ORRVILLE -- Fleet Berklew Brenneman, 68, son of Fleetus I. and Maxine (Wollam) Brenneman was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Canton. He died Tuesday morning, Sept. 26, 2000, at his home at 533 E. Oak St., Orrville, after a brief illness.
A devoted and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend, he is survived by his wife, Carol E. Brenneman of Orrville; daughters, Kathryn Brenneman Baron and her husband, David, of Oak Park, Ill., Paula Domini Schmid and her husband, Craig, of Canton, Lisa B. Martignetti, and her husband, Fred, of New Rochelle, N.Y., Laura Lynne Brenneman of Orrville and Joey Brenneman Waletzko and her husband, Craig, of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Emilie, Alex and Madison Schmid, Freddie and Arianna Martignetti, Daniel Baron and Hallie Waletzko; and a half-brother, Richard Brenneman of Florida.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Father Paul Wysocki officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville, where a prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Ruth Savage
COLUMBUS -- Ruth Helen (Wright) Savage, 78, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, in Columbus.
Memorial services will be Thursday at noon at Jerome United Methodist Church, 10531 Jerome Road, Jerome.

She was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Rittman.
Surviving are children, Randy (Beth) Savage, Rick (Lampoon) Savage, Russ Savage, Rodney (Laura) Savage and Peggy Lou Savage; and eight grandchildren.
Her husband, Mark A. Savage, died previously.
Ellen Charlton
SUGARCREEK -- Ellen M. Charlton, 47, of Sugarcreek, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at her home after a six-year illness with cancer.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at County Line Mennonite Church near Dalton with Ernest Steiner, David Weaver and Clarence Eberly officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

She was born Jan. 22, 1953, in Orrville to John M. and Margaret (Krider) Charlton.

ASHLAND -- Genevieve Burns, 73, of Agape Acres, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, after a long illness.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Heyl Funeral Home in Ashland, with the Rev. John T. McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Jeromesville to Frank and Helen (Jackson) Zimmerman and married Charles E. Burns on Jan. 27, 1962. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Mrs. Dean (Nellie) Wile of Wooster and Becki Bible of Lakeville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Greg (Sally) Merritt of Louisville, Ky.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

MILLERSBURG -- Charles C. Kiner, 88, of Millersburg, died Monday evening, Sept. 25, 2000, at Sunset View Nursing Home, Millersburg, after a short illness.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Paul Kandel officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Nashville to Casper and Pearl (Donley) Kiner and married Gladys Starner on Feb. 28, 1933. She died March 15, 1987.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Gerald and Elizabeth Kiner of Clark, Carol and Robert Gisinger of Millersburg and Galen and Sharon Kiner of Shreve; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Wolgamot of Millersburg; and a brother, John Kiner of Alabama.

BRINKHAVEN -- Marjorie M. Strother, 88, of Brinkhaven, died Monday evening, Sept. 25, 2000, at Holmes County Home, after an extended illness.
Graveside services will be today (Wednesday) at 3 at Union Grove Cemetery, with Steve Andrews officiating.

She was born Feb. 29, 1912, in Stillwell to Andy and Lovina (Smail) Morris and married Albert Strother on Dec. 27, 1930. He died April 7, 1970.
Surviving are children, Albert Strother of Nashville, Gene "Mick" Strother of Brinkhaven, Mrs. Richard (Sophia) Doyle of Big Prairie and Mrs. Thomas (Janie) Clark of Millersburg; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Emanuel Beachy
FREDERICKSBURG -- Emanuel H. Beachy, 76, 8595 Cutter Road, died Monday morning, Sept. 25, 2000, at his home after a four-month illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Jacob R. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Troyer Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

He was born Aug. 25, 1924, near Berlin to Henry M. and Sarah (Schrock) Beachy and married Edna E. Yoder on March 20, 1947. She survives.

MOUNT VERNON -- Carolyn Jane Zollars, 58, 911 E. High St., died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at her home after a brief illness.
She was the half-sister and half-sister-in-law of Howard and Crystal Pipes of Wooster.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Amity Cemetery, with Larry Jackson officiating.

STERLING -- Gabriel A. Lizarraga, 20, 7298 Akron Road, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Ohio 585, near Yoder Road.

He was born Jan. 5, 1980, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Cruz M. and Deborah A. (Edds) Lizarraga.

PERRYSVILLE -- Mellesant Leasure, 92, of Perrysville, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 24, 2000, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, after a six-month illness.

COLUMBUS -- Rev. Howard H. Patrick, 88, of Columbus, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at his residence.
A Memorial service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon with the Rev. Valerie Stultz officiating.

Albert Van Sickle
MILLERSBURG -- Albert Thomas Van Sickle went to be with the Lord at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2000, surrounded by his family and friends. He passed away peacefully at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the VA Hospital in Cleveland after surgery followed by a coronary heart attack.
Tom was born in Millersburg, Ohio on 28 August 1938.
Survived by daughter, Dawn M. Chamberlin of Millersburg; sons, Paul A. of Millersburg and Raymond L. of Springfield. Tom's brothers are: Robert G. (Patricia) of Merritt Island, Fla., Richard E. (Mary) of Loudonville, Charles R. (Mary) of Wooster. Sisters are: Patricia S. (Kenneth) Stephan of West Lafayette, Judith A. (Ray) Lawter of Millersburg, Sandra J. (Michael) Schmid of Berlin, Linda L. (Robert) Boyd of Kidron, Lydia J. (Walter) Ramseyer of Millersburg. Also Tom's former wife, Eva (Morris) Weese, who is mother and grandmother of all Tom's children and grandchildren. Tom's grandchildren are Nikki, Debra, Rebecca and Jennifer. Favorite aunts and uncles, Dorothy and Tom Purdy, Lucille Everhart, Helen Wetz, Jerry Didinger and Delone Van Sickle. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
Service will be by Pastor Terry E. Ruther at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery with Military rites being conducted by the Millersburg American Legion Post No. 192.

HILLSBORO -- Charles L. Riggs, 64, 6141 Miller Lane, and formerly of Rittman, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ridgewood Baptist Church in Wadsworth with Pastor Ross L. Riggs officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
