Virginia Ann Withrow
Virginia Ann Withrow, 57, of Londonderry, passed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 31, 2002 in the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 4, 1944 in Ross County, the daughter of Ellis and Thelma Williams Blanton.
Surviving is her former husband, Samuel Withrow, Chillicothe, a daughter, Alicia Bennett, Londonderry, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Robert McCray, Chillicothe, a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gerry Lynn Withrow, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Jacob and Serena Bennett, Roxanna Withrow, Will Alexander, Shelby Stalder and Stevie Withrow, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, Feb. 4, 2002 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until the hour of service on Monday.
Winifred Irene Hoselton
Winifred Irene Hoselton, 75, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Friday evening, Feb. 8, 2002 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 26, 1926 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Willard A. and Gladys E. Howard Zeisler.
Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Robert D. Hoselton, her beloved pet, Cuddles, a son, Daniel K. Hoselton, a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey L. and Sherri Hoselton, a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Charles Colburn, grandchildren, Danielle Hoselton, Bobby and his fiancée, Jamie Howard, Ryan and Katelyn Hoselton, Nathan, Donnie and Christopher Colburn and great grandchildren, Dawson, Jordan and Ashley Hoselton. Her parents, in-laws, Jess and Bertha Hoselton, a son, Steven A. Hoselton and a brother, Ralph Zeisler preceded her in death.
Winnie was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, square dancing and playing canasta with her Card Club.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Monday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice.
Catherine C. Andrews Cutright
Catherine C. Andrews Cutright, 84, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday evening, Feb. 21, 2002 in Heartland Of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Mar. 5, 1917 in Jackson County, the daughter of Carey E. and Dora Johnson Andrews.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dian and Joel Fisher, Columbus, a son, Timothy Cutright, Chillicothe and a brother, Edgar Andrews, Pollock Pines, CA. Her parents and a half-brother, Paul Johnson preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cutright was a member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church and the Ross County Senior Citizens. She had been employed at Wright Field AAF Base, Mead Paper, Ohio University-Chillicothe and the Ross County Senior Citizens.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in Fairmount Cemetery, Jackson, OH with Dr. Dennis Mohler officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ross County Humane Society. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
Elva Bays Miller
Elva Bays Miller, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Mar. 29, 2002 in Bristol Convalescent Center, Waverly following a brief illness. She was born Apr. 14, 1910 in Grayson, KY, the daughter of William Lewis and Ida Jane Kincaid Bays. On Mar. 5, 1932 she married Paul J. Miller who preceded her in death Oct. 16, 1968.
Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ralph Mahaffey, Chillicothe, a daughter, Phyllis Bersebach, Reynoldsburg, grandsons, Keith and wife, Ellen Bersebach, Cleveland and Paul Bersebach, Irvine, CA, a great grandson, Nikolas Bersebach, a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Harold Boston, Lorida, FL and a brother and sister-in-law, William and Tillie Bays, Grayson, KY. Her parents, sons-in-law, Ralph Richter and Gordon Bersebach, a granddaughter, Crystal Adkins, a sister and 3 brothers precede her in death.
Mrs. Miller had attended Salem Community Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Brent Rolsten officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Community Church.
Evangeline Miller
Evangeline Miller, 73, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, Oct. 25, 2001 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1928 in Ross County, the daughter of Ray Albert and Anna B. Hiles Anders. On Sept. 22, 1966 she married Charles "Barney" Miller who survives.
Also surviving are sisters, Judith A. Smith and Joanne E. Hedrick, both of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, 3 sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 6 to 8 pm on Sunday.
Marie A. Southward
Marie A. Southward, 95, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday morning, Mar. 26, 2002 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Oct. 17, 1906 in Bedminister, NJ, the daughter of Andrew J. and Minnie H. Kugler Martin. On Oct. 6, 1945 she married Esker D. Southward who preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1973.
Surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy P. and Jesse Green, Chillicothe, brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald C. and Betty Ast, Brimfield, MA and Alfred H. and Herta Zoller, Lincoln, NE and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Southward was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Eastern Star Chapter 419, Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Melton officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.
Angela K. Cox
Angela K. Cox, 31, of Chillicothe, passed from this life unexpectedly early Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 2002. She was born Mar. 11, 1970 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Roger E. and Norma Jean Hanson Cox.
She is survived by her parents, of Chillicothe, grandmother, Wilda Hanson, Bellefontaine, the father of her children, Pete Davidson, Chillicothe, her two sons, Dusty and Sky Davidson, Chillicothe, a sister, Sandy Tyler, Chillicothe, brothers, William Cox and Kyle Cox, Chillicothe, several nieces, nephews and 2 great nephews. Her grandfather, Ralph Hanson, grandparents, Gladys and Ernest Cox and a nephew preceded her in death.
Angela was a home decorator. She was a member of the Church Triumphant and was a devoted mother, family member and friend.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Van Buskirk officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday (today).

CASSIUS P. BOYSEL,JR.
Cassius Pearl Boysel, Jr., 51, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001 in the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1950 in Circleville, OH, the son of Cassius Pearl and Clurtha Louise Wolf Boysel.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Marjorie Boysel, Hilliard, a special friend, Charee Levering and Mike People, both of Chillicothe, a sister, Helen Louise Zwayer, Chillicothe, a nephew, Timothy Zwayer, aunts, Marjorie (Milton) Cronkleton and Mary Collinsworth, both of Bellefontaine, Minerva LeVan, E. Liberty and Patricia Cregar, Piqua, and uncles, Jessie (Carol) Boysel, Madisonville, TN, Eber (Erma) Boysel, Kenton and Robert (Florence) Boysel, Greenback, TN. His mother, 4 sisters and aunt and an uncle preceded him in death.
Mr. Boysel was a former assistant manager for the Swifty Oil Co. He was a member of the Numismatic Society.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. David White officiating. Burial will follow in Union Twp. Cemetery in Milford Center, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday December 6, 2001.
Charles Maison Dalton
Charles Maison Dalton, 75, of Frankfort, passed from this life Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, 2001 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. He was born Apr. 15, 1926 in South Webster, Ohio, the son of Opal Fay Dalton. On Dec. 28, 1974 he married Sharon Suzanne Mitchell, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Jessica N. Dalton, Melbourne, FL, a son and daughter-in-law, Charles A. and Sue Dalton, Chillicothe, granddaughters, Aaliyah Jade and Tracy, a sister, Helen Iacullo, Chicago, IL, a brother, James Hanes, Franklin, OH and a host of aunts and uncles. His mother preceded him in death.
Mr. Dalton was a member of the Open Door Christian Fellowship. An electronics technician for the Chillicothe Telephone Co., her retired in 1982 with 35 years of service and was a member of the IBEW.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Pastors Mark Pfeiffer and James Cuckler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm on Sunday.
Rocky L. Powell
Rocky L. Powell, Sr., 51, of Chillicothe, passed from this life unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001. He was born May 14, 2001 in Chillicothe, the son of Howard and Cledith Powell.
Surviving are a son, Rocky L. Powell, Jr., Bainbridge, daughters, Christy and Tiffany Powell, Columbus, three grandchildren, sisters, Jacqueline Kitchen, Circleville and Tracey Powell, Washington DC, and brothers, Steve Powell and Danny Powell, both of Chillicothe. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Powell was a former electrician and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Private services will be held at the discretion of the family under the direction of the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home.
