46, of Van Wert, died Friday morning, March 7, 2003, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1956, in Lima, the daughter of Dorothy (Barker) Stocklin-Webb of Lima and the late Donald Stocklin. She married Joseph James, who survives at home. Mrs. James was a homemaker. Survivors include a stepfather, Robert Webb; a daughter, Jill Burnett of Delphos; four stepdaughters, Shannon James and Nikki James, both of Lima, Lily James of Convoy and Kenya James of Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Roslyn Howard; a brother-in-law, Dwight Howard and a half-brother-in-law, Kenny Sullivan, and five grandsons, Elliot Ainsworth, Robert Ainsworth, Nicholas Hammond, David Parsons and Tristen Parsons. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Dean Deal. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Darryl Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in Haviland. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

66, of Van Wert, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2002, at Arbors At Toledo Hospital. She was born November 18, 1935 in Luray, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert K. and Virginia E. (Mayes) Malbone, SR.. She retired from General Motors Acceptance Corp.. She was a member of the Fox Hall Baptist Church, Norfok, Virginia, the Tops Club. Survivors include one brother, Andrew K. (June) Malbone, Jr., Raleighville, Va.; two sisters, Joyce Wolford, Van Wert, Ohio and Cathy (Chris) Lester, Chesapeke, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 17th at Brickner Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Van Wert Ohio. EUGENE A FRIEMOTH

86, of Van Wert, died at 8:32 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert. He was born March 12, 1918, in Delphos, the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Rahrig) Friemoth. On July 23, 1949, he married Dorothy Burley, who survives in Van Wert. Mr. Friemoth retired as a supervisor at Borden's Foods after 34 years. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1320, both in Van Wert. He had been a member of the Van Wert Bowling Association and was league secretary for many years. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed following football (Delphos St. John's) and baseball. He had been a Little League coach in the early 1960s. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Gary Friemoth of Van Wert, David (Helen) Friemoth of Columbia, S.C., and Bruce (Becky) Friemoth of Rockford; two brothers, Elmer "Butch" (Helen) Friemoth of Elida and Don (Irene) Friemoth of Van Wert; a granddaughter, Kena King of South Bend, Ind.; two great-grandchildren, Sierra and Drey King of South Bend; two stepgrandchildren, Jason (Shannan) Font and Jamie (Mickey) Font, and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Zoey Font. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Melvin, and two sisters, Rita Kessler and Lucille Allen. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at Brickner Funeral Home, the Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. That will be followed by a military service by the combined honors units of VFW Post 5803 and American Legion Post 178, both in Van Wert, and burial in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. 83, of St. Marys, died at 12:04 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2002, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. She was born Jan. 6, 1919, in Camborne, England, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Clara (Carlyon) Roberts. On April 23, 1943, she married Robert Auld, who survives in St. Marys. Mrs. Auld was a mother and a homemaker. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, John Robert (Jean Ann) Auld of Van Wert; a daughter, Sharon (Voris) Mapes of Carlisle; a brother, Richard (Helen) Roberts; six grandchildren, Beth (Bob) Cook, Amy (Dan) Howard, Fred (Toni) McDaniel, Sammi (Kirby) Joseph, James (Ilisha) Auld and Wesley Auld; nine great-grandchildren, and a niece and two nephews, Matthew and Kristen Roberts and Timothy Roberts. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, the Rev. David Woodyard officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Dorothy M. (McNew) Diegel

79, of Delphos, died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2003, at her residence. She was born June 18, 1923, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late George and Stella Mae (Emans) Height. On July 23, 1944, she married Raymond McNew, who preceded her in death on February 15, 1986. She then married John Diegel on December 24, 1993. He survives in Delphos. Mrs. Diegel was a homemaker and a member of First Friends Church in Van Wert. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Maggie McNew of Van Wert; a stepson, Monty (Bert) Diegel of Celina; two brothers, Ted (Janette) Height and Elvin (Erma) Height, both of Van Wert, and two stepgrandchildren, Tyson Diegel and Randy Diegel. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Job Stagner officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. Calling hours are 2-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Edgar D. Schaadt

84, of Van Wert, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital. He was born February 07, 1919, in Rockford, Ohio., the son of the late Joseph and Clarice (Mann) Schaadt. He married Dorothy Schaadt (Riley), who survives. Mr. Schaadt was a graduate of the Cleveland School of Embalming. He was employed at the former Vale Funeral Home in Celina and then at the Vore Knoll Funeral Home in Van Wert. He later worked in parts inventory at the former Purdy Motor Sales in Van Wert and then at Van Wert Auto Supply. He became a route salesman for Steel Automotive Sales in Lima for many years. Following that he worked in the parts department at Delphos Chevrolet for several years, He later drove cars for Statewide Ford in Van Wert and was employed at Brickner Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Kay (Boyd) Kline of Louisville KY., a sister, Jo Samples of Van Wert OH., and a granddaughter, Dee Doss of Campbellsville KY, and five Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren, Jay D. Kline & Laura Brady, one sister, Dee Vogt. Mr. Schaadt was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert, He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Germany, a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 178 in Van Wert, a member of VFW Post 5803 in Van Wert and he served many years on the Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at Brickner Funeral Home, the Rev. Edward W. Jillson officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Mary's Ohio, with Military Graveside rites by Combined Honors Unit of American Legion Post 178 and VFW Post 5803. She was born Jan. 31, 1917, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Amber (Michael) Okeley. She married Perry Uncapher, January 30, 1959, who preceded her in death on March 09, 1995. Mrs Uncapher was a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Van Wert, Ohio. Survivors include one sister, Fern Alt Seascott, of St. Mary's, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Irvin Okeley. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 04, 2002 at Liberty Baptist Chruch in Van Wert. Internment will be in Tricker Cemetery, Salem, IN.. Calling hours will be held at Brickner Funeral Home on Friday May 03, 2002 from, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.. There will also be calling hours, 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Preferred memorial is to Liberty Baptist Church, or Donors Choice.
