PETERSMEYER
John Petersmeyer, 67, of Delphos, died at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born May 4, 1936, in Riblake, Wis., the son of the late Harry Simon and Thelma R. (Warner) Petersmeyer. He was married to Linda Cates, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Petersmeyer was a retired engineer and worked in the telephone industry for more than 30 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos, the YMCA Indian Guides and Princesses, Delphos Lions Club, United Methodist Men's Club and attended Lane Technical School in Chicago, Ill., and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill. for drafting and served on the Senior Citizens board. He also had served in the U.S. Naval Air Reserve from 1954-1960. He was a very devoted, loving father, grandfather, brother and husband and attended nearly every school and college activity of his children and grandchildren. He loved model trains and antique cars. He new knew how to say "no" to helping anyone and always had a smile on his face.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeff Petersmeyer of New York City; one daughter, Jill (John) Radler of Delphos; a sister, Arlove E. (Art) Lund of Cold Springs, Texas; one sister-in-law, Melissa (Larry) McIntosh of Anna, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jordyn, Johnny and Joshua Radler; 11 nieces and nephews, and many special friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Shirley Cates.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos.

BUCKLOH
Rose Anna Spencer Buckloh, 81, of rural Rockford, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at The Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys after an extended illness.
She was born May 30, 1922, in Bryant, Ind., the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Lizzie L. Spencer. On April 5, 1947, she married Clarence Buckloh, who survives in St. Marys.
Mrs. Buckloh worked at the Naval Ordinance Plant in Indianapolis during World War II. After the war she worked at the Celina Insurance Company and then for the Mersman Table Company in Celina. She was a faithful companion to her husband and homemaker on their farm near Rockford. She was an active member of the Rockford United Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed singing in the choir.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Nellie G. Cline of Syracuse, Ind., Alice L. Smith of Macon, Ga., and Joan M. Rager of Van Wert; a brother, Robert D. Spencer of Indianapolis, Ind., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary C. Pence and Kathleen B. Reichard.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Lehman Funeral Home in Celina, with officiating ministers Michael Berne of Rockford United Methodist Church and John A. Rager, a nephew of Mrs. Buckloh. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 1, and an hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockford United Methodist Church.
GEIER
Sila E. "Skeeter" Geier, 97, of Delphos, died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born February 10, 1907, in Lima, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Osie (Copeland) Robinson. She married Paul E. Geier, who died June 28, 1987.
Mrs. Geier was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos. She was a 1925 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Mary Lou) Geier of Delphos; four grandchildren, Tom and Mark Geier, Kathy Smithberger and Lisa Ebbeskotte; 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tim Geier; one daughter-in-law, Claire Geier, and siblings Francis Becker, Helen Coon and Ralph Sacher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

KILLION
Donna M. Killion, 80, of 1183 Rosalie Drive, Van Wert, died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2004, at her residence.
She was born November 9, 1923, in Henry County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter Casteel and Bertha (Phillips) Casteel Blue. On November 6, 1942, in Napoleon, to Gerald L. "Jed" Killion, who survives at home.
Mrs. Killion was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Barbara Shinabery of Van Wert, Carol (John) Jones of Ohio City and Debra (Larry) McClure of Van Wert; a sister, Mary Johnson of Arizona; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Killion, and one sister, Veda Junge.
Private family services will be held.
There will be no visitation.

ESSEX
Helen B. Essex, 100, of Convoy, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Convoy Care Center.
She was born April 18, 1903, in Convoy, the daughter of the late Jacob "Jake" and Cora (Paxson) Stevenson.
Ms. Essex was an employee of the former DWG plant in Van Wert and worked at the Van Wert YWCA from 1955-1988.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Krick of Van Wert; two grandsons, Jon West of Van Wert and Russ (Cathy) Krick of Convoy; three great-granddaughters, Aimee (Duane) Shears of Niles, Mich., and Alicia (Jamie) Krick of Convoy; a great-great-granddaughter, Shayla N. Shears of Niles, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
There will no funeral services or visitation.
Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert was in charge of arrangements.
MASON
Hazel L. Mason, 86, of Van Wert, died at 1:15 Monday, March 8, 2004, at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1917, in Haviland, the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Eva Pearl (Snyder) Jacobs. On January 16, 1955, she married Paul W. Mason, who died January 11, 2001.
Mrs. Mason was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Windsor of Fort Wayne, Ind., Margaret Patch of Decatur, Ind., and Mary Jacobs of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles D. Jacobs, the two sisters, Ida Jacobs and Florence Jacobs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Darrell Spencer officiating.
Calling hours are from 5-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

KEMP
Jennie C. Kemp, 91, of Haviland, died at 3 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2004, at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home in Payne.
She was born March 15, 1912, in Haviland, the daughter of the late Jesse and Dolly Anne (Comadoll) Kemp.
Miss Kemp retired from General Electric Company in Fort Wayne, Ind., after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Briceton.
Survivors include several cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and Marwood Kemp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the funeral home.
