The center includes state-of-the-art labs for computer, science and enrichment, an art center and a library.
She was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was a soloist in the choir and director of the nursery program.
Surviving are two sons, Charles D. McVean and Dr. John D. McVean, both of Memphis, a brother, Lee Dow, Sedalia; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7 at Christ United Methodist Church.
Burial was in Memorial Park under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
