51, of Van Wert, died at 11:06 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born March 10, 1952, in Lima, the daughter of Lee Kinstle of Van Wert and the late Betty M. (Hedrick) Kinstle. On April 8, 1993, she married C. James Bilimek, who survives in Van Wert. Mrs. Bilimek was a homemaker. She graduated in the Class of 1971 at Wapakoneta High School and is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by four daughters, Emily M. Agler, Nikki L. Agler, Brittany E. Agler and Shelbi E. Bilimek, all of Van Wert; a sister, Diana "De De" (Larry) Greve of Van Wert; a granddaughter, Bailee G. Wallace of Van Wert; four nephews, Brian Greve and Brad Greve, both of Van Wert, Scott Greve of Wapakoneta and Matt Greve of Cincinnati; four great-nephews, and a great-niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Calling hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a parish wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Bilimek to the American Cancer Society and Crisis Care Line/House of Transition.
Dale F. "Jake" Jones

90, of Convoy, died at 4:14 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2003, at Convoy Care Center. He was born May 25, 1912, in Union Township, Van Wert County, the son of the late Horace H. and Nellie (Harber) Jones. On July 11, 1933, he married Pauline Josephine Slattery, who died September 9, 1995. Mr. Jones was employed for 37 years by Wayne Pump Manufacturing in Fort Wayne, Ind., and retired from General Electric Company in Fort Wayne. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. Survivors include a three sons, Trevor (Mary) Jones of Lima, Greg (Sue) Jones of Willshire and Alan (Maggie) Jones of Van Wert; five daughters, Darlene (Carl) Reid of Gilbert, Ariz., Diane (Ray) Tinnel and Paula (Dave) Sinning, both of Convoy, Kathy (John) Greenup of Hemlock, Mich., and Angie (Craig) Becher of Brentwood, Tenn.; 29 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis; one granddaughter, Mary Darlene Reid; three brothers, Harry, Cliff and Bill Jones, and five sisters, Lola Manis, Opal Clouse, LuVern Kennedy, Doris Steel and Florence Hickman. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Thomas Barrett officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy. Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a parish vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. 76, of Van Wert, Ohio died at 12:50 a.m. Monday, December 08, 2003, at home. He was born August 09, 1927, in Van Wert County, the son of the late James Artie and Gladys Hebb Keysor. On August 22, 1948, he married Dolores Burkholder, who survives in Van Wert. Mr. Keysor was a lifetime farmer in Ridge Township. He was a member of Trinity Friends Church, Gideons, Farm Bureau, He had served on the original Van Wert City-County Swimming Pool Board, member and past President of the Van Wert Lions Club where he had received the International Lions Presidents Award, Had served in various capacities on both District 13-A Governor's and State of Ohio Cabinets, was the receipient of the Melvin Jones and Dick Bryan Awards given by the International Associtation of Lions Clubs, in addition to many other Local, District, State, and International Awards, Charter member of the Mens Garden Club, received the State Farmers Degree in 1945. Survivors include two Daughters, Pamela (Denny) Bockey-Smith of Van Wert, Kristie (Jim) Pollock Snyder of Van Wert, Grandchildren, Scott (lanna) Pollock, Andrea (Dennis) Merriman, Arica Pollock (Ryan Wermer), all of Van Wert, Step-Granddaughters, Lisa and Shelly Smith of Fort Wayne Indiana, Great-Grandchildren, Katlyn, Risa, and Emma Pollock of Van Wert, Step-Great-Grandson, Isaac Smith of Fort Wayne Indiana, one Sister, Pauline (Galen) Kundert Gamble of Van Wert, three Brothers, Wayne Keysor and Kenneth (Arlene) Keysor of Van Wert, Donald (Betty) Keysor of California. He was preceded in death by a Infant Daughter Kathy Ann Keysor, two Sons-In-Law, Rex Pollock and Thomas Bockey, one Brother, Harold Keysor, two Sisters-In-Law, Jay and Madie Keysor, one Brother-In-Law, Forrest Kundert. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller and Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Middle Point, Ohio. 75, of Van Wert, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2002, at his residence. He was born May 12, 1927, in Buffalo, N.Y. On Nov. 18, 1983, he married Joannie Hartman, who survives in Van Wert. Mr. Krywalski was a retired employee of Federal-Mogul Corp. in Van Wert. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dan, and a daughter, Pat. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. David A. Krol, beloved father, grandfather, brother, son and friend died at his mothers Van Wert home in the early morning hours of Monday, May 17, 2004.
Mr. Krol was born on July 13, 1950 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Alfons and Dolores (Matras) Krol. His mother survives in Van Wert and his father is deceased. He was the owner of Krol Siding, Ltd. He had been battling cancer since August of 1999.
He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, active in the American Red Cross, had assisted in many fund raising projects and local organizations. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Lisa) Schomaeker of Van Wert, Christina Skinner of Van Wert. Two sons: Mr. Jason (Niki) Krol of Van Wert and Paul Krol of Van Wert. Three grandchildren: Kellen Schomaeker and Bailey and Macee Krol. Four brothers: John Krol San Antonio TX--Charles Krol, Vallejo CA--Matthew Krol, Chicago, IL and Christopher (Gina) Krol, Burlington VT.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, May 20, 2004 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert with Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery Van Wert. Friends may call from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM Wednesday May 19, 2004 followed by a Rosary Service at 8:30 PM in Brickner Funeral Home Van Wert.

44, of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2002, at Home. He was born November 30, 1958, in Van Wert, the son of Gerald Cooper, who survives and the late Betty (Hartman) Cooper. Mr. Beck had been employed at Huffy Bicycle in Celina, Kennedy Mfg. in Van Wert, and most recently at Eaton in Van Wert. He was a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert. He was also a member of American Legion Post 178 in Van Wert, and Vice President of the Sons of the Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Delphos. Mr. Beck was a4 long time avid camper at Huggy Beair Campground in Middle Point. He is survived by his fiancee, Julane Fuerst of Van Wert, two sons, David Beck of Delphos, and Christopher Beck of Venedocia, Ohio, two daughters, Stephanie Beck of Venedocia, Ohio, and Rachel Albright of Effingham, IL., one grandson, Austin Albright, two brothers, Lloyd Smith of Camden, Michigan, and Bobby Smith of Michigan. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2002, 10:30 A.M. at Brickner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Baker Officianting. Internment at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio. Donald E. Smith

77, of Convoy, Ohio, formerly of Van Wert, died 7:05 A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2002, at the Convoy Care Center. He was born October 15, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio., the son of Elmer Smith and Della Pauline (Abel) Smith, both deceased. He married October 18, 1946, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to AnnaBell (McNew) Smith, who survives in Convoy. He is also survived by two sons; Jerry (Sandy) Smith; Neil Smith, both of Convoy, one daughter; Sheryl Height of Convoy, one brother; Alvin (Betty) Smith of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, one sister; Marian Stanley of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and 8 grandchildren. Affiliated with Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert. Employed as a cable splicer for the former United Telephone Company for 38 years. Mr. Smith was a Naval Veteran of WWII. He also served in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army. Following that he was a member of the Ohio National Guard for many years. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 178 in Van Wert and also the 40 et 8 of the Legion. He also a member of the VFS Post 5087 in Van Wert. For many years he umpired soft ball games.
Services will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 18, 2002, at Brickner Funeral Home, with
Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Burial at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, with Military Graveside Service by combined Honors Unit of American Legion Post 178 and VFW Post 5807
