LOUDONVILLE --Jean Hoskins, 81, 114 W. Burwell Ave., died Saturday morning, Oct. 28, 2000, at Samaritan Regional Health System, after a brief illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville with the Rev. Howard Horton officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 124 S. Market St., Loudonville 44842.
She was born Oct. 3, 1919, in Vinton County to Luther and Caroline (Arbaugh) Perry and married Arthur Hoskins. He died Nov. 4, 1984.
Surviving are sisters, Eva (Alph) Crego of Grove City and Bertina Hester Daft of Lancaster.

Larry Musselman
WOOSTER -- Larry D. Musselman, 53, 1685 Hickory Lane, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at his home.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Nathan Ward officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Wooster to Ralph and Kathleen (Fordyce) Musselman.
Surviving are a sister Shirley (John) Flanagan of Wooster; a niece, Jennifer Flanagan; and his fiance, Judy Adams of Wooster.

Virginia Thomas
WOOSTER -- Virginia Thomas, 55, 264 S. Buckeye St., died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, after a long illness.
There will be no services or calling hours. Her body has been donated to the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, at her request.
She was born Nov. 17, 1944, to Murray and Dorothy Newbury.
Surviving are sisters, Juanita (Bob) Felton of Byesville, Janet McIntire of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Patricia Lloyd of Wooster; a brother, James (Bobbi) Newbury of Wooster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eunice Peet
LAFAYETTE -- Eunice L. Peet, 67, of Lafayette died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Medina General Hospital.
She was the mother of Tony L. (Karen) Peet of West Salem and Richard E. Peet of Lodi.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi with Pastor David Zammert officiating. Burial will be at Chatham Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born April 4, 1933, in Pittsburg, Ga., to Laurence C. and Mildred M. (Smith) Wetherbee and married Herbert W. Peet on Oct. 18, 1952. He died in 1986.
Other survivors include children, Rebecca L. (Daniel) Bailey, Herbert W. Peet and Willis L. (Carol) Peet, all of Spencer, and Eric S. Peet of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sisters, Lois M. Thompson and Judy A. Guerra, both of Elyria.

Dorothy Kurimski
SEVILLE -- Dorothy M. Kurimski, 56, 9777 Wooster Pike, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Medina General Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Jesus Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 7230 Lake Road, Chippewa Lake, with Father Ron Bryda officiating.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Help Christian Parish, 9608 Norwalk Road, Litchfield 44253.
She was born Feb. 5, 1944, in North Braddock, Pa., to John and Helen (Sulinchek) Yager and married Stephen Kurimski Jr. on Oct. 29, 1966. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Amy (Michael) Allen of Creston, Stephen (Lori) Kurimski III of Austintown, Robert A. Kurimski of Wooster and Brenda Kurimski of Kent; four grandchildren; her mother of North Versailles, Pa.; a brother, John Yager of Parma; and sisters, Patricia Kaufman of North Huntington, Pa., and Beverly Moody of North Versailles, Pa.

'Frank' Koons
DOYLESTOWN -- Frances C. "Frank" Koons, 74, of Doylestown, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at his home.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown with Father David McCarthy officiating. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home, where the rosary will be held at 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service of Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
He was born March 14, 1926, in Cresson, Pa., to Chester L. and Collete (Long) Koons and married Betty A. Boyd on Jan. 5, 1948. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Susan (Joe) Hedrick of Barberton, Patricia (Denis) Petit of Doylestown, Mary J. (Mel) Balas of Clinton, Thomas (Sandra) Koons of Mechanicstown and Lawrence (Diane) Koons of North Lawrence; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.

Sarah Wachter
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Sarah (Evans) Wachter, 75, of Cuyahoga Falls, formerly of Wooster, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000.
Memorial services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls.
There will be no calling hours.
The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333; or to Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born in Cleveland to Morgan and Zoe Evans and was raised in Wooster.
Surviving are children, Steven (Bonnie) Wachter of Fairlawn, Scott (Linda) Wachter of Harrisonburg, Va., and Susan (Charles) Gaskill of Worthington; and eight grandchildren.
Her husband, Gordon Wachter, died previously.

Mary Alexander
WOOSTER -- Mary Carolyn (Edwards) Alexander, 68, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, left us all to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, during treatment at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ken Scheck officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster (330-262-7771), is handling arrangements.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Mary Alexander Memorial Fund, in care of Salem Lutheran Church, 4873 Cleveland Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born March 19, 1932, in Croton to Leslie Melvin and Helen Awilda (Mathews) Edwards. She married Loran Dale Alexander in 1953. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Robert "Bob" Alexander of Key West, Fla., Loralea (Mark) Ewing of Seville, Sue Haumesser (Leo Miller) of Wooster and Colleen Alexander of Powell; grandchildren, Donald Abernathy III, Brandon, Derek and Brittany Haumesser, Tyler and Amanda Ewing; and a sister, Margaret (Boyd) Wilson of Blacklick.

Theresa Torlone
BECKLEY, W.Va. -- Maria Theresa (Nolletti) Torlone, 85, of West Locust Drive, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, in a hospital in Beckley, W.Va., after a long and full life, on her daughter's birthday.
A Funeral Liturgy was celebrated Saturday, Oct. 14, at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Peggy Hughes was soloist. The Rite of Committal followed at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum A, Beckley, W.Va.
Pallbearers were Earl Carter, Ronnie Hughes, Rob Rappold, Eddy Ford, Ramon Jereza MD, Mike Massinople, Michael Misiti, Bruce Blankenship, Larry, David and Peter Roscana.
Arrangements were handled by Melton Mortuary in Beckley, W.Va.
She was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Wooster to Domenico and Olivia Nolletti.
Surviving are a son-in-law, Anthony J. Misiti Jr.; grandchildren, Lawrence Anthony (Leslie) Misiti of Beckley, W.Va., Mary Ruth Richardson Misiti of Charleston, W.Va., Patsieann Theresa Misiti of Alexandria, Va., Anthony John (Elizabeth) Misiti II of Houston, Texas, Paula Marie Misiti (Alan) Hall of Seattle, Wash., and Vincent Stephen (Marianne) Misiti of Mentor; 17 great-grandchildren; honorary grandchildren, Stephanie and Ashley Liu; sisters, Dorothy (Nolletti) Rayburn and Angelina (Nolletti) Zappala; a brother, Umbert Nolletti; her caregivers, Margaret and Marie Farmer, Linda Hylton, Karen Kruchek, Yvonne Martin, Margaret Pack and Jane Hancock.
Her husband, Lorenzo Torlone, died previously.

Clair Geiser
WOOSTER -- Clair L. Geiser, 75, 2770 Winchester Woods, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at West View Manor.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Dave Lawson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Brethren Church, 1924 Burbank Road, Wooster; or to American Heart Association, Wayne County Branch, P.O. Box 267, Wooster 44691.
He was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Wayne County to David and Etta (Gerber) Geiser and married Martha Lehman on March 6, 1948. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Lavonne (Ronald) Dunn of Wooster; brothers, Lloyd Geiser of Pennsylvania, Roy (Zella) Geiser of Wooster, Dennis (Deanna) Geiser of Kidron and David Geiser Jr. of Apple Creek; and sisters, Anna Neuenschwander and Verna Snyder, both of Orrville, Ella (Doyle) Amstutz of Apple Creek, Laura Tennefoss of Delaware and Don (Roberta) Christner of Oregon.

Sarah Yoder
ORRVILLE -- Sarah M. Yoder, 88, 1923 W. High St., died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at Doctors Hospital in Massillon, after a short illness.
Services will be Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God in Orrville, with Pastor Scott Brown officiating. Burial will be Saturday, Nov. 4, at Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland, Md.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Assembly of God, 2061 Wadsworth Road, Orrville 44667.
She was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Accident, Md., to Mahlon and Elizabeth (Handwerk) Bender and married Elmer J. Yoder on Sept. 12, 1937, in Accident, Md. He died Feb. 20, 1967.
Surviving are children, Carl (Janet) Bender of Canton, Loyal (Becky) Yoder, Lorretta Kitzmiller and Esther (Gary) Lawrence, all of Orrville and Shirley (Bradley) Lehman of Dalton; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Claude (Viola) Bender of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Walter (Alice) Bender of Winder, Ga.; and sisters, Velma Miller of Berlin, Olive Bender of Accident, Md., and Mabel West of Canton.

Ruth Mann
WOOSTER -- Ruth L. Mann, 86, formerly of East Lincolnway, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville.
Graveside services will be Friday at 5 p.m. at Reedsburg Cemetery, with the Rev. Russell King officiating.
There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis &l Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born Oct. 16, 1914, in Wooster to Herman and Reah (Fornshell) Avery and married W.O. Mann. He died Aug. 8, 1979.
Surviving are children, William G. Laper of Wooster and Amelia Mae Holm of Apple Creek; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Naomi Ford and Frances Taylor, both of Newark.

Thomas Younkin
ASHLAND -- Thomas "Tom" Younkin, 72, County Road 1095, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2000, at his home from natural causes.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Sanford Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland.
The family suggests contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity; Dale-Roy School; Cleveland Clinic Foundation; or a charity of the donor's choice.
He was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Fayette County, Pa., to Otto R. and Mildred Coldren Younkin and married Evelyn Metcalf on Nov. 12, 1950. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Penny Jones of Ashland, Cindy Waldrop of Pace, Fla., James (Nancy) Younkin of Bowling Green, Ky., Jack Younkin of Tampa, Fla., Jeffrey (Lynn) Younkin of Norton and Jody (Patti) Younkin of Cincinnati; and grandchildren, Heather Baum, Joshua and Caley Boley, Brooke and Chelsea Jones, Lyndsay and Christopher Younkin.

Darwin Martin
MILLERSBURG -- Darwin Henry "Pete" Martin, 66, 11430 Township Road 259, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2000, at his home after an 18-month courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Randy Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Friends may call Friday from 6-9 at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to Holmes County Hospice, 931 Wooster Road, Millersburg 44654; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
He was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Monroe Township near Welcome to Russell Marion and Dorotha (Burgett) Martin and on Sept. 2, 1960, married Catherine A. Campbell. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Rex and Bonita Martin of Blachleyville and Lisa J. and Scott Welch of Glenmont; a granddaughter, Krystalyn Nichole Martin; an expected grandchild in April; brothers, Marvin, Marion T. and Robert Allen Martin, all of Millersburg; and sisters, Mrs. Earl (Jean) Frederick of Wooster, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Moore and Mrs. Kenneth (Linda) Spurgeon, both of Millersburg.

Dorothy McConnell
ASHLAND -- Dorothy H. Coffman McConnell, 79, of Ashland, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was the sister of Robert Baughman of Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Heyl Funeral Home in Ashland, with the Rev. Vernon Gilmore officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at the funeral home.
She was born July 11, 1921, in Wayne County to Harrison and Laura (Gamber) Baughman.
Other survivors include sons, George Gierhart of Paris, Tenn., Bruce Gierhart of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Stephen Coffman of Kent; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Reggie Baughman of New Mexico; and sisters, Lydia Senterfit of Florida, Levina Trivette of Ashland, Ruth Marhefka and Leah Peters, both of Akron; and two stepbrothers and two stepsisters.
Her husbands, Albert Coffman and Ralph McConnell, died previously.

Herbert Rickey
CRESTON -- Herbert D. Rickey, 82, 3769 E. Sterling Road, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 24, 2000, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. James R. McComas officiating. Burial will be at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 6-9 at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, 12723 Cleveland Road, Creston 44217.
He was born Feb. 12, 1918, in Portsmouth, to Ernest Clyde and Tabiatha (Thompson) Rickey and married Sarah Lloyd on Aug. 15, 1936. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Clyde Rickey, Mary (Leonard) Pelfrey, Robert (Ginny) Rickey and Larry (Karen) Rickey, all of Creston, Ruth (William) Richmond and Roger (Brenda) Rickey, both of Rittman; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Thompson of Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Agnes Keith of Elizabethtown, Ky.
Sisters, Nina and Jessie, and a brother, James R., died previously.

Ralph Geiser
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Ralph K. Geiser, 52, of Orange Park, Fla., formerly of Wayne County, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., after an extended illness.
Memorial services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Orrville. Burial of the cremains will be at Orrville Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Wayne County, 5318 Tannerville Road, Orrville 44667.
He was born July 28, 1948, in Wooster to Donald and Lydia (Falb) Geiser.
Surviving are his parents of Orrville; sisters, Carolyn (Ralph) Keplar of Orrville and Marilyn (Jim) Scott of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Ronald (LaVera) Geiser of Kidron and Kenneth (Jackie) Geiser of Winter Haven, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

Gladys Schrock
MILLERSBURG -- Gladys Schrock, 78, of Millersburg, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, after a short illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
The family suggests contributions be made to Nashville United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 399, Nashville 44661.
She was born July 20, 1922, in Sugarcreek to Aaron and Fannie (Gerber) Miller and married Ralph D. Schrock on Dec. 31, 1948. He survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Beverly and Jerry Dunn of Columbus, Ralph and Sandra Schrock of Jamestown and Dorothy Schrock of Mansfield; grandchildren, Krista Schrock of Nashville and Kevin Schrock of Jamestown; brothers, Arden Miller of Millersburg and Kenneth Miller of Maple Heights; and a sister, Janice Strong of Columbus.
