SALAZAR
Narcisa Adella Salazar, 88, of Van Wert, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
She was born October 18, 1914, in San Louis Positi, Mexico, the daughter of the late Fermin and Luz (Banda) Nieto. She married Pedro Salazar, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Rudolph Salazar of Deerfield, Ill.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Felix Salazar.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Brickner's Funeral Home in Van Wert.
RYBICKI
Bruno L. Rybicki, 83, of Delphos, died at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born May 17, 1920, in Butternut, Wis., the son of the late Frank and Katie (Kienszkonski) Rybicki. On August 23, 1941, he married Leota P. Bryan, who survives.
Mr. Rybicki was a Chicago police officer who retired at age 59 with 32½ years of service. He has served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a tail gunner and received the FAME ribbon with six Bronze Stars, Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal and two Purple Hearts. He was a member of First Assembly of God and was baptized into the church on December 12, 1993.
Other survivors include a son, Robert (Georgeanne) Rybicki of Romeoville, Ill.; one daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Howell of Celina; two brothers, Walter (Joan) Rybicki and Harry Rybicki, both of Chicago; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos, the Rev. Dan Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mr. Rybicki to First Assembly of god or the American Cancer Society.
BARNES
Ruth A. Barnes, 74, of Van Wert, died at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2003, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born July 15, 1929, in Union Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Helen M. (Simmons). On September 11, 1948, she married Charles O. Barnes, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Barnes formerly worked at McCoy's Flowers in Van Wert and retired from the Van Wert County Engineering Department after 22 years of service. She was a graduate of Union Township High School and Warner's Beauty School in Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Ohio Public Retirees Inc. and also an honorary member and past president of the County Commissioners and County Engineers Clerks Association of Ohio. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Edward C. (Cathey) Barnes and Robert L. (Kay) Barnes, both of Van Wert; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle W. Mathews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, the Rev. Rev. Richard Birk, assisted by Rev. Bill Hanlon. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home.

GOEDDE
Gwendolyn "June" Goedde, 73, of Lima, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003, at Lost Creed Care Center in Lima.
She was born May 18, 1930, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Carl and Guila Mae (Fritz) Brown. She was united in married to Ralph W. Goedde, who died August 2, 1998.
Mrs. Goedde was a homemaker and loved her children.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Goedde and Jerry Goedde, both of Lima, and Dennis (Brenda) Goedde of Cypress, Texas, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Goedde.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Ron Lumm officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are from 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

JOHNSON
Lois T. Johnson, 90, of 14668 U.S. 127 South, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born February 23, 1913, in Schou, China, the daughter of the late Rev. Frank H. and Elsie (McKenzie) Throop. On July 17, 1943, she married James P. Johnson, who survives at home.
Mrs. Johnson retired as a high school teacher at Ohio City-Liberty High School after 37 years teaching English, French and Latin. She was a 1930 graduate of Columbus Central High School and attended two years at the College of Wooster before graduating from Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts degree. She also did graduate work at Wright State University. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert, serving as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and as a member of its Women's Association. She was a member of Van Wert County Hospital's Twig II group and of the Retired Teachers Association and a former member of Hyler Chapter 432, Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Elaine Johnson, who died January 28, 1993, and three brothers, Dr. Harry Throop, Frank H. Throop and Glenn H. Throop.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Edward W. Jillson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

FEIGH
Richard D. "Dick" Feigh, 74, of Delphos, died at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at SCCI in Lima.
He was born July 16, 1929, in Lima, the son of the late Ralph Raymond and Florence Jeanette (Querry) Feigh. He was united in marriage to Ann Elizabeth Landau, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Feigh retired from the old Lima State Hospital. He was a member of Delphos Eagles Aerie 471, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035 and Lima VFW Post 96 and the Delphos American Legion. He was vice president of AFSCME Union Retirees Subchapter 123 and was past president of the union. He was a 1947 graduate of Lima South High School and loved to read, watch NASCAR races and play cards and word puzzles. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a military policeman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven (Janet) Feigh of Lima; two daughters, Susan (Steve) Heiing of Delphos and Sharon Feigh of Yucca Valley, Calif.; one brother, Ralph (Ruthie) Feigh of Lucernne, Calif.; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, with full military graveside rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.
Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a VFW service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday.
HEYSER
Robert W. "Bob" Heyser, 79, of Delphos, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
He was born October 26, 1923, in Delphos, the son of the late Oscar and Florence (Banzhaf) Heyser. On June 18, 1960, he married Lola M. Vazquez, who died November 28, 1992.
Mr. Heyser worked for the Lima Tank Plant and Neon in Lima and New Delphos Manufacturing. He was a member of St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos. He enjoyed NASCAR auto racing and was a big fan of Cincinnati Reds and University of Notre Dame sports.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia (Heyser) Patton of Delphos; one niece, Pamala (Patton) Meyer of New Mexico; four great-nephews and great-nieces, Kimberly Page, Jason Meyer, Heather Meyer and Amanda Meyer, and very close friends, Lawrence and Rosie Hilvers of Delphos and Keith Hilvers, Sherry Etzkorn and Beverly Maag.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orbin and Russel Heyser, and a sister, Madona Heyser.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Cemetery in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating.
Calling hours are 9-11 a.m. Monday at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos.
