TEMAN
Terry "Skeeter" Teman, 49, of Delphos, died at 1:58 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2003, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1953, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Cleo "Benny" Franklin and Esther Coleen (Best) Teman. On July 28, 1996, he married Donata "Dee" Rejmak, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Teman worked at Kill Brothers as a welder. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. He was also an active member of the Delphos Bass Club and loved to fish in bass tournaments.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David Teman of Delphos; three daughters, Terry Dian Ditto of Delphos, Dawn Delores Fain of Tampa, Fla., and Samantha Jean Teman of Delphos; a brother, Butch (Charlene) Teman of Delphos; two sisters, Skip (Chuck) Bardo and Susan Teman, both of Delphos, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Teman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

DAVIS
Thomas R. Davis, 65, of Kenton, died at 4:53 pm. Friday, February 14, 2003, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 20, 1937, in Van Wert, the son of the late Robert and Ester (Dempsey) Davis. On April 4, 1966, in Crown Point, Ind., he married Donna Zinsmeister, who survives in Kenton.
Mr. Davis was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict and also served in the Ohio National Guard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Thomas (Roberta) Davis and Robert (Jean) Davis, both of Van Wert, Glenn (Teresa) Dunlap of Ohio City and Kevin (Tari) Davis of Marengo; two daughters, Tammy (Jeff) May of Van Wert and Samantha (David) Davis Hudson of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Betty Dunlap of Grover Hill and Dorothy (Bill) May of Van Wert; one brother, Bill (Sandra) Davis of Haviland; one brother-in-law, Ed Bennett of Indiana; 23 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert F. and Forest Vernon Davis; two sisters, Mable Shaw and Janet Bennett; a stepfather, Glen Bell, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home in Kenton, the Rev. William Koppert officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home, where Amvets Post 1994 will conduct military services.
ADKINS
Nannie H. (Tope) Adkins, 76, of Oakwood, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2003, at Harborside in Defiance.
She was born April 29, 1926, in Oak Hill, the daughter of the late Archie Edgar and Edna Earle (Smith) Tope. On May 1, 1945, she married Carl Duane Adkins, who survives in Oakwood.
Mrs. Adkins was a homemaker and a private duty caregiver. She loved to quilt and enjoyed scrapbooking and flowers. She was a member of Old Regular Baptist Northern Little Dove Church in Pierceton, Ind., since 1976.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard (Bonnie) Adkins and Harold (Kitty) Adkins, both of Oakwood, Howard (Doneta) Adkins of Melrose and Gregory (Kathy) Adkins of Cecil; four daughters, Karen (Francis) Aldred and Carol (Greg) Jeffery, both of Paulding, Sharon (Hobert) Newsome of Oakwood and Barbara (Joseph) Carlisle of Mark Center; two sisters, Doris Roach and Nova Lovett; 20 grandchildren; 30 stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Madden and Ruth Adkins; one grandchild, John Clinton Parrish, and a stepgrandchild, Angel Coreen Brown.
Private family services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home in Oakwood, the Rev. Moses Griffey and Rev. Russell Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

DOUGAL
Velma E. Dougal, 86, of Scott, died at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born March 8, 1916, in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Dora (Heldner) Schaadt. On October 1, 1949, she married Harold N. Dougal, who survives in Scott.
Mrs. Dougal had been a legal secretary to several attorneys and realtors early in her career. She was also a homemaker. She belonged to Country Chapel United Methodist Church in Haviland, was a member of the United Methodist Women of the church and was a former member of the Van Wert Chapter of Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, George A. Dougal of Paulding, James H. (Jennifer) Dougal of Woodburn, Ind., and Jerry D. (Marsha) Dougal of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Paul F. Schaadt of Van Wert; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, the Rev. James Howell officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

PUTMAN
Iris Naomi Putman, 84, of Rockford, died at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, where she had been a patient since October 2000.
She was born October 15, 1918, in Blackcreek Township, one mile west of Chattanooga in Mercer County, the daughter of the late Curtis and Marguerite (Heffner) Roebuck. On December 20, 1952, she married Eugene Louis Putman, who survives.
Mrs. Putman had lived in the area her entire life and was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Paul (Nancy) Roebuck of Dayton, Nev., and Jerome (George) Roebuck of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Bonnie Kolter of Dayton, Nev., and Mary (James) Read of Corveta, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Shirley Roebuck of Celina, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Tommy and James Roebuck.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mike Berne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

MUSSER
Eva M. Musser, 72, of Delphos, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at her residence.
She was born April 22, 1930, in Lima, the daughter of the late Bryan and Margaret (Smith) Kaverman. On October 17, 1953, she married Bernard Musser, who survives in Delphos.
Mrs. Musser worked many years as a registered nurse at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, then retired from Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and was a graduate of St. John's High School and St. Rita's School of Nursing. She enjoyed playing cards and watching and feeding birds.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael (Suzy) Musser of Key West, Fla., and Mark (Amy) Musser of Delphos; a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" (Patrick) Beuchel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Steven (Sandra) Kaverman of Truckee, Calif., a sister, Joann (Jack) Watson of Allentown, Pa., an uncle, Hank Smith of Lantana, Fla., and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Burkeholder.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and a rosary service at 7 p.m.

WILHELM
Janet E. Wilhelm, 64, of Delphos, died at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born August 9, 1938, in Delphos, the daughter of Pauline Maddox of Delphos and the late Marion Moyer. On February 8, 1958, she married Roger Wilhelm, who survives in Delphos.
Mrs. Wilhelm was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, sporting events and loved helping her grandchildren. She was a person who always volunteered to help anyone in need. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and headed up the Canal Days quilt show. She was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School in 1956.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by four sons, Randy (Ruth) Wilhelm, Russ (Sandi) Wilhelm of Fort Jennings and Jerry (Annette) Wilhelm and Daniel (Tina) Wilhelm, all of Delphos; four daughters, Linda (Terry) Johns and Sharon Kay (Greg) Gossman and Diane (Dave) Kill, all of Delphos, and Elaine (Jeff) Gerding of Glandorf; one sister, Marian Carol (Ray) Byrnes of Frankford, Ind., and 17 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Moyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
