PIQUA - Kathryn L. Riggleman, 81, formerly of Minster, more recently of 1123 Van Way, Piqua, died on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at 5 a.m. in her residence.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, with the Rev. James R. Christy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

TROY - Charles E. Riemke, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at Koester Pavilion, Troy.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Ralph Helm officiating. Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

JACKSON CENTER - G. Kern Ross, 51, of 310 W. College St., died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at 12:45 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Dayton, from complications of an extended illness.
A memorial visitation is set for tonight at 7 p.m. at the Muchinnippi Church, five miles east of Jackson Center on Ohio 274. The Rev. Ed Shady will officiate at the service.

Jacob J. Beyke

BURKETSVILLE - Jacob J. Beyke, 92, Washington Street, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at 12:18 p.m. in his residence.
Born Oct. 19, 1910, in Burkettsville, he was the son of the late Henry and Walburga Rohrer Beyke.
On June 19, 1937, in St. Marys Church in Greenville, he married
the former Mary Goubeaux. She survives and resides in Burkettsville.
Survivors include seven sons and six daughters-in-law, John Beyke of Egypt, Raymond and Betty Beyke of Greenville, Jerry and Judy Beyke of St. Henry, Jay and Ann Beyke of Chickasaw, Tom and Esther Beyke of St. Henry, Daniel and Deborah Beyke of St. Sebastian and Mark and Ruth Beyke of Fort Recovery; three daughters and two sons-in-laws, Mary Jo and Tom Jansen of Dayton, Betty and James Garke of Burkettsville and Jane Beyke of Burkettsville; two brothers and two sisters-in-laws, Clete and Wilma Beyke of Cranberry Prairie and Henry and Patricia Beyke of Franklin, Tenn.; one sister, Mildred Wendel of Coldwater; one sister-in-law, Katie Beyke of Celina; 39 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one sister, Mary Goubeaux; three brothers, Barney Beyke, Lee Beyke and Albert Beyke, and one sister-in-law, Rose Beyke.
Mr. Beyke was a member of St. Bernard Church in Burkettsville. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of America in St. Joseph and the Men's Sodality of St. Francis Church.
He was retired from Midmark in Minster.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery, Cranberry Prairie. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorials can be made to Community Hospital Home Health in Coldwater.
Mary Jane Wilt
Died: Sunday, June 22, 2003
Age: 80
ANNA - Mary Jane Wilt, 80, of 17205 State Route 119, Anna, died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, June 22, 2003, of natural causes at Fair Haven Nursing Home in Sidney.
She was born May 30, 1923, in Hardin County, to the late Paul and Myrtle Bowers Gillen.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Emory Wilt, whom she married
on Oct. 21, 1943. Also surviving is a brother, Earl Gillen of Bellefontaine, and two sisters, Anna Belle Jenkins of Belle Center and Josephine Rossier of New Bremen.
She was a retired farmer and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Sidney.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home. Mike Wheeler will officiate. Burial will follow in Pearl cemetery, Swanders. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365. Mark Adams is the funeral director.
Ada E. Rockwell
Died: Sunday, June 22, 2003
Age: 82
NEW BREMEN - Ada E. Rockwell, 82, formerly of New Bremen and a resident of the Windsor Manor Healthcare of Indianapolis, Ind., died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at 1:50 a.m. at the Windsor Manor Healthcare. She was born on July 11, 1920, in St. Paris. She was the daughter of Clifford and Alta (Blackford) Shaffner.
On Nov. 21, 1943, she married
Roy Rockwell, who died in September of 1978. Survivors include her daughter Marty (Ron) Brothers of Indianapolis, two grandchildren and her three sisters, Florence Marsh and Darlene Ferguson, both of Florida, and Mary Anderson of Celina. Preceding her in death were two sisters and six brothers.
Mrs. Rockwell attended the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. She was a homemaker and had babysat for a number of families over the years.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, 225 W. Monroe St., New Bremen, Ohio, with the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will be in the German Protestant cemetery, New Bremen. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 24, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Auglaize County Visiting Nurses Association in care of the funeral home.
James V. Barnett

Age: 66
TROY - James V. Barnett, 66, of Troy, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at his residence.
Mr. Barnett was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Waverly, Ky. to the late James Arnold and Lucrise (Perry) Barnett.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jean Dowrick Barnett; one son, James V.W. Barnett of Urbana; one step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Richard and Cyndi McGee of New Carlisle; three step-daughters and step-son-in-law, Sherryl Henry of New Carlisle, Connie McGee of Piqua and Kathy and Randy Abraham of Dayton; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Joyce Barnett of Parker's Lake, Ky., and Junior Barnett of Tennessee; and one sister, Dollie Mengas of Cincinnati and three step-sisters.
Mr. Barnett served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a glue mixer from Ivex Corp., Troy, where he worked for 18 years.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
