Mary Christine Anspach, 83, died at the Pavilion Nursing Home, 705 Fulton St., Sidney, Ohio on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 1:15 PM after failing health of several months. She was born June 12, 1923 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of Isaac and Lula (Dodson) Jones. She married
Dale Anspach on November 25, 1970 and he died June 6, 1995. Surviving are three children, Ronald Rowell and wife Beverly of Sidney, Ohio; Donald Rowell and wife Avanelle of Piqua, Ohio; Deborah Curl of Sidney, Ohio and one step-son, Dale Anspach Jr. and wife Rebecca of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Martha Merchant of Three Rivers, Michigan. Two sisters, Inda Litton and Wilma Munson are deceased. Mrs. Anspach worked the the Shelby County Board of Elections, was a member of the Altrusa Club, First United Methodist Church, Sidney. She had worked for a telephone company as a telephone operator and her husband Dale and her owned and operated C and D Market on North Main Avenue in Sidney for ten years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Mr. Terry Mintchell officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 from 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday. Adelle F. Hauer, 82, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio died at Dorothy Love on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 9:30 PM. She was born May 20, 1924 in Lakewood, Ohio the daughter of John J. and Marie A. (Schon) Hauer and they are deceased. Surviving is one sister, Marilyn Van Allen and husband Leroy of Sidney, Ohio and one brother, Richard J. Hauer and wife Connie of Jacksonville, Florida. One sister, Doris Hauer and one brother, John Hauer are deceased. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Holy Angels Prayer Group. She had been a receptionist at ITT in Los Angeles, California for twenty years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick McMullen. on February 8, 1961 to Anna Faye Woodard and she survives along with three children, Rex Dwayne Neth of Sidney, Ohio; Ronald Lee Neth and wife Cheri of Minster, Ohio and Christopher Neth and wife Shelli of Sidney, Ohio; five grandchildren, Samantha Howe, Nicole Neth, Sara Neth, Danny Neth, Adam Neth; one great-grandchild, Michael Vincent Howe and two step great-grandchildren, McKaylin Howe and Damion Howe; one brother, Russell Neth and wife Linda of Sidney, Ohio; five nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Port Jefferson, Ohio. He had worked at Copeland Corp. as an assembler for 37 years and retired in 2003. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Patrick N. Kelly and Craig Martin. Doty and he survives along with three children, Cathy Herford of Piercton, Indiana; Robert Michael of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Janice Kelly of Sidney, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and one brother, Frank Brown of Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was a 1952 graduate of Lewistown High School, Lewistown, Ohio. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Fairview cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio with Alana Vrooman, the granddaughter and an ordained minister. She was born July 7, 1935 in Lakeview, Ohio the daughter of Lewis Earl and Grace Marie (Teach) Tuttle. They are deceased. Surviving are two children, Steven Tuttle and wife Nellie of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Douglas Tuttle of Sidney, Ohio and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One sister survives, Leola Kirkpatrick of Bellefontaine, Ohio and one brother, Leland Tuttle of Bellefontaine, Ohio and one half brother, Hally Lee Simmons. One daughter, Pamela and six brothers and sisters are deceased. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Sidney. She was retired from the Copeland Corp. as a welder retiring in 2006. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Major Herb Carter. The body will be cremated following the funeral service. July 3, 1948 to Don "Jim" Earl Boyer and he survives along with three children, Richard and wife Linda Boyer of Sidney, Ohio; James and wife Cheryl Boyer of DeGraff, Ohio and Brenda (Robert) Ganger of Sidney, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kim (Luke) Voisard, Teresa (Mike) Kelly, Cheryl (Dave) Shoemaker, Julie (Jimmy) Fuller, Aaron Boyer and Bryan Boyer; 14 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Ann Wetzell of Beavercreek, Ohio and Marjorie Buirley of Sidney, Ohio and one brother, Lawrence Cardo of Sidney, Ohio. Two sisters are deceased, Mary Bectal and Ruth Gallimore and one brother, Elmer Cardo. She was a graduate of Rooselvelt High School, Dayton, Ohio. She was a volunteer at the Women's Auxiliary at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church; she enjoyed gardening, sewing and being with her grandkids and great-kids. She had worked at Stolles for 26 years as a receiving clerk. As per her request, her body was cremated and there are no funeral services. Byron Carey on December 20, 1930 and he died in 1993. Surviving is a daughter, Sue Ann Krouskop of Marshfield, Missouri; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also dear friends, Betty and Charlie Bernardi of Sidney, Ohio. One son, Tommy Carey is deceased and also one grandson. Mrs. Carey had served with the Red Cross in Sidney for over 4000 hours in the 1940's. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sidney. She was a homemaker. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery and memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Jerome (Brenda) Geis of Botkins, Ohio; Ellen Strasser of Bradford, Ohio and Mrs. Jerry (Marilyn) Fogt of Vandalia, Ohio; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. One sister is deceased. She was a graduate of Versailles High School, was a member of the Rosary Altar Sodality and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She worked for the City of Sidney for 13 years as a dispatcher for Dial-A-Ride and for the G. C. Murphy Co. for 19 years in Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bensman. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery, Sidney.
