Donald E. Dennull
Donald E. "Tiny" Dennull, 64, of Brookville, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 24.
He retired in 1992 as a semi truck driver from General Motors Wisconsin Boulevard Plant after 32 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria (Bergman) Weaver; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary Jo Dennull, Dale and Melinda Dennull, all of Eaton, Douglas and Kathy Dennull of Fremont, Ohio; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jim Myers of South Carolina, Chris and Scott Dickey of Brookville.
Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Marjean Dennull of Dayton, Thomas and Muriel Dennull of Massachusetts; sisters-in-law, Mabel Dennull of Lewisburg, Patricia Pyle of Brookville and Arlene Dinsmore of Indiana; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol J. (Libecap) Dennull; his parents, Michael and Myrel (Douglas) Dennull; and a brother, Edward "JR" Dennull.
Funeral services were Monday, June 28, at Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood, followed by burial in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, or to the Dayton Area Heart Fund.

Marjorie J. Burch
Marjorie J. Burch, 76, of Eaton, died Thursday, June 24, at Greenbriar Nursing Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Preble County, she was born April 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Orla and Dola (Brown) Fudge. She was the retired co-owner of Burch Realty in Eaton.
Her husband, Howard A. Burch, died May 15, 1986.
Survivors include a son, Gary Burch of Grass Lake, Mich.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marta and Curt Smith of Eaton; a granddaughter, Diana Smith; a sister, Janice Lantis of New Lebanon; nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Opal Rinehart of Eaton.
Private family graveside services were held at Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, with the Rev. James C. Sizelove officiating. There was no public calling. Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Emergency Squad.

Mary Alice Storer
Mary Alice Storer, 89, of 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, died Thursday, June 24, at The Brethren's Home in Greenville after an extended illness.
Born Oct. 24, 1909, in Carlos, Ind., she was the daughter of Harry and Iva (Porter) Shook. She was a 1932 graduate of Manchester College and had been an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in Preble and Darke County schools. Mrs. Storer was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren and the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Storer, in 1980; a son, Marvin Storer, in 1959; and four brothers, William, Edward, Harold and Kenneth Shook.
Survivors include a son, Lowell D. Storer of Hillsboro; two daughters, Ruth Anne Heeter of West Alexandria and Janice McKee Rieman of Christiansburg, Va.; a brother, John Shook of Richmond, Ind.; two sisters, Edrie Smith of Eaton and Phyllis Townsend of Greenville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, June 28, at Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel, with the Rev. Greg A. Hyre officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.

Alice E. Pierson
Alice E. Pierson, 91, of Huber Heights, formerly of Fairhaven, died Thursday, June 24, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton.
Born Nov. 7, 1907, in Fairhaven, she was the daughter of Mort and Bessie (Simpson) Doty. She married Oren Pierson on Dec. 23, 1928, in Campbellstown. Mrs. Pierson attended the Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church in Dayton and was a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren Pierson; one son, James Dwight Pierson; and four brothers, Chester, Ralph, Ed and Roy Doty.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Pierson of Richmond, Ind.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sheila Pierson of Fairhaven, Oren Robert and Debbie Pierson of Enon; a family friend, Sharon Huth of Richmond, Ind.; a sister, Florence Moss of Eaton; a daughter-in-law, Faye Pierson of Huber Heights; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, June 28, at R.C. Nein & Sons-Thompson Funeral Home, Camden with the Rev. Lillian Gillispie officiating. Burial was in Fairhaven Cemetery, Fairhaven.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhaven United Methodist Church, 7818 Ohio 177, Camden, Ohio 45311.

Violet Duncan
Violet Duncan, 84, of West Elkton, died Friday, June 25, at Berkeley Square Health Care.
Born Jan. 2, 1915, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ike and Lucy (Barnett) Bowling. She was educated in the Hamilton City Schools. Mrs. Duncan was a member of the First Church of God in Camden.
She married Ernest Duncan in 1953 in Hamilton, and he preceded her in death in May 1971.
Survivors include her children, Carol Wise of College Corner, Ind., Leroy Huff of Somerville, Richard Huff and wife Irene of Rosston, Okla., Earl Huff and wife Judy of Cedar Grove, Fla., Marilyn Meyers of Springboro, David Huff and wife Phyllis of Camden, Denise Haines and husband Danny of Dayton, Barbara Barr and husband Kenny of Fairhaven; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Bowling of Hamilton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Huff; sisters, Maggie Muncie, Elizabeth Kellum, Rose Wagner and Claudia Bowlin; and brothers, Leonard, Albert and Milford Bowling.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 29, at Rose Hill Burial Mausoleum Chapel, Hamilton, with the Rev. Hearon Carmack officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Burial Park. Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Hamilton, was in charge of arrangements.

Mary C. Campbell
Mary C. Campbell, 89, of Eaton, died Sunday, June 27, at Friends Fellowship in Richmond, Ind.
Born Oct. 6, 1909, in Preble County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Juna (Bunger) Horn. She was a grade school teacher at Monroe Central (Preble County) for 17 years, and was very instrumental in establishing the Mental Retardation Program in Preble County.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the DAR and the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member and formerly very active at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, and attended the Eaton United Church of Christ with her husband, Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul O. Shaeffer, in 1964; and her second husband, Wallace E. Campbell, in 1996; a stepson, Keith E. Campbell, in 1972; a sister, S. Elizabeth Hale, in 1962; and a brother, Russell R. Horn, in 1980.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and David Sheets of Richmond, Ind., Elizabeth A. and Dennis Shumaker of West Manchester; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul "Frank" and Joyce Shaeffer of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, with the Rev. James Lehman officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, Ohio 45338, or to L&M Products, Eaton, Ohio 45320.

Phrona M. Jackson
Phrona Mae Jackson, 95 of New Paris, died Sunday, June 27, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton after an extended illness.
Born May 4, 1904, in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Tillman and Lydia (Dykes) Hensley. She was a member of the Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church at Baileyton, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford R. Jackson, in 1970; a son, James T. "J.T." Jackson, in 1997; two grandsons, Stanley Jackson and David Bailey; a great-grandson; sisters, Ada Charlton, Rhonda Hensley and Vernie Reynolds; and a brother, Oscar Hensley.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred Ethel and James Bailey, Georgia Ilene and Doyle Crawford, all of New Paris; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Ann Jackson of Millville, Ohio, Billy and Marjorie Jackson of Richmond, Ind., and Betty Jo Jackson of Greenville, Tenn.
Also surviving are a sister, Fannie Ward of Tennessee; two brothers, George Hensley and Willie "Bill" Hensley, both of Tennessee; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, at Pine Grove Freewell Baptist Church, Baileyton, Tenn., with the Rev. Wayne Waycaster officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery there. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Kiser Funeral Home, 401 W. Main St., Greenville, Tenn. Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel, was in charge of local arrangements, where visitation was held Tuesday evening.

Charles E. Voge
Charles Edward Voge, 54, of Stock Road, West Alexandria, died Sunday, June 27, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Born July 31, 1944, in Dayton, he was the son of H. Albert and Carolyn Lois (Stockslager) Voge. He was a 1962 graduate of West Alexandria High School, and retired from Harrison Radiator in Dayton after 30 years. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, James E. Ryan American Legion Post #322 and the Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lynn; a son, Eric of West Alexandria; his mother, Lois Voge of West Alexandria; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Helen Voge of West Alexandria; his father-in-law, Charles Schmidt of West Alexandria; nieces, nephews and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, with the Rev. Daniel Snider officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlie Voge Scholarship Fund at Twin Valley South High School.

Sandra D. Stegall
Sandra D. Stegall, 52, of Orangeburg Road, New Paris, died unexpectedly Monday, May 17, at her home.
Born Aug. 26, 1946, in Richmond, Ind., she was the daughter of Delbert and Alma (Morris) Ward. She was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson High School and was the owner, CEO and president of Straight Status, Inc. of New Castle, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Earl Stegall, in December 1997.
Survivors include her parents, Delbert and Alma Ward of New Paris; a son, Jason C. Stegall of New Paris; a daughter, Lori L. Stegall of New Paris; three sisters, Deanna K. Finnan of California, Sharen L. Moore and Karen L. Ward, both of New Paris; a sister-in-law, Carlene Stegall of Richmond, Ind.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were Friday, May 21, at Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, with the Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker and the Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. There was no public calling. Barnes Funeral Home-New Paris Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Emergency Squad.

Kenneth M. Beasley
Kenneth Mann Beasley, 80, of Eaton, died Wednesday, May 19, at Vancrest Health Care Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Eaton, he was born Oct. 8, 1918, son of the late Raymond W. and Lena M. (Mann) Beasley. He was a retired farmer and caretaker of Fort St. Clair Park in Eaton where he worked for 25 1/2 years. Mr. Beasley was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Bulge. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha M. (Smith) Beasley, whom he married Dec. 29, 2943; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Brown of Eaton; a granddaughter, Renee Brown; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Beasley.
Funeral services were Friday, May 21, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Brian Dillahunt officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Middletown.
