Viola Hardesty, 81, of Musgrove Rd., died Saturday, in Heartland of Chillicothe, following a short illness.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2003, in Schooley's Chapel Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home.
Richard C. Maupin
Richard C. Maupin, 45, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly, in his home early Sunday morning, June 22, 2003.
He was born September 11, 1957, to Richard and Rosita Bax Maupin.
Survivors include two sisters, Lida (Tim) Miller and Kelly (Steve) Holbrook; six brothers, Ted, Mike, Daniel, Jeff and Val Pennington and John Maupin; his step-father, Arlie Avery; a step-sister, Cheryl McKinnon; and two step-brothers, Robert (Debbie) and Tom Avery. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Pennington.
Private funeral services for the US Navy Veteran will be conducted at the convenience of the family in the Haller Funeral Home. Calling hours will not be observed.

Kelli Lee Lambert, 21, of Jackson, officer of the Wellston Police Department passed away July 21, 2003 as the result of an accident that occurred while she was responding to a call for the Wellston Police Department.
Born July 26, 1981 in Scioto County, Ohio to David Lambert and Vanessa Lambert who survive, both of Jackson.
Survived by mother Vanessa (Eric Howell) Lambert; father David (Brenda) Lambert; fiancé, officer Scott Conley; brother, Zachary Lambert; sister, Katie Howell; step-sister Erica Rowe; a step-brother Roger Rowe; half brothers David and Danny Lambert and half-sister Amy Isaac; maternal grandmother, Nancy Pierce; great-grandmother Elizabeth Boswell of Marion; paternal grandparents Arthur and Jean Lambert of Wellston; aunts and uncles; Pam (Roger) Henderson, Tim (Sheila) Pierce, Jim (Leona) Pierce, Beth Mullins, Michael (Cathy) Lambert, Larry (Barbara) Lambert and Barry (Jo) Lambert, also numerous cousins, friends, and her beloved dog Zoe.
Kelli is dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Albert Pierce.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday July 24, 2003 at the First Nazarene Church in Jackson with Rev. Jim Trace officating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call at the Eisnaugle Lewis Funeral Home in Jackson from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday July 23, 2003.
