HARDEN
Beulah Harden, 94, of Van Wert, died at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2005, at Van Wert Manor nursing home in Van Wert.
She was born June 1, 1911, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late William M. and Talma O’Nora (Capper) Dias. On October 12, 1933, she married Robert D. Harden, who died November 25, 1970.
Mrs. Harden retired from the Van Wert County Clerk of Courts office on January 1, 1975. She was a 1929 graduate of Van Wert High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. She had been a member of the County Republican Women’s Club.
Survivors include a son, Thomas C. (Nan) Harden of San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Patricia A. (Clide) Ford of Van Wert, Roberta B. (Jan) Matthews of Ohio City and Margaret H. “Peg” (Andrew) Candor of Fort Wayne, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Cynthia Ford, Deborah Sue Pfoser, Vickie Lynn Smith, Jeff Matthews, Todd Matthews, Stephanie Perry, Scott Harden and Austin Candor, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Dale Dias, and a sister, Bernice Springer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Viewing hours are from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

GABLE
Edna R. Gable, 94, of Delphos, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born July 9, 1911, in Glandorf, the daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Hoffman) Dickrede. On June 11, 1940, she married Clarence Gable, who died February 13, 1992.
Mrs. Gable was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, a former member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and a former member of the Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, card games and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin (June) Gable and James (Marge) Gable, both of Delphos; a daughter, Betty Gable of Decatur, Ind.; 14 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Ethel Gable and Mildred Landwehr; two brothers, Ralph and Urban Dickrede, and four sisters, Zita Hesseling, Emma Fischer, Edith Pothast and Estella Suever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, August 22, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.
Viewing hours are 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 20, and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 21, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 Sunday evening.

RILEY
Myrna K. Riley, 84, of Van Wert, died at 11:08 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born March 11, 1921, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Herbert E. and Golda (Carmean) Thatcher. She first married Elderd F. Brittsan, who died January 28, 1945. She then married Joseph D. Riley, who died May 23, 1981.
Mrs. Riley retired from Aeroquip Corporation (Eaton) in Van Wert. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
Survivors include two sons, James K. (Helen) Brittsan of Roy, Wash., and Jerry B. (Jacquelyn) Brittsan of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Noel (Barb) Thatcher and Eugene (Janice) Thatcher, both of Decatur, Ind.; two sisters, Ruth Riley of Ohio City and Rosalie (Floyd) Kirkland of DeBarry, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Melissa Scott, Jason Brittsan, Cheryl Freedman, Michael Kursell, Samuel Brittsan, Michael Phillips and Theresa Phillips, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlin and Graydon Thatcher; a sister, Marilyn Callow, and a grandson, Travis Brittsan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 22, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Rev. Ray Feeck officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Viewing hours are 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 21, at the funeral home.

FUGAZZI
Dr. Frederick B. Fugazzi, 100, died Friday, August 19, 2005, at First Community Village in Columbus.
He was born in Attica, Ind., and had been a resident of Van Wert. He married Mildred Bultman, who died in 1991.
Dr. Fugazzi was a dentist in Van Wert for more than 40 years. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and retired in Seneca, S.C., in 1974. He was a member of Young at Heart, St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clemson, S.C., and the Elks Lodge 1197 in Van Wert.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald Fugazzi of Columbus and Richard (LaVonne) Fugazzi of Atlanta, Ga., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery.
Viewing hours will be from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

SIDERS
Betty J. Siders, 80, of Stuart, Fla., died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005, at the residence of her daughter in Stuart.
She was born June 16, 1925, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Arthur Ray and Mildred Martha (Breece) Boroff. On July 24, 1942, she married Charles G. Siders, who survives in Florida.
Mrs. Siders was a homemaker.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry D. (Judith) Siders of Frankfort, Ind., and Bruce (Elaine) Siders of Dover, Tenn.; a daughter, Sandy S. (Robert) Smith of Stuart, Fla.; a sister, Joan Stegaman of Van Wert, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard R. and Roger Boroff, and a sister, Ruth Baker.
Private graveside funeral services will be conducted at IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
There will be no viewing hours.

WILLIAMSON
E. Virginia Williamson, 84, of Van Wert, died at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born January 31, 1921, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Clarence and Dora (Pelfrey) Anderson.
Ms. Williamson was employed for many years as a nursing assistant at the former Castle Convalescent home in Van Wert.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Doyle) Whitaker of Scott; one brother, Jack Anderson of Florida; a brother-in-law, Wilbur (Lois) Williamson of Cavett; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy L. Williamson in September 2004, and a brother, William Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, October 1, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill, with Pastor David Prior officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
There will be no public viewing hours.

MYERS
Lois Ann Myers, 71, of Columbus Grove, died at 3:55 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2005, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born May 24, 1934, in Kalida, the daughter of the late Roy O. and Bernice (Marvin) Dunlap. On September 6, 1958, she married Earl William Myers, who survives in Columbus Grove.
Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and babysat for many, many children since she was 12 years old. She was an accomplished seamstress and an awesome mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of Ottawa River Church of God in Rimer.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Bill (Kathy) Myers of Springfield and Robert (Michele) Myers of Carrollton, Texas; two daughters, Patti Spicer of Kalida and Rhonda (Steve) Reed of Columbus Grove; three sisters, Oleta Leidy and Marie Winings, both of Lima, and Jean (Richard) Ruebush of Bluffton; a sister-in-law, June Dunlap; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Roy Dunlap.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Mark Wells and Rev. Bob Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa River Cemetery in Rimer.
Viewing hours are from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, and 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, at the funeral home.
