SITCLER
Sara J. "Sally" Sitcler, 73, of Paulding, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2004, at Van Wert Manor nursing home in Van Wert.
She was born February 4, 1931, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Josephine (Ramage) Cleveland. On February 27, 1966, she married Stanley Sitcler, who survives in Paulding.
Mrs. Sitcler was a homemaker and a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Payne.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Charles (G.G.) Cleveland of Fort Wayne, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 3, at St. James Lutheran Church in Payne, with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

RITCHIE
Mary L. Ritchie, 78, of Middle Point, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born February 5, 1926, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Maymie (Hammons) Adams. On March 20, 1948, she married Gael R. Ritchie, who died December 21, 1995.
Mrs. Ritchie worked for 17 years in the Lincolnview Local School District cafeteria. She attended Grace Church in Van Wert, was formerly active in the Mother's Club of Thomas Edison School in Van Wert, was very active in the Thomas Edison Special Olympics and loved cooking and baking for family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Luanne Metzger of Van Wert and Debbie (Steve) Allen of Middle Point; a brother, John "Jack" Adams of Van Wert; one sister, Lucille Knittle of Van Wert; three grandchildren, Jason (Michelle) Allen, Ben (Kendra) Allen and Beckie (Tyler) Metzger-Holdgreve, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ritchie; one brother, Cletus Adams, and a sister, Betty Osterhout.
Private family services will be conducted, with burial in Ridge Cemetery in Ridge Township.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Edison Endowment Fund.

HEIDLEBAUGH
Eldora Heidlebaugh, 96, of Delphos, died at 6 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born November 9, 1908, in the Bluffton area, the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Augsburger) Zimmerly. On May 4, 1935, she married Ralph Harshe. Mr. Harshe, an Allen County (Ohio) deputy sheriff, was killed in the line of duty in September 1936. On March 16, 1946, she married William Heidlebaugh, who died in October 1988.
Mrs. Heidlebaugh was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and was raised in the Ebenezer Mennonite Church in the Bluffton area and was extremely pleased with her upbringing in the church. She was also a former member of Morris Chapel Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, loved farm animals and dearly loved her Border collie "Marie."
Survivors include a son, Harold Heidlebaugh of Delphos; one brother, Glen Zimmerly, and a stepgrandchild, Jeremy Horstman.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbert Zimmerly, and three sisters, Barbara Steiner, Selena Nichols and Sylvia Berryhill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Gary Holman officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 2, and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 3, at the funeral home.
GERMANN
Edwin A. Germann, 69, of Oakwood and formerly of Van Wert, died at 1:50 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2004, at his residence.
He was born February 10, 1935, in Van Wert, the son of the late Frederick and Mildred Germann. On November 21, 1954, he married Marguerite Burcaw, who survives in Oakwood.
Mr. Germann was employed at Uniroyal/B.F. Goodrich, retiring in 1997 after 36 years. He was also a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pauilding, and the men's group of the church. He also belonged to USWA Local 715, Flat Rock Creek Gas/Steam Engine Association, Big Boys Toys Car Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2556 of Hicksville.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include a daughter, Debra (Doug) Hawkey of Hicksville; one son, Dean (Cheryl) Germann of Oakwood; four brothers, Al (Carol) Germann and Herman (Mary) Germann, both of Convoy, Gerald (Dorothy) Germann of Scott and Clifford (Teresa) Germann of Wren; three siters, Hannah (Jim) Jerome of Phoenix, Ariz., Lora (Larry) Brothers of Zanesville, Ind., and Donna (Rev. Herbert) Gerken of Fort Wayne, Ind., and two grandchildren, Jason Germann of Continental and Angela Hawkey of Hicksville.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, D.J. Hawkey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paulding, with the Rev. Mary Beth Smith-Webb officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulding.
Calling hours are 2-9 p.m. Monday, January 3, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, where Eagles Aerie 2556 will conduct a memorial service at 7 that evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Defiance County or St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy.
STOCKLIN
Karen M. Stocklin, 56, of Delphos, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2004, at her residence.
She was born July 18, 1948, in Lima, the daughter of Margaret E. (Pohl) Powell of Delphos and the late Norman E. Powell. On November 19, 1966, she married Curtis R. Stocklin, who died January 10, 1969. She was a former longtime companion to Jim Suever.
Mrs. Stocklin was a homemaker and a wonderful friend to many. She volunteered at a soup kitchen and always did random acts of kindness. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and of the Reyes Syndrome Foundation.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Terry) Pohlman of Delphos; six sisters, Marge (Bill) Robinson of Exeter, Calif., Patricia Rittger of Houston, Texas, Theresa (John) Menke of Middle Point, Cheri (Mike) Placke of Van Wert and Deb (Tim) Maag and Lisa (Bruce) Bendele, both of Ottoville; three brothers, Tom (Lynn) Powell of Powell, Michael Powell of Columbus and Jeff Powell of Elida; three grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Visiting Nurses or the American Cancer Society.
HURLEY
Darlene A. Hurley, 51, of Delphos, died at 1:36 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2004, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima.
She was born July 21, 1953, the daughter of the late Russell C. Walker.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include three daughters, Toni Walker of Springfield, Anne (Jimmy) Martin and Tiffany Walker, both of Delphos, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Hurley, and one sister, Brenda Browne.
Private graveside services will be held in Nevada Cemetery at a later date.
KEMLER
Wilma I. Kemler, 77, of Van Wert, died at 9:20 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born February 5, 1927, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Leo and Neva (Johnson) Jeffery. On June 7, 1947, in Paulding, she married Howard G. Kemler, who died June 2, 1993.
Mrs. Kemler was a school teacher for 38 years, retiring from Lincolnview Local School District in 1989. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. She was a graduate of Defiance College and a member of the Sugar & Spice Home Extension Club and Lady Board of Managers of Van Wert County Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Wayne (Karen) Kemler of Van Wert; two daughters, Cara (Larry) Ray of Findlay and Marsha (Brad) Owens of Convoy; a sister, Colleen (Gilbert) Schick of Oakwood; five grandchildren, David Kemler, Scott Kemler and Greg Owens, all of Van Wert, Tina Vodika of Orrville and Julie Owens of Columbus, and three great-grandchildren, Natalie and Morgan Vodika and Ethan Kemler.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jeffery, and a grandson, Andy Kemler, who died in July 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 9, at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
