Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 21 at Family of Grace United Methodist Church in Piqua, with Pastor Mary Haldeman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home.

Age: 63
Millard "Buddy" Cornett, 63, of 803 Michigan St., went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 17, 2003, at 8:20 a.m. in Upper Valley Medical Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Philip Chilcote officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from noon until the time of the service.

MARIA STEIN - Mary Ann Budde, 56, of 2321 Rolfes Road, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at 4 a.m. in her home. She had been ill for eight months.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Only Believe Ministries. Pastor Peter Doseck will officiate.

PIQUA - Hazel Preas, 89, of Piqua, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, with burial following in Pearl cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E. Main St., Bexley, with Pastors Thomas L. Hudson, Dennis R. King and Gerald D. Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill cemetery near New Hampshire. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

ST. MARYS - Arthur L. Rogers, 81, of 618 W. High St., died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 8 p.m. in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Bros.-Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St. The Rev. Dale Mangen will officiate. Burial will follow at the Neptune cemetery in Neptune. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Mark A. Behr
Died: Tuesday, July 22, 2003
Age: 40
FORT LORAMIE - Mark A. "Shocka" Behr, 40, Eastview Drive, Fort Loramie, died at home unexpectedly Monday, July 22, 2003, of natural causes.
He was born May 20, 1963, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, the son of the late Cletus Behr and Ruth Ann (Leugers) Behr, who survives.
He is survived by his former wife Theresa (Otting) Behr, of LaPort, Texas.
He is also survived by a son Ryan Behr of LaPort, Texas; two sisters, Kathryn Behr and Mary Behr, both of Fort Loramie; three brothers, Michael and wife Lin Behr of Fort Meyers, Fla., James and wife Lisa of Maria Stein and Donald Behr of Fort Loramie; two nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one niece.
Mr. Behr was employed at Michael's Mowers in Houston. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie. He was a 1982 graduate of both Fort Loramie High School and Upper Valley Joint Vocational School, with a major in auto mechanics.
The Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery. The body will be cremated.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorial contributions may be made to Childrens Medical Center in Dayton.
