ZENT
Robert L. Zent, 50, of Warren, Ind., died at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Markle Health Care Center in Markle, Ind.
He was born August 1, 1953, in Cincinnati, the son of Velma (Davis) Zent, who survives in Markle, and the late Walter Zent.
Mr. Zent worked at M&S Metal in Huntington, Ind., for many years. He was a ham radio operator and was a member of the World Wide TV FM DX Association. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Kathy (John) Gordon of Muncie, Ind., and Elaine (Tony) Warren of Morrow, Ga., as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, the Rev. Joe Sumwalt officiating. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery in Venedocia.
Calling hours are 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

AGLER
Nancy A. Agler, 52, of Van Wert, died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born March 26, 1951, in Lima, and daughter of Rita (Tegenkamp) McCabe, who survives in Delphos, and the late William F. McCabe. On August 7, 1971, she married Steven A. Agler, who survives at home.
Mrs. Agler worked at Teleflex Corporation in Van Wert for eight years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and Delphos Eagles Auxiliary.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a son, Derek Agler of Van Wert; one daughter, Tricia (Terry) Myers of Ohio City; two brothers, Thomas (Kathy) McCabe of Delphos and James McCabe of Toledo, and two grandchildren, Kaleb and Tanner Myers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Father Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Saturday, 1-6 p.m. Sunday and an hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Agler to Vancrest Health Care Center's Activities Fund or Community Health Professionals in Van Wert.
SHAFFER
Corbin J. Shaffer, 4 months, of Van Wert, died at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born April 10, 2003, in Van Wert, the son of Neil and Teresa (Kreischer) Shaffer, who both survive at home.
Other survivors include four brothers, Luke, Logan, Connor and Jared Shaffer, all at home; a sister, Sierra Shaffer, at home; maternal grandparents, Max and Janet Kreischer of Van Wert, and paternal grandmother Patricia Shaffer.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Shaffer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, the Rev. Dillon Staas officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert.

BOLENBAUGH
Glen W. Bolenbaugh, 69, of Ohio City, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
He was born August 30, 1933, in Ohio City, the son of the late Clarence B. and Rea A. (Taylor) Bolenbaugh. On June 19, 1995, he married Joyce B. Bell, who survives in Ohio City.
Mr. Bolenbaugh retired from Borden's Cheese Company in Van Wert after 31 years of service. He attended Ohio City Church of God. Mr. Bolenbaugh was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Ohio City American Legion Post.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Linda (Bill) Germann of Celina; a stepson, David Stanley of Macon, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Peggy (George) Lines of Lima; a brother, Robert (Lois) Bolenbaugh of Ohio City; two sisters, Betty Archer of Van Wert and Mary Bigham of Ohio City; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Glen W. Bolenbaugh Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ohio City Church of God, the Rev. Matt Braun officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date, with military graveside services conducted by the Ohio City post of the American Legion.
Calling hours will be an hour prior to the service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mr. Bolenbaugh to the American Diabetes Association.

WOOD
Robert Jon Wood, 22, of Van Wert, died Saturday, August 23, 2003.
He was born February 6, 1981, in Van Wert, the son of Charles Wood, who survives in Homestead, Fla., and Brenda (Cantrell) Wood, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include a stepfather, John Linser Jr. of Van Wert; a stepmother, Joyce Wood of Homestead, Fla.; one son, Gavin Cross of Van Wert; two brothers, Charles "Doug" Wood II and Zachary Ryon Baker, both of Van Wert, and two sisters, Teresa Michele Wood and Ashley Denise Wood, both of Van Wert.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling hours are 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

KIMMET
Joseph A. Kimmet, 83, of Delphos, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Roselawn Manor in Spencerville.
He was born November 7, 1919, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Aloysius and Clara (Mueller) Kimmet. On May 17, 1947, he married Betty Jane (Bardo) Kimmet, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Kimmet worked for Clark Equipment for 39 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos, the Coon and Sportsman Club and the Dads Club of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035, both in Delphos. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dennis (Dianne) Kimmet, David (Deb) Kimmet and Daniel “Kermie” (Cindy) Kimmet, all of Delphos; a daughter, Deb (Dareld) Nye of Elida; three sisters, Helen (Harry) Leibrecht and Alice (Art) Bonifas, both of Delphos, and Barb (Ralph) Hohlbein of Whitehouse; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold and Carl Kimmet, and a sister, Emma Rose Kimmet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelistis Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

KILL
Armilla M. Kill, 99, of Delphos, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born October 26, 1904, in Landeck, the daughter of the late Peter and Rosina (Williams) Schwinnen. She married William Kill Sr., who died in 1959.
Mrs. Kill worked at Westinghouse during World War II and at Delphos St. John's School in the cafeteria for 21 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos and was a lifelong member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 84 in Landeck. She traveled the world and was an avid Blue Jays football and basketball fan, attending games until the age of 87.
Survivors include two daughters, Angeline (Max) Miller and Angela (Richard "Dick") Moorman, both of Delphos; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Kill Jr.; two brothers, Raymon and Aloysius "Ollie" Schwinnen; two sisters, Margaret Holtz and Edith Baroni, and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Miller and Danielle Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman and Father Robert Kill officiating. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Thursday and a CLC Service by Landeck Council 84 at 7:15 that evening.
