HARPSTER
Naomi Mae (Cotterman) Harpster, 91, of Delphos, died at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, December 7, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born August 2, 1912, in Haviland, the daughter of the late Richard and Ada (Simpson) Cotterman. On December 16, 1933, she married Clyde F. Harpster, who died July 17, 1971.
Mrs. Harpster retired from DWG in Lima and was a cook at Delphos City Schools. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Delphos and the Starr Sunday School class. She was an avid collector of antique china and crystal, enjoyed her work at church and loved her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Rodger) Wreede of Delphos; one brother, Vern Cotterman of Florida; four grandchildren, Brent Wreede, Rhonda (Carl) Grothaus, Stefanie Harpster and Kristin (Todd) Scherman, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Harpster; two brothers, Dale and Royal Cotterman, and two sisters, Ruby Rothenbuhler and Florice Stahl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, the Rev. Ron Lumm officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, at the funeral home.

BAUER
Imogene A. Dull Bauer, 85, of Bradenton, Fla., died at 4:28 a.m. Sunday, December 7, 2003, at her residence.
She was born May 16, 1918, in Payne, the daughter of the late Horace and Nannie (Stone) Spry. On February 23, 1937, she married Wilson Jennings "Bill" Dull, who died November 27, 1990. On April 17, 1996, she married Larry Bauer, who survives in Bradenton.
Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker. She was a member of Ohio City United Methodist Church and attended Oneco United Methodist Church in Oneco, Fla.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, James W. (Barbara) Dull and Harold W. (Connie) Dull, both of Ohio City, and Kenneth L. (Karen) Dull of Powell; a daughter, Cindy (John) Gardner of Dahlonega, Ga.; four stepchildren, Deb (Larry) Carmack of Bolingbrook, Ill., and ByVonda (Frank) Thomas, Mary Jean Daunoras and Eric (Rhonda) Bauer, all of Anderson, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 9 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, William H. "Bill", Harold J. Cletus N. and Charles E. Spry; five sisters, Effie May Spry, Alta Wann, Thelma Fauley, Marguerite Schaadt and Lois Finsterle, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 12, at Ohio City United Methodist Church, with Pastors Jim Robbins and Mike Waldron officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.

KEYSOR
Dale L. Keysor, 76, of Van Wert, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2003, at his residence.
He was born August 9, 1927, in Van Wert County, the son of the late James Artie and Gladys (Hebb) Keysor. On August 22, 1948, he married Dolores Burkholder, who survives in Van Wert.
Mr. Keysor was a lifetime farmer in Ridge Township. He was a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, Gideons International and the Van Wert County Farm Bureau. He had served on the original Van Wert City-County Swimming Pool Board and was a member and past president of the Van Wert Lions Club, where he had received the International Lions Presidents Award and had served in various capacities on both the District 13A governor's and Ohio state cabinets. He was the recipient of the Melvin Jones and Dick Bryan awards given by Lions Club International, in addition to many other local, district, state and international awards. He was a charter member of the Van Wert Men's Garden Club (now Gardeners of Van Wert County) and received the State Farmers Degree in 1945.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Denny) Bockey-Smith and Kristie (Jim) Pollock-Snyder, both of Van Wert; a sister, Pauline (Galen) Kundert Gamble of Van Wert; three brothers, Wayne Keysor and Kenneth (Arlene) Keysor, both of Van Wert, and Donald (Betty) Keysor of California; three grandchildren, Scott (Lanna) Pollock, Andrea (Dennis) Merriman and Arica (Ryan Wermer) Pollock, all of Van Wert; two stepgranddaughters, Lisa and Shelly Smith of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Risa and Emma Pollock, all of Van Wert, and a stepgreat-grandson, Isaac Smith of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Ann Keysor; two sons-in-law, Rex Pollock and Thomas Bockey; a brother, Harold Keysor; two sisters-in-law, Jay and Madie Keysor, and a brother-in-law, Forrest Kundert.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller and Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, at the funeral home, where a Lions Club memorial service will be held at 8 that evening.

LINTON
Vickey Lou Linton, 58, of 1254 S. Shannon St., Van Wert, died at 11:37 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1945, in York Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of Lewis and Elizabeth "Betty" Linton, who survive in rural Van Wert.
Miss Linton worked at several nursing homes in the Van Wert area and also as a dental assistant in Decatur, Ind., for several years. She was a 1963 graduate of VanDel High School and attended nurse's training and dental assistant training in Elkhart, Ind.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Rose Mary (David) Engel of Asheboro, N.C.; one brother, Kenneth David (Judy) Linton of rural Van Wert; five nieces and nephews, Michelle (Billy) Tompkins and Phillip (Liz) Engel, Elizabeth (James) Gray, all of Asheboro, and Matthew (Tara) Linton and Jennifer Linton, both of the Van Wert area; six great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
There will be no viewing or services, and Miss Linton's body is being donated to science.
Arrangements were made by Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
REED
Cleo Lucille Reed, 88, of Rockford, died at 3:37 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born March 19, 1915, in Black Creek Township, Mercer County, the daughter of the late Merle and Hazel (Stover) Yocum. On April 4, 1948, she married Ulysses Grant Reed, who died October 4, 1978.
Mrs. Reed and her husband served in The Salvation Army for 20 years before retiring to Rockford. She had been an active volunteer at several area nursing homes and was a Sunday School teacher and helper at New Horizon Church in Rockford.
Survivors include a sister, Doris Piper of Rockford; nine nieces and nephews and their spouses; 14 great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Lee Yocum and George John Yocum.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 11, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Robert Loar officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, at the funeral home.

VASQUEZ
Elisabeth K. Vasquez, 84, of Delphos, died at 7:21 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2003, at her residence.
She was born March 7, 1919, in Hesseldorf, Germany, the daughter of the late Peter and Maria (Kline) Kramer. In 1955, in Maria Himmelfart Catholic Church in Washtersbach, Germany, she married Lasaro R. Vasquez, who survives in Delphos.
Mrs. Vasquez was a homemaker. She loved bingo and playing Skip Bo with her granddaughter and loved all her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Peter (Jeanenne) Vasquez of Delphos and Wolfgang (Marogret) Kramer of Altenstad, Germany; a daughter, Rosemarie Pimple of Munich, Germany; two sisters, Maria K. (Carl) Hill and Helga (Veron) Gehart, both of Germany; a brother, Hans (Ann) Kramer of England; five grandchildren, Lotha, Monfort and Bernad Kramer and Siliva and Mitchie Pimple; two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Patricia Vasquez; and two great-great-grandchildren Troy David Smith and one great-great-grandchild in Germany (name unkown).
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alama K. Kramer, Lidia K. Kramer and Margrete K. Hesseldorf, and three brothers, Konard, Joseph and another brother (name unknown) who was missing in action in the East Zone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, at St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:45 that evening.

PEASE
Robert Leon Pease, 55, of 504 Center St., Van Wert, died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born March 31, 1948, in Grover Hill, the son of the late Robert E. and Mary Elizabeth (Roberts) Pease. On September 7, 1977, he married Gay Allen Burnett, who survives at home.
Mr. Pease worked as a laborer at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. He was a member of the Pentecostal Bethlehem Tabernacle Church of Van Wert.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Timothy Allen Pease of Van Wert; one daughter, Chasity Lynn Maroney of Van Wert; three sisters, Penny (Russell) Wiles and Marcella (Charles) Wiles, both of Van Wert, and Linda (Harold) Hill of Middle Point, and two grandchildren, Harley and Chris Maroney.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale E. Pease, and one sister, Ada Adell Murray.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 12, at Pentecostal Bethlehem Tabernacle Church in Van Wert, the Rev. Russell Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
