She is survived by one daughter, Julie Broadus of Sidney and two grandchildren, Nicole and Jessica Redinbo; one sister, Patricia Boggs of Dayton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Darrel Morgan of Cleveland; and brothers, Charles Compton of Fairview, Missouri, Glen Compton of Mansfield, Ohio and Gene Compton of Quincy, Ohio. One sister, Mary Morgan is deceased. She was a member of the New Richland Baptist Church, New Richland, Ohio. She was a homemaker. As per her request, the body was cremated and there are no calling hours. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

She was born September 24, 1945 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Christ and Ursula (Magato) Hecht and they are deceased. Surviving are two brothers, Paul E. Hecht of Sidney and Donald Lee Hecht of Houston, Ohio and one sister, Norma Stengel of Lakeview, Ohio. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick McMullen. Burial will be at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio. She was born September 19, 1922 in Olean, New York the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Delmaker) McKinnon and they are deceased. Surviving is one brother, Robert Heber and his wife Linda of Kirkwood, Ohio and four nieces and nephews, Charles Heber of Atlanta, Georgia; Diana Heber of Piqua, Ohio; Michael Heber of Piqua, Ohio; and Patrick Heber of West Milton, Ohio and one great nephew, Chase Allen Heber of Vandalia, Ohio. She was in the United States Marine Corp. in the Korean War. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She had worked for the State of Florida Land Bank and also had been an English teacher in Lancaster, Ohio retiring in 1991. There are no calling hours and burial will take place at a later date at Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

She was a 1940 graduate of Holy Angels High School. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church where she had been in the Altar Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella and the Schoenstatt. Fourteen brothers and sisters and two grandchildren are deceased. He was a 1932 graduate of Holy Angels School. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp. in 1933 and a member of the Sidney Eagles. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He had worked at General Motors in Dayton, Ohio and retired in 1975. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Also surviving is one brother, Daniel Bankerd and his wife Lillian of Baltimore, Maryland and two sister-in-laws, Barbara and Betty Goodhues. Two sons, Barry and Don Goodhues are deceased. She had previously worked at the Dutch Mill Supper Club as a cook which was owned by her brothers in Baltimore, Maryland and also had been employed as a telephone operator in Baltimore, Maryland. She was an avid shopper and a fan of the Baltimore Orioles Baseball team. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Gerald Bensman.
