Age 43, of Toledo, Ohio, died at 3:25pm July 24, 2002, at her residence. She was born April 30, 1959 in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond T. and Patty M. (Gilleispie) VanWhynsberghe Jr. who survive. Other survivors include two brothers, Danny Ray (Rose Marie) of Key West, FL., Dewey Joy (Rachel) of Van Wert. She was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Gail VanWhynsberghe. No Funeral services will be held. Arrangements by Brickner Funeral Home.
MARCILE K. TRIBOLET

94, of Van Wert, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was born January 15, 1909, in Van Wert, the daughter, of the late Daniel and Lillian (Palmer) McCollum. She first married Ray Waldron and then Chet Tribolet, both of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Tribolet had been an employee of the former DWG Cigar Manufacturing plant in Van Wert. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Klewer and Nancy (Bill) Evans, both of Van Wert; two sons, Jack (Barb) Tribolet and Gary (Eunice) Tribolet, both of Van Wert; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Derbin and Kenneth McCollum; four sisters, Nell Marvin, Norene Thomas, Elizabeth Seymore and Madge Coombs, plus an infant brother and infant sister, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, October 13th, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Sunday, October 12th, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Tribolet to the Activities Fund of Vancrest Health Care Center.
Marian L. "Marylou" Tarlton
June 20, 1932 - September 26, 2003
71, of Scott, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born June 20, 1932, in Hoaglin Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of Eugene P. and Marcile (Gause) Akom. On July 3, 1953, she married Robert E. Tarlton, who survives in Scott. Mrs. Tarlton was a homemaker and an avid camper. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Burdge of Van Wert; two sons, Kevin (Deb) Tarlton and Scott Tarlton, both of Scott; three brothers, Donald Akom and Richard Akom, both of Scott, and Daniel Akom of Marion; four grandchildren, Kandi Lautzenheiser, Joseph Tarlton, Mandi Danylchuk, Kendra (David) Wessel, and seven great-grandchildren, Harley, Alicia, Jordon, Mia, Chelsea, Gabrielle, Marcus. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Alice Mullen and Becky Ladd, and three brothers, Robert, James and Maurice "Scud" Akom. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Terry Martin officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Tarlton to the Scott EMS squad.
Margaret Carol DeWitt
January 25, 1937 - March 14, 2005
68, of Convoy, died at 1:35 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2005,at her residence.
She was born January 25, 1937, in Portland, Ind., the daughter of the late Claude and Margaret Irene (Skinner) Hilton. She married Robert E. DeWitt, who died in 1988.
Mrs. DeWitt had worked for Wal-Mart in Fort Wayne, Ind., for the past six years. She was a member of the Jennings Road Church of Christ in Van Wert and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Unit 5803, which she served as president from 1977-1989. She also volunteered the past eight years at the Fort Wayne Veterans Administration Hospital and also served as secretary, historian and junior and senior vice presidents of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Auxiliary, for which as county chairman she helped start the first health fair in Van Wert County (now know as Focus on Health). She attended Monmouth Grade School in Decatur, Ind., and Horace Mann Elementary and Van Wert High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Northwestern Business College in Lima.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Gayla) DeWitt of Topeka, Kan., Harold R. DeWitt of San Francisco, Calif., and Jonathan P. DeWitt of Convoy; two daughters, Janet E. (Robert) Coker of Payne and Suzanne Albright on Montpelier; two brothers, Robert Hilton and Richard Hilton, both of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Ruth Parsons of Van Wert and Kate Schaadt of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Jennings Road Church of Christ in Van Wert, with the Rev. David Ray officiating. There will also be a memorial service at the church by VFW Auxiliary 5803.
There will be no calling hours.
MARGARET E. ROBERTS

99, of Spencerville, Ohio, died at 8:05 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005, at Roselawn Manor in Spencerville.
She was born April 08, 1905, in Middle Point, Ohio, the daughter of the late T Walter and Mary Etta Knittle Evans. On August 24, 1924, she married Paul E. Roberts, who died April 06, 1993.
Mrs. Roberts Owned and operated the Former Van Wert Insurance Agency for 24 Years. She was a member of the Former Ridge United Methodist Church in rural Van Wert County.
Survivors include David Hays (nephew) of Spencerville, OH, Richard Evans (nephew) ,Linnfield MA- Sue Ann Shilhan, Niece, Higham, MA
She was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Blanche Evans, Mildred Evans, and Alice Hays- 4 Brothers: Curtis Evans, Paul Evans, Wendel Evans, John Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 03, 2005 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Lee officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point Ohio.
Calling hours are 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.

68, of Van Wert, died at 6:46 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Roy D. "Bud" and Norma L. (Hartman) May. On July 19, 1963, she married Donald R. Miller, who survives in Van Wert. Mrs. Miller was a retired employee of Phillips Lighting Co. and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 Auxiliary. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy "Dot" (Glenn) Mason-Markley of Van Wert; Holly Mason of St. Albans, W.Va., and Vickie (Gary) Pugsley of Gilbert, Ariz.; a son, Robert "Bob" (Angie) Mason of Convoy; one brother, Bill May of Van Wert; a sister, Ruby Fulk of Bryan; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Brickner Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial information has not yet been released. Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorial is the American Cancer Society.

85, of Van Wert, Ohio died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, January 04, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was born July 26, 1918, in Delta Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Helen Wise. On February 02, 1956, in Toledo, she married James Williamson who died in 1986. Mrs. Williamson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert. She was raiseed at teh Marsh Foundation and was a 1937 graduate of Van Wert High School. She worked several years at the former Peoples Bank in Van Wert prior to moving to Toledo and later to Lakewood, Ohio. She is survived by nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Wise Jr.. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 06, 2004 at the Scott Chapel of First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Edward W. Jillson officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River, Ohio. There are no Calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Webster to First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert Ohio.
