KILLBUCK -- Virginia Chaney, 52, of Killbuck, died Wednesday afternoon, March 10, 1999, at Altercare of Millersburg, after an extended illness. Services will be Saturday at 9 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Chick Chanay officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born June 10, 1946 in Millersburg to Fred and Mary (Miller) Weaver and married Ronald A. Chaney. He died in July of 1994. Surviving are sons, Richard A. Chaney and Ronald A. Chaney Jr., both of Killbuck; two grandchildren; sisters, Patricia of Ravenna and Phyllis of Columbus; brothers, Gary Weaver of Killbuck and Gene Weaver of Millersburg; and a special friend, James Beckett of Killbuck.

ORRVILLE -- Owen Lester Bender, 73, 735 S. Main St., died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at University Hospitals of Cleveland, after a long period of declining health. Memorial services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, with the Rev. Randall Gehres officiating. Private burial of the cremains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ United Church of Christ, 301 N. Main St., Orrville 44667. Owen was born April 28, 1925 in Accident, Md., to Mahlon and Elizabeth (Handwerk) Bender and married Mary Lou Hastings on Nov. 9, 1947 in McHenry, Md. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sandy Bender of Orrville and Russell and Cathy Bender of Canton; granddaughters and their husbands, Renee and Jody Troyer of Shreve and Tacy and Jim May of Canton; a great-grandson, Trey Owen Troyer; four step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude and Viola Bender of Colorado, and Walter and Alice Bender of Winder, Ga.; and sisters, Sarah Yoder of Orrville, Velma Miller of Berlin, Olive Bender of Accident, Md., and Mable West of Canton.

Surviving are children and their spouses, Sandy and Jim Steiner and Richard and Charlene Lance, all of Orrville and Walter and Norma Lance of Aurora, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenna Wertz and her husband, Richard, of Marshallville.

SHREVE -- Mable Esther (Ford) Brady Stewart, 75, of 355 Old Centerville Road, Shreve, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, March 10, 1999, at her home, following a short illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, with the Rev. Christopher Stewart officiating. Burial will be at the Nashville Cemetery. Box 108, Millersburg, Ohio 44654. She was born March 25, 1923 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, and was the daughter of Everett and Lena (Finchman) Ford. On Nov. 2, 1940 she married Clivie Brady and from that marriage were born seven children, Catherine (Brady) Jenkins of Cox Mills, W.Va., Robert Brady of Shreve, Ohio, Bill Sapp of Grassaway, W.Va., David Brown of Charleston, S.C., Ronald Sears of Wilsonville, Ala., John Brady of Nashville, Ohio and Evelyn (Brady) Green who died previously. Clivie died on Jan. 24, 1951. She then married Paul Stewart and from that marriage were born four children, Susie (Stewart) Oakley of Kingsport, N.C., Barbara (Stewart) Combs of Longview, Texas, Paul Stewart, Jr. of Shreve, Ohio and Doris (Stewart) Flack of Prospect Hill, N.C.; and he died on April 5, 1991. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Sponogle of N.Y.

WEST SALEM -- Edward G. Morlock, 76, of West Salem, died Thursday, March 11, 1999 at University Hospital in Cleveland. NIAGARA FALLS -- Pearl Mohler Watts, 88, of Garlow Road, died on Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., after a brief illness. She was the sister of Maurice Mohler of Killbuck. Services were held on Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Niagara Falls. Burial was at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Chapel in Lewiston. A memorial service was held at Colonial Village Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Norman Linde officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Village Presbyterian Church, 4813 Kline Road, Niagara Falls. She was born on Aug. 4, 1910, in Killbuck to Lloyd and Hazel (Sondles) Mohler. Surviving are her husband, Walter F. Watts; two sons, James A. of Niagara Falls and Roger B. of Grand Island; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

BREWSTER -- Angelo F. Chatterelli, 79, of Brewster, died Sunday evening, March 14, 1999, in the emergency room at Massillon Community Hospital, after an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church in Brewster, with the Rev. Robert Kaylor officiating. Burial will be at St. Clement Cemetery in Navarre, where military rites will be conducted by Brewster American Legion. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster, where a rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. He was born Feb. 28, 1920 in Orrville to Joseph and Lucia (Bastardo) Chatterelli and married Josephine Musacchia on Sept. 21, 1946. She survives. Surviving are a son, Joseph Chatterelli and his wife, Shelly, of Massillon; three grandsons; sisters, Carmel Arnold of Massillon and Kate Coccia of San Gabriel, Calif.; and a brother, Matt Chatterelli of Beach City.

He was born Nov. 8, 1961 in Goldsburg, N.C., to Robert and Judith (Carafelli) Waitkunas and had made his home in Wooster, moving to Beaver Dam, Ky., 15 years ago.
