Deborah Elaine Worrix
Deborah Elaine Worrix, 31, of Hamden, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. She was born May 27, 1972, in Gallipolis, the daughter of Donnie L. and Gail Waldron Worrix, of Hamden.
She was a 1990 graduate of Vinton County High School.
She is survived by special sister, Radonna Worrix, of Hamden; grandmother, Maggie Waldron; and great Aunt Elfie Worrix, both of Hamden.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Garrett Funeral Home, McArthur. Burial will be in Hamden Cemetery. Friends mat call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Muscular Dystrophy Association c/o Garrett Funeral Home.

Mary M. Auringer, 88, of Chillicothe, died Tuesday, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
Richard Woolum
Richard Woolum, 40, of South Webster, died Saturday in Columbus.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at D.W. Funeral Home in South Webster with Rev. Gary Heimbach officiating and interment is in South Webster Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
Ruth Holcomb Miller
Ruth Holcomb Miller, 86, of Aberdeen Blvd., died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Sylvanus Holcomb and Bertha Lawhorn Holcomb, wife of the late William E. Miller. She was a homemaker, and a resident of Ocala, FL, for 25 years, before moving to Gaston County in 1983. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gastonia.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley M. Rutherford, Gastonia, NC; special niece, Martha Jo Morris, Gastonia, NC; grandson and spouse, Brent and Lori Rutherford, Gastonia, NC; grandsons, Alan Rutherford, Gastonia, NC, and Eric Rutherford, Gastonia, NC; and great-grandchildren, Joshua Rutherford, Amanda Rutherford and Robert Rutherford.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Belmont, NC, with Dr. Leon Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of the daughter, Shirley M. Rutherford, 1126 Dumbarton Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Philip J. Roarke, 81, of Piketon, formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday night, in Pleasant Hills Manor, Piketon.
Marie E. Barnette
Marie E. Barnette, 76, of Bainbridge, died at 6:23 p.m. June 19, 2003, at Edgewood Manor in Greenfield, Ohio.
Born March 31, 1927 in Newark, the daughter of the late Homer and Gladys Chapman Courson. She was married to Earl Barnette who survives. Also surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Rick Maez, N.C., Bonnie and Roy Manley, Finlay, Ohio, Erleen and Thomas Swanagan, Fostoria, Ohio, Tanya and E.J. Fahien, Chicago, Ill., Debbie and Dave Cantrell, Sabina, Ohio, Kimberly and Jim Kohl, Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Charmin, Michelle, Desiree, Robin, Richard Jr., Kelly, Tracy, Tony, Jason, Nicholas, and Christian; 18 great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Ronald Courson and Eileen Wheeler. Predeceased by brothers, Delmar Courson, Homer "Bud" Courson, Alfred Courson; sister, Delores Gallagher; and grandchildren, Earl Merrick and Scott Swanagan.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Smith-Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge, with Pastor Rob Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Virginia M. Davis, 79, of Chillicothe, died early Saturday Morning at her residence.

Bette A. DeLong, 80, of Hopeton Village, died 8:40 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, in Heartland of Chillicothe, following a short illness.
John E. Manion
John E. Manion, 45, of Chillicothe, died Thursday, June 19, 2003 in Chillicothe unexpectedly.
He was born March 5, 1958, in Chillicothe, to Mike and Betty Curtis Manion.
In addition to his mother, of Chillicothe, he is survived by daughters, Karie Ann Manion, of Baltimore, OH and Christina Millar, of Columbus; brothers, Mike (Sharon) Manion, of Springfield, Randy (Deborah) Manion and Rick (Becky) Manion, both of Chillicothe; a sister, Jeri (Keith) Renner, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister Connie Butterbaugh and a nephew.
John enjoyed watching Little League Baseball.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Renner officiating. Friends may call at Ware's from 6-8 p.m. Monday. In keeping with John's wishes, he will be cremated.

Patricia Sue Skaggs, 60, of Piketon, died Friday at the Pike Community Hospital E.R., Waverly.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Home, Piketon.
Edward "Harold" Williams
Edward "Harold" Williams, age 70, of Mt. Tabor Road, Chillicothe, died 10:40 p.m. Friday at his residence.
Donald D. Zeisler Jr.
Donald D. Zeisler Jr., 51, of Chillicothe, died 4:45 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2003 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born July 30, 1951, in Chillicothe, to Donald and Ilene Pontious Zeisler. He married the former Teresa A. Smith, who survives.
In addition to his wife and mother, both of Chillicothe, he is survived by children, Kristen Dawn Zeisler, of Chillicothe, Shawn Zeisler, of Circleville, Angela Sharp, Dina (Greg) DeBord and Joseph Guarnieri, Laura Zeisler, all of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren; brothers, Rick, Steve, Doug, Tim and Chad; sisters, Vicki, Bonnie and Debbie. He was predeceased by his father and brother, Tom.
Donald was a diesel mechanic and an avid sportsman.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Ware Funeral Home with Dr. Dana Hakes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at Ware's from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
Jennie Mae Addis
Jennie Mae Addis, age 91, formerly of St. Rt. 139, Jackson, passed away Monday, June 23, 2003, at Westmoreland Place, in Chillicothe. She was born April 30, 1912, in Oak Hill, Ohio, to the late Charles and Sarah (Cambron) Leslie.
She is survived by sons, Oakley M. (Karen) Addis, Lewis Center, Ohio, Ronald (Elizabeth) Addis, Melbourne, FL; daughter, Rita Cochran, of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister. She was preceded in death in 1993 by husband, Oakley Addis, whom she married December 29, 1934; one daughter, Nita Neff, in 1976; and six sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2003, at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating, Burial will follow in Jacobs Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2003, at the funeral home.
