SMITHVILLE -- John Harry Conner, 90, 3426 Eby Road, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital, after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Thomas Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery.

He was born June 10, 1909, in Ripley Township, Holmes County, to Clarence and Ellie (Doty) Conner and married Ruth Parsell. She died May 14, 1970. He then married Dorothy Zurcher. She died Dec. 31, 1999.
Surviving are sons and their wives, Chester and Bonnie Conner of Loudonville and Gary and Shirley Conner of Lakeville; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and seven step-great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marguerite Eby of Smithville.
Quentin Fisher Jr.
LAKEMORE -- Quentin O. Fisher Jr., 56, of Lakemore, formerly of Orrville, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, from cancer.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, with the Rev. G. Rod Taylor officiating. Inurnment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.

He was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Santa Barbara, Calif., to Quentin O. and Edna I. Fisher Sr., and had been married to Cynthia Marie Fisher for 26 years. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Quentin O. Fisher Jr. II, Timothy and Greg Stangelo, Sondra, Monica and Heather; nine grandchildren; and brothers, Raymond and Jon.

ARTHUR, Ill. -- Emma Yoder, 87, of Arthur, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Urbana Manor Care in Urbana, Ill.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur, Ill., with the Revs. Phil Schrock and Theodore Wentland officiating. Burial will be at Arthur Cemetery.

She was born April 2, 1912 in Benton to Sam D.J. and Mary (Schlabach) Miller and married Ura B. Yoder on Dec. 23, 1932 in Benton. He died July 7, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Ada E. Wilson and her husband, John William Wilson, of Champaign, Ill.; brothers and their wives, Jake and Ruth Miller of Orrville and Eli and Amanda Miller of Millersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

CRESTON -- Rex G. McIlvaine 82, of Creston, formerly of Wadsworth, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, after a brief illness.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, with the Rev. Jonathan Knight officiating. Burial will be at South Jackson Cemetery, Creston.

RITTMAN -- Dale E. Hess, 72, 10348 Steiner Road, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 12, 2000, at his home.

LARGO, Fla. -- Albert T. Jones, 96, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Rittman, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Fla.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with the Rev. Richard A. Lapehn officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.

He was born June 24, 1903, in Barberton to Francis J. and Sarah (Wood) Jones and married Mary Jones. She died in 1981.

WOOSTER -- Patricia J. Manson, 69, 2591 Batdorf Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Austin Health Care Center.

She was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to James Blaine and Nannie (Hundly) Vicars and married Richard Manson on Jan. 24, 1948. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Sharon Morris and Shirley Mendenhall, both of Wooster; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, James Vicars of Wooster, Russell Vicars of Shreve and Ronnie Vicars of Orrville.
Norman Aylesworth
WORTHINGTON -- Norman Douglas Aylesworth, 88, of Worthington, formerly of Wooster, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at Riverside Hospital, after a brief illness.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270), where friends may call Friday from 12:30-2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Edge Dixon will officiate. Burial will be at Kingwood Memorial Park.
He was born July 19, 1911, in Big Prairie to James C. and Dora (Smetzer) Aylesworth.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Roberta Aylesworth; a son, Randall Aylesworth and his wife, Carrol, of Columbus; and granddaughters, Susan (Geoff) Retz and Laura Aylesworth, all of Columbus.
Mary Norris
DOVER -- Mary M. Norris, 98, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Country Club Retirement Center in Dover, after an extended illness.
She was the mother of Charles A. Norris of Smithville.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia, with the Rev. Donald Watson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association for research.
She was born June 25, 1901, in Keene, Coshocton County, to Charles and Harriet Pew and married Charles R. Norris. He died in 1990.

Charles Moot
CANTON -- Charles Gordon Moot, 73, of Canton, died Saturday morning, Jan. 8, 2000.
He was a hearing aid specialist for more than 50 years, having clientele in the Wooster area.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Reed Funeral Home in Canton.
He was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Richmond and Edith Moot.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Annette Moot, three children, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers.

WOOSTER -- David L. Lehman Sr., 64, 323 W. Larwill St., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at his home.

Homer Miller
WOOSTER -- Homer E. "Pat" Miller, 83, 4130 Swanson Blvd., formerly of Creston, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Smithville-Western Care Center, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Creston Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James McCurdy officiating. Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery.

Darrick Eberly
DALTON -- Darrick J. Eberly, 10-year-old son of Roger L. and Joanne M. (Steckle) Eberly, 15852 Western Road, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 12, 2000, at his home from injuries sustained in a farm accident.
Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at East Union Mennonite Church near Orrville, with Mark Good and David Van Pelt officiating. Burial will be at County Line Mennonite Church Cemetery near Dalton.

ORRVILLE -- Mabel R. Burckhart, 90, 914 McGill St., died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at her residence after a lingering illness.

WOOSTER -- Rolland A. Ross, 85, 1660 Barbara Drive, entered into rest Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 2000, in the emergency room at Wooster Community Hospital, due to declining health.
Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Wooster Mennonite Church, with Pastor Ralph Reinford officiating. Burial will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wooster.
