Jane Etta McFarland
Jane Etta (Clark) McFarland, 78, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after an extended illness.
Born Dec. 25, 1917, in Putnam County, Tenn., she was the daughter of John W. and Sarah E. (Stamps) Clark. She had worked at Delco Products from 1940 to 1946. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Calvary United Methodist Church of Lewisburg and the Delco Ladies Gang.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Drexel Ford McFarland, on Oct. 1; and a half brother, Doyle Clark.
Survivors include a son, Steve McFarland of Lewisburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Nicholas Drayer of Lugoff, S.C.; brothers and sister-in-law, Carl Clifford Clark, and Raymond and Juanita Clark, all of Dayton; cousins, Violet Barnett and Zelamay Milligan; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 18, at Barnes Funeral Home-Lewisburg Chapel, with the Rev. David Justis officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Fund.
Lavonne Craig
Lavonne Craig, 58, of 202 Gilmore Ave., Eaton, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at Hospice Inpatient Unit in Dayton.
Born Nov. 15, 1937, in Eaton, she was the daughter of Earl and Katie (McCarty ) Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Craig, whom she married on Jan. 20, 1954, in New Hope; two sons, David Craig and Gregory Craig, both of Eaton; a daughter, Alesia Saylor of College Corner; four brothers, Donald Jones of San Carlos, Fla., Carl Jones of Eaton, Robert Jones of Middletown and Ralph Jones of Hamilton; three sisters, Laura May Fugate of Eaton, Eveline Brookshire of Dayton and Charlene Studebaker of Lewisburg; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Jones and Jerry Jones.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 18, at R. C. Nein and Sons Funeral Home, Camden, with the Rev. Todd Carmack officiating. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.
Randy Marshall
Randy Marshall, 32, of West Alexandria, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Marshall, in 1991.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys Marshall; a son, Andrew Cole Marshall; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Nancy Marshall; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Don Procuniar; nieces and nephew; aunts and uncles; and friend, Mimi Hartley.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 16, at Rogers Funeral Home, New Lebanon, with the Rev. Bobbie Predmore officiating. Burial was in Twin Valley Cemetery, West Alexandria.

Dorotha M. Bernheisel
Dorotha M. Bernheisel, 80, of New Lebanon, died Thursday morning, Nov. 14, 1996.
She was the daughter of the late John and Lurty (Gilmer) Miller. Mrs. Bernheisel had retired in 1971 from McCall's in Dayton, and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Weldon A. Paxson, in 1970, and Russel Bernheisel, on Sept. 12; and two sisters, Ruby Flory and Naomi Neubauer.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Patsy Via of Brookville, Susan and Duayne Sewell of West Alexandria; a son and daughter-in-law, Doyle J. and Darlene Thomas of Vandalia; grandchildren, Linda and Tim Newell, Mike Via, Tim and Kyna Via, Laurie Jo Via, Matt and Pixie Via, Amy Sewell, Jeni and David Guehring, Eric and Cindy Thomas, Scott Thomas, Marc and Mindi Thomas; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy Miller and John Miller, both of Dayton; and a sister, Hannah Woodie of Dayton.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 18, at Rogers Funeral Home, New Lebanon, with Pastor Robert Neeb officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.

Bonnie B. Brower
Bonnie B. Brower, 70, of Ohio 725, Camden, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 1996, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton.
Born Oct. 10, 1926, in Preble County, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Ruby G. (Patterson) Snowden. She had worked for IBM and Almaden Winery in California prior to returning to Preble County in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Worley Jr., in 1963; and a brother, James Eugene Snowden, in 1969.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby G. Crouse of Camden; a daughter, Debbie A. Crafton of Carthage, Tenn.; five sons, Tim Worley of Athens, Ga., Martin Worley of Corning, Calif., Scott Worley of San Jose, Calif., Andy Worley of Fresno, Calif., and Ron Brower of Camden; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Barnes Funeral Home-Preble Memory Gardens Chapel, 3377 U.S. 35, West Alexandria, with Chaplain David Garman officiating. Burial will be in Preble Memory Gardens.

Ruby Smith
Ruby Smith, 63, of 124 Elm St., West Elkton, died of cancer Friday, Nov. 15, 1996, at her home.
She was born May 17, 1933, in Cuthin, Ky. She retired from Avon in 1993.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Earl Smith; four sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sherry Smith, Danny and Cheryl Smith, Barry and Katy Smith, Chris and Scarlet Smith, all of West Elkton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Stan Woods of West Elkton, Lisa and Eric Kershner of Campaign, Ill.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Ginger, Shelly and Ashley Smtih, Brandi and Candice Woods, Danny, Bradley and Josh Smith, Zach and Hannah Smith, and Morgan Smith; five sisters, Lola Day of Stanford, Ky., Bertha Boggs of Camden, Faye Bach of Eaton, Betty Edwards of Berea, Ky., and Edith Cassidy of Camden; and a sister-in-law, Erma Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Boone and Belle Lewis; a brother, Corbett Lewis; and a sister, Eva See.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 19, at R. C. Nein and Sons Funeral Home, Camden, with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton.
Dorothy M. Moland
Dorothy Mae Moland, 69, of 4916 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1996, at Barbara Parke Care Center.
A native and lifetime resident of Middletown, she was born Jan. 20, 1927, the daughter of the late William and Mary O'Neill. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church for more than 25 years where she had taught Sunday School for over 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Moland Jr., in 1994.
Survivors include a son, David M. Moland of Gratis; five daughters, Karen Huffman of Slaughters, Ky., Kathy Watkins of Versailles, Ky., Monica Elkins of Gratis, Lanna L. Baker and Jonive Moland, both of Middletown; one brother, Lee O'Neill of Middletown; two sisters, Elnora Wall and Brenda Baker, both of Middletown; one stepsister, Kimberly O'Neill of Middletown.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Melissa Pike, Michelle Graham and Shannon Robinson, all of Versailles, Ky., Larry Elkins II, David Brandon Moland, Kelli Moland and Matthew Moland, all of Gratis, Heather Pergrem and Nicole Rose, both of Middletown; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, John O'Neill, Bob O'Neill, Kenny O'Neill and William O'Neill Jr.; and two sisters, Kathleen Wolfenburger and Margaret Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home, Middletown, with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.

Martha E. Watts
Martha E. Watts, 85, formerly of Campbellstown-Crawfordsville Road, Eaton, died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, at Greenbriar Nursing Center after an extended illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Preble County, she was born Nov. 25, 1910, the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Lulu Belle (Wilkin) Miller. She was a member of the Campbellstown United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence I. Watts, on Jan. 3, 1983.
Survivors include a stepgranddaughter, Carita Davison of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Marjorie McConkey; a brother, Carl Miller; and a sister, Dorothy Miller.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. James C. Sizelove officiating. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
Allmon E. Bradley
Allmon E. Bradley, 81, of West Alexandria, died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, at Heartland of Eaton.
Born June 10, 1915, he was the son of John and Dorothy (Clauss) Bradley. He retired in 1968 from Kuhn's Bros. Foundry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelle Bradley, in 1994.
Survivors include four sons, Almon "Bud" Bradley and William Bradley, both of Eaton, Russell Bradley and Donald Bradley, both of West Alexandria; four daughters, Marilyn Wigger of Union, Sandy Logan of Hendersonville, Tenn., Kathy Sandlen of West Alexandria and Sherry Davis of Eaton; 27 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and Jack Bradley; and three sisters, Mary Bradley, Elnora Coldiron and Dorothy Marcum.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the First Brethren Church, West Alexandria, with the Rev. David Oligee officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday.

James H. Brinegar
James H. Brinegar, 70, of Deer Run, Camden, died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Born Feb. 28, 1926, in Irvine, Ky., he was the son of the late Millard and Sarah Brinegar. He was employed at Square D in Oxford as a press operator, retiring in 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Mima Lucille (Seely) Brinegar, whom he married Aug. 14, 1977, in Hamilton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Linda Brinegar, Randy and Kathy Brinegar, all of Fairfield; one daughter, Darlene Brinegar of Mason.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Darrell Sealy of Hamilton and Brian Sealy of Camden; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Eileen and Bill Wyatt of Oxford, Debbie and Alfred Keith, Renita McElravey, Laverne and Winford Colwell, Sherry and Junior Gabbard, all of Hamilton, Evelyn and Martin Parman of Camden.
Other survivors include a brother, Harve Brinegar; two sisters, Cathryn of Irvine, Ky., and Callie Garrett of Spiceland, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Pauline Brinegar of Irvine, Ky.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Brinegar.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at R.C. Nein and Sons Funeral Home, Camden, with the Rev. Mike Gadd officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1997.
