A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. CHILLICOTHE -- Margie Katherine Hartley, 73, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday afternoon, March 17, 1999, at Adena Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness. PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Orland Wade Ellis, 74, of Pensacola, Fla., died Saturday, March 6, 1999. Services were held on March 10 with the Bishop Laws officiating. Burial was in Pensacola. MILLERSBURG -- Murray J. Gerber, age 81, of 189 W. Jones St. Millersburg, Ohio, died Thursday March 18, 1999, at the Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Monday at the St. Johns Church of Millersburg, with the Rev. Kenneth Walther officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Winesburg, Ohio, with military services being conducted by the Millersburg American Legion Post 192. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio and one hour prior to services at the church. He was born Dec. 6, 1917 in Apple Creek, Ohio and was the son of Simon A. and Verena (Amstutz) Gerber. On Aug. 5, 1945 he married Evelyn Weiss and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children and their spouses, Michelle Pingley, Bob and Rita Gerber and Mike and Shirley Gerber, all of Millersburg, Ohio and Brenda and John Osburn of Raleigh, N.C.; four grandchildren Jason Brooks, Aaron and Amy Gerber and Jenny Gerber; two step grandchildren Lee and Logan Osburn; two great-grandchildren Ricky and Reilly Guerra; two brothers Victor Gerber of Dalton, Ohio and Richard Gerber of Kidron, Ohio and a sister Corrine Kriehler of Reedley, California.
Harry Olewiler
ASHLAND -- Harry E. Olewiler, 94, of 1081 Ashland County Road 2075, died Friday morning, March 19, 1999, in Brethren Care Center, after a long illness. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, 1195 Township Road 1506, Ashland, with the Rev. Ivan Beatty officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville. Friends may call Monday from 10-11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements are being handled by Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville. He was born May 17, 1904 in York County, Pa. to William and Ivy Mae (Fake) Olewiler and married Frances Beecher on Feb. 12, 1944. She died on Aug. 19, 1998. He is survived by four sisters-in-law, all of Ashland and by several nieces and nephews.

TOWNVILLE, Pa. -- Susie Horst, 91, of 16362 Drake Hill, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at the home of her daughter, Emma Eberly, following a long illness. Burial will be at Blooming Valley Mennonite Fellowship Cemetery in East Mead Township, Crawford County. She was born on Sept. 28, 1907 to Ephraim Good and Emma (Imhoff) Good and married Clarence K. Horst on Dec. 1, 1929. He died on June 24, 1998. COSHOCTON -- Wayne Nels "Bunk" Rawn, age 63, of 44918 County Road 19, Coshocton, Ohio died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at his home. He was born May 25, 1935 in Tyler, Texas and was the son of Henry and Lavergne (King) Rawn. On Oct. 22, 1955 he married Lorna Ricard and she survives. Troyer on Nov. 25, 1982 in Ducksberry, Mass. He survives. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Melissa D. and Karlee E. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary (Linda) Harris of Napier, W.Va., Larry (Nely) Harris and Dan Harris, all of Wooster, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. William (Karen) Bright and Mrs. Randy (Marcia Kay) Wharton, all of Wooster; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

On Nov. 29, 1958, she married Clarence "Tubby" Zincke. He died March 9, 1986. Surviving in addition to her daughter are four other children, Patricia Todd of Apple Valley, Calif., Shirley Regan and her husband, Paul, of Ashland, Sandra Mosser of Golden, Colo., and Ronald Shinabarker and his wife, Ruth, of Mansfield; stepchildren and their spouses, Joanne and John Sears of Bucyrus and Robert and Janet Zincke of Houston; 22 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, Herb Witmer of Ashland; and a sister, Donna Kuhn, and her husband, Robert, of Shelby.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters and their spouses, Lynn and Richard G. Baker of Shreve and Sue Ann and Donald L. Adams of Wooster; grandchildren, Michael G. Baker and Jennifer L. Baker; and two step-grandsons, Shawn and Chad Adams.
