M. Naomi Webb
M. Naomi Webb, 96, of Chillicothe, died 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2003 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness.
She was born April 23, 1907, in Chillicothe to the late Luther and Emily Thomann Limle. On November 24, 1927, she married David Knowlton Webb who died June 25, 1963.
Surviving are children, Emily Nugent, Timothy (Janet) Webb and Rebecca Mitovich, all of Chillicothe, Charles L. (Bobbi) Webb, of Arlington, TX, George R. (Patsy) Webb, of Toledo, OH and Mary A. (James) Kenny, of Spokane, WA; daughter-in-law, Thelma J. Webb, of Frankfort; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Charles (Lenore) Limle, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, David K. Webb, Jr. and John M. Webb; sisters, Dorothy Stevens and Ellen Ann Limle; and a brother, George Limle.
Mrs. Webb was a 1925 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She had worked in the Chillicothe City Auditor's office and had been a babysitter for many families in Chillicothe. Naomi was an avid Ohio State University football and basketball fan and especially a "Woody" Hayes fan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2003 in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. James Black celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Ware Funeral Home.
Jeffrey C. Bloom
Jeffrey C. Bloom, 43, of Chillicothe, died unexptectedly Saturday morning in his home.
Arrangements are being completed by the Haller Funeral Home.

Raianna L. Fields was stillborn Tuesday in Berger Hospital.
Wade Garrett
Wade Garrett, 77, of Chillicothe, died Saturday in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Dr. Atlas M. Jones
Dr. Atlas M. Jones, 56, of Frankfort, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, November 4, 2003.
He was born on October 11, 1947 in Fort Benning, Georgia to the late Atlas and Virginia (Richardson) Jones, who survives. Dr. Jones was the loving husband of Retha (Simmons) Jones, who also survives him. They were united in marriage on July 18, 1970.
He was a devoted father to daughter Heidi and grandfather to grandson Jay, of Dover, Delaware.
Dr. Jones is also survived by sisters Rose Ann (Charles) Cooper of Springfield, Ohio, Anisha (Mike) Davis of Columbus, Ohio, Charlyn Jones and Karis (William) Lewis of Chillicothe, Ohio, a brother, Rory Jones of California and brother- and sister-in-law Carvel (Charmel) Simmons of Chillicothe, Ohio; an aunt, Talitha Jones of Lancaster, Ohio, uncles Omar Jones and James Jones and a special uncle, Beecher A. Jones of Chillicothe, Ohio, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, he was pre-deceased by several aunts and uncles.
Dr. Jones was a 1965 graduate of Chillicothe High School and a 1969 graduate of Howard University where he received honors as a distinguished scholar and as a Kellogg scholar. He was also inducted into the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity were he remained an active member. He graduated second in his class from the Ohio Podiatric College of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and served his internships at Brecksville Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio and at North Lake Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Jones completed his residency at Leavenworth Medical Center in Kansas.
After completion of his medical training, Dr. Jones opened a podiatric practice with Dr. Sam Pearson in Cleveland, Ohio. He then moved to Dover, Delaware where he practiced for more than fifteen years. Dr. Jones received his 25-year pin for Service in Podiatric Medicine as well as the Distinguished Service Award for Podiatry in the year 2000. Dr. Jones also served as the minority recruiter for the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. Articles authored by Dr. Jones on "Anti-Phalactic Shock" were published in the Journal of Podiatric Medicine and he was a member of the Fellows of American College of Foot Orthopedics (FACFO).
Dr. Jones was united with the Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe Ohio at an early age, where a service of remembrance will be held in his memory on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at 7 p.m. under the direction of Rev. J. Troy Gray.

Pamela J. Reed
Pamela J. Reed, 59, of Londonderry died 7:42 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2003 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
She was born April 14, 1944, in Ross County to the late Clay and Mabel Schiller Davis. On June 14, 1964, she married James W. Reed, Jr. who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William H. "Bill" (Sherry) Reed, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Amy Reed, of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Jason Todd Taylor and Cassandra L. Reed; sisters, Clara (Lloyd) DeBord, of Chillicothe and Wanna (Joe) Mutchler, of Indianapolis; four nieces; and a nephew. She was predeceased by an infant brother.
Pam was a teacher's aid at Southeastern School and had been a membership services representative for Mead Employees Credit Union. She was an active member of Weight Watchers for 25 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2003 with Rev. Harley E. Roston and Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Main and Mulberry, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
Brenda Elaine Salley
Brenda Elaine Salley, 53, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Nov. 7, 2003 in the Wood County Medical Center, Bowling Green, OH following a brief illness. She was born Jan. 2, 1950 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Hubert M. Salley, Sr. and Beatrice I. Sams Salley.
Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Duran Caudill, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Jason Salley, Angeline DePugh, Bradley DePugh and Brittany DePugh, a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Guy McQuaide, Chillicothe, brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward L. and Murice Salley, Chillicothe and Hubert M., Jr. and Beverly Salley, 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Her parents and a sister, Edith Eileen Salley preceded her in death.
Brenda was an employee of the Chillicothe Telephone Company with 25 years of service. She had attended the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with her brother, Rev. Hubert M. Salley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday.
Jeffrey C. Bloom
Jeffrey C. Bloom, 43, of Chillicothe, died November 8, 2003, in his home unexpectedly.
He was born February 3, 1960, in Connelsville, PA, to Ray F. and Billie Kay Bloom, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Laura (Plynn) Perrott, of Chillicothe, and a brother and sister-in-law, Randy (Debbie) Bloom, of Memphis, TN; nephews, Matthew and Nathan Huntley and Ryan Bloom; and nieces, Lisa Bloom and April Huntley.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. November 12, 2003, in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will not be observed.
Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
Mildred Fisher Bowen
Mildred Fisher Bowen, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2003, at the Winchester Place Community.
She is preceded in glory by her parents, Harry and Gladys Kinnison, of Wellston, Ohio. She is survived by loving daughter, Nancy, of Canal Winchester, as well as nieces, nephew, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Darlene Carll, 53, of Kingston, died Sunday at the Kingston Health Care Center.

Ella Elizabeth (Ranck) Richardson Cassill
Ella Cassill was also survived by a sister-in-law, Virginia Ford and a brother-in-law, Medford Kahele. She was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
