NEW BERN, N.C. -- Barbara (Leen) Varga, 72, of New Bern, N.C., formerly of Wooster, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her residence.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Father Ernest Ruede officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

WADSWORTH -- Mary C. Earon, 79, of Wadsworth, formerly of Creston, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 21, 1921 in Madison County, Ky., to William Gobel and Viola (Bybee) Heathman.

ORRVILLE -- Gladys W. Hewett, 82, 123 Wabash Ave., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at her home after an apparent heart attack.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Orrville Mennonite Church with Pastors John and Barbara Lehman, Milo Baker and Natura Wright officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, N.Y.

Surviving are a daughter, Alice Sandra Hewett of South Bloomfield; grandchildren, Derek (Missy) Moran of Akron and Tara Moran of Elyria; and a great-grandson, Isaac Moran of Akron.
