PIQUA - Claude Adams, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Piqua Manor Nursing Home, Piqua.
He was born April 29, 1923, in Greenup County, Ky. to the late D. C. and Ollie T. (Boggs) Adams. He married
Willa D. (Owens) Adams Dec. 11, 1948, she survives.
Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Laura Adams of Tipp City, Dean Adams of Piqua and Dennis and Lynne Adams of Piqua; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Adams, five brothers and three sisters.
He was an Army veteran of the 101st Airborne, was a member of the Troy View Church of God, Troy, and retired as superintendent of Tube Products, Troy after 15 years. He was the owner of former Claude's Used Cars in West Milton for 15 years.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Stephen R. Zimbelman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Troy. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Building Fund of Troy View Church of God.

Faye R. Winchester, 73, 813 N. Main Ave., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, in Fair Haven Shelby County Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Cromes Funeral Home with the Rev. David Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery in Sidney.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home.

Age: 82
Mary Katherine Brandon, 82, 227 Maple St., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at 4:30 a.m. in her daughter's residence at 818 N. Main Ave.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. David Moran. Burial will be at Houston cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. The family requests no roses or perfume because of allergies in the family.
Donald M. Weiskittel
Died: Saturday, August 09, 2003
Age: 80
Donald M. Weiskittel, 80, 18401 State Route 47 east, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 4:45 p.m. in his son's home in Fort Wayne, Ind. He died of natural causes.
Born Sept. 18, 1922, in McCartyville, he was the son of the late Henry and Henrietta Schemmel Weiskittel.
On July 1, 1944, he married
Louise Yocom Weiskittel. She died on March 30, 2001.
Survivors include one son, Bob and his wife, Juanita, Weiskittle of Fort Wayne, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Ed (Sonny) Weiskittel of Port Jefferson and one sister, Joan Miller of Florida.
Four sisters and six brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Weiskittel was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
He was a retired machinist.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. Barbara Staley will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Quincy. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of service on Wednesday.

Fond D. Kiser, Jr. April 14, 1945, in Piqua. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Funeral services will be Monday, Aug.18, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Haldeman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
