Ray William "Bill" Kerr, 60, of Greenfield, died Thursday at his residence.
Janet S. Jordan
Janet Sue Boyer Jordan, 53, passed from this life October 20, 2003, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
She was born January 17, 1950, in Welch, WV, to Anna Jordan, who survives. On March 26, 1950, George and Opal Boyer, became the proud parents of little Janet Sue, the oldest of what would become a family of nine children. Janet was their little blessing from the Lord.
In addition to her Mommy, Opal, and her mother, Anna, survivors include a beloved son, Daniel (Susan) Jordan II, of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Daniel III and Nicole Sue; eight sisters, Pauline (David) McCullough, Nellie (John) Jenkins, all of Chillicothe, Gladys (Woody) Coey, of Kingston, Trudy (Greg) McCullough, Edith (Keith) Park, all of Chillicothe, Reba (Jeff) Mitchell, of Frankfort, Donna (Dale) Pate, of Chillicothe, and Mary Ann Hoffman, of Zebulon, NC; a brother, Paul Boyer, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Lisa Stanley; the father of her only child, Daniel Jordan Sr.; her beloved friends, Jeannie Harris and Loretta Blankenship; and her dogs, Rambo and Teddy. She was preceded in death by her Daddy, George Boyer.
She attended Yellowbud Church of Jesus Christ. She had retired from Orient Correctional Facility, as a food service coordinator.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Haller Funeral Home, with Dennis Havens and Frank Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haller's.
Franklin D. Harris, Jr.
Franklin D. Harris, Jr., 27 months, died Sunday, at Children's Hospital, in Columbus.
Enid F. Leeth
Enid F. Leeth, 87, of Circleville, passed away Oct. 21, 2003, at Berger Hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1915, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Zoa Scott Timmons. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Vaughn Timmons, sister, Erma Dale Dyke and a grandson, Mickie Driesbach.
Survived by a daughter, Kay (Ronald) Driesbach, of Circleville; sister, Marcille Pontious, Wheelerburg; grandsons, Seth (Karen) Driesbach, Kevin Driesbach and granddaughter, Tami Driesbach, all of Circleville, and six great-grandchildren.
For many years, she operated a grocery in Meade, and retired from Sears in Athens, Ohio.
Friends may call 1 p.m. Friday at graveside services at the Londonderry Cemetery. Services by Hill Funeral Home, Kingston. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Brooks Yates School, 1005 S. Pickaway St, Circleville, Ohio, 43113.

Carolyn L. May, 60, of Chillicothe, died early Tuesday morning, at her residence.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home.
Gladys Eileen Merritt
Gladys Eileen Merritt, 87, died Monday morning October 20, 2003, at the Crestview Manor Nursing Home, in Beavercreek, Ohio. She was born March 10, 1916, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Paul C. and Myrtie (Doles) Brown. She is survived by a daughter, Eileen Day and her husband, Jerry, of Maricopa, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Sandra Huff, of Dayton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Brown; and a brother, Ray Brown, both of Chillicothe, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jack H. Huff; a daughter, Gertrude Huff; two sisters, Bertha and Mabel; and a brother, Paul Brown.
There will be no public funeral services. Burial will be in Doles Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio, 1 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2003. The Kreitzer Funeral Home, in Arcanum, Ohio, is handling the arrangements.
Helen M. Royer
Helen M. Royer, 92, of Chillicothe, died 10 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2003, in Westmoreland Place.
She was born February 4, 1911, in Buena Vista, VA, to the late Raleigh Jackson and Nettie Belle Royer.
Surviving are special friends, Sara Twitchell and Ann Hardt, both of Hiram, OH. She was predeceased by brothers, Raymond and Marvin Royer
Mrs. Royer was in the retail sales business for many years, as a buyer for stores in Toledo and St. Louis. She was also a partner in the Ellis-Royer Dress Shop in Winter Park, FL, during the 1950s. She later became secretary for the American Chemical Society and General Electric Company, in Washington, D.C.
At her request, her body will be donated to the Ohio State University College of Medicine. There will be no memorial service. Friends, if they wish, may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, 171-173 E. 4th Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 or Goodwill Industries, 457 E. Main Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ware Fuenral Home.

David A. Tolle, 41, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Monday in his home.

Roland Noble Yankee, 54, of Greenfield, died Monday at his residence.
John H. Angus
John H. Angus, 79, of Liberty Hill Road, died 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at his recent residence on Lunbeck Road, near his granddaughter, unexpectedly.
He was born March 3, 1924, in Ross County, to the late William H. and Hazel O. Strawser Angus. On March 10, 1946, he married the former Esther E. Brown, who died November 12, 1990.
Surviving are children, Sharon (Dick) Winegardner, of Fairborn, Judy (Gary Sr.) Sowers, Mona (Allen) Demint, twins, Joan (Ray) DePugh and John H. Jr. (Teresa) Angus and Marsha "Stuper" (Jason) Willett, all of Chillicothe; 29 grandchildren, including Karen Krivak, with whom he had recently been living; 16 great- grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Martha) Strawser and Marvin (Elaine) Angus, all of Chillicothe; sisters, Betty Miller, Norma (Eddie) Grubb, Janet (Lee) Kindred and Donna (Pat) Martin, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by brothers, Jim Angus, who was his twin, and Paul Eugene Angus; sisters, Laverna Mae Angus and Ellen Strawser, who was Fred's twin; and a great- grandson, baby Joseph Krivak.
John served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired in 1986, from the Mead Corporation, where he had worked for 40 years. He was a member of Greenland Church of God, Mead Retirees Club, U.P.I.U. Local 731 and also oversaw the Mead Employees Bereavement Fund. Mr. Angus volunteered on the Huntington High School Alumni Committee, for many years along with his daughter, Judy, and also participated in other school functions. For the last several years, he worked for the Ross County Election Board. John enjoyed volunteering his time and talent playing his keyboard at Westmoreland Place, First Capital Enterprise, Mead Retirees Club and many other events. He enjoyed bowling with students from Pioneer Center, carpentry, making woodcrafts, bowling, camping and family gatherings.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2003, in Ware Funeral Home, with his nephew, Rev. Bob Angus officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veteran's Firing Squad. Friends may call at Ware's from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Our dad was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Dad had a zest for living life to the fullest and always found a reason to laugh and cut-up. He will be greatly missed by all.
Donald Ray Davis
Donald Ray Davis, 61, of Northland Court, Chillicothe, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 9, 1941, in Ashland, KY, to the late Alvis Everett and Laura Ellen Carpenter Davis.
Surviving are four sons, Mark VanDyke, of Piketon, Donald R. Davis, Jr., Johnny Dale Davis and Robbie Lee Davis, all of Florida.; one daughter, Kim Sanders, of Portsmouth; two brothers, Milford Davis, of Ashland, KY, and William Davis, of Yipsilanti, MI; six sisters, Deloris Dray, of Scottsboro, Alabama, Sandra (Scott) Schrader, of Beaver, Shirley (Jerry) Riffe, of Waverly, Linda (Jeff) Robinson, of Chillicothe, Debbie (Tony) Stuckey, of Rainsville, Alabama, Kathy Maggard, of Hamden, OH, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter L. Davis.
He was a welder, a construction laborer, and a member of the Chillicothe Moose Lodge.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at Botkin Funeral Home, in Waverly. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Union Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Lillian Orilla Lorene 'Renie' Vandegriff
Lillian Orilla Lorene "Renie" Vandegriff, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003, as a result of a car wreck.
She was born in Ross County, Ohio, on February 24, to Lillie Pearl (Tackett) and Walter Ainsworth Robinson. On September 17, 1949, she married Alvin Lee Vandegriff, who preceded her in death July 13, 1993.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Vandegriff; three daughters, Kay (Glenn) Harris, Karen Vandegriff and Emily (Walt) Stover; six grandchildren, Rebecca (Wesley) Wilburn, Laura (Vernon) Browning, Jeremy (Ashley) Harris, Desiree Vandegriff, Lillie Taylor, Grace Taylor; one great-granddaughter, Cassidy Wilburn; and lifelong friends, Mary Smith and Hazel Blankenship. Surviving sisters and brothers are, Flora Hall, Garnet (Paul) Spetnagel and Elvin, Carson (Elizabeth) and Olin (Mary) Robinson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Renie was preceded in death by brothers, June and Vivian Robinson; sister, Reeva Brust and granddaughter, Lorelei Vandegriff.
Renie was a loving mother and friend. She was always there to lend a hand to people who needed comfort or help. Her numerous family members and friends will miss her greatly. She was a member of the Jasper Wesleyan Tabernacle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, OH, with Pastor Jack Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon.
Friends may call at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
