MARSHALLVILLE -- Bessie Miller, 95, formerly of Marshallville, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton.
Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Gresser Funeral home in Orrville, with Elmer Good and Ernest Steiner officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Marshallville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
She was born March 7, 1904, in Marshallville to Harvey and Marie (Krites) Felix and married Marion Miller on Nov. 19, 1927. He died July 27, 1997.
Surviving are daughters, Rosine and Herb Nussbaum and Jeanette and Robert Sword, all of Dalton and Mary Chapman of Doylestown; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
James Watson
LODI -- James L. Watson, 79, of Lodi, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.

He was born April 27, 1920, in Republic to Alvin and Blanche (Sietz) Watson and was married to Mollie Watson. She died in 1989.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Sharon King and Alice and Denzel Channel, all of Lodi, David and Connie Watson of Seville and John and Carey Watson of Medina; six grandchildren; a sister, Alice Neikirk of Tiffin; and a brother, Daryl Watson of Republic.

CLEVELAND -- Henry "Hawk" Gray, 86, of Cleveland, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at West Side Independent Baptist Church, 4004 Cypress Ave., Cleveland. Burial will be at West Park Cemetery.

NORTON -- William O. Stine, 89, of Norton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, with Pastor Stivers officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

He was born May 19, 1910, in Smithfield.

Eli D. Mullet
MILLERSBURG -- Eli D. Mullet, 74, 5052 Township Road 355, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at his residence after an extended illness.
Services will be Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Daniel P. Miller residence, 5024 Township Road 355, Millersburg, with Bishop Henry Beachy officiating. Burial will be at the Miller Cemetery, Mechanics Township, Holmes County.

He was born Nov. 3, 1925, in Winesburg to Dan E. and Mary Ann (Keim) Mullet and married Nettie Yoder on March 6, 1952. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Bennie E. and Esther Mullet of Millersburg, Gertie and Daniel Miller of the home and Lydia Ann and Atlee Miller of Dundee; eight grandchildren; brothers, Jonas Mullet of Dundee and Wayne Mullet of Apple Creek; and sisters, Alma Miller of Dundee and Clara Miller of Orrville.
Alice Henson
CANTON -- Alice I. Henson, 93, of Canton, died Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 2000, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster, after an extended illness.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Massillon Baptist Temple, 1219 Overlook Ave., SW, Massillon, with the Rev. Jay Dolvin officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Massillon.

She was born Feb. 14, 1906, in Holmes County to George and Anna (Shear) Kaiser and married Charles T. Henson. He died Oct. 4, 1996.

MONTCLAIR, Calif. -- John Alexander "Jack" Hutchison, 87, of Montclair, Calif., died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at U.S. Family Care Medical Center in Montclair, Calif.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Claremont Presbyterian Church, Claremont, Calif.

He was born March 2, 1912, in Cedar Grove, N.J., and was married to Julia Hutchison for 63 years. She survives.

WARSAW -- Steven Scott Akins, 18, 36230 Township Road 337, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on U.S. 36 west of Coshocton.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will be in Shepler Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and until service time on Monday.
He was born Aug. 25, 1981 in Millersburg to G. Eugene and Nancy L. (Bickel) Akins.
Surviving are his parents of Warsaw; two brothers, Doug Akins and Troy Akins of Warsaw; five sisters, Rosemary Sinnett, Karen (Dale) Dart, Roxann, Polly and Tammy Akins, all of Warsaw; paternal grandparents, W. Eugene and Rosalie Akins of Warsaw; maternal grandmother, Mary Bickel of Clark; three nieces and two nephews.

WOOSTER -- Frieda Martha Dodenhoff, 92, formerly of Avalon Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.

DALTON -- Leland Stanley Kratzer, 82, of Dalton, died Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 2000, at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a brief illness.
A Memorial service will be today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton with the Rev. Wayne Kratzer officiating. His body was cremated.

He was born June 30, 1917 near Dalton to Fred and Solome (Lehman) Kratzer and married Helen A. Aleksich on Nov. 1, 1941. She survives.

DOVER -- Ruth E. (Longworth) Ritter, 86, of Dover and formerly of North Lawrence, died Thursday evening, Jan. 13, 2000, at New Dawn Health Center in Dover, following a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, North Lawrence with the Revs. Douglas Meek and Edward Scaglione officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.

She was born April 29, 1913 in North Lawrence to Thomas and Minnie (Leisy) Longworth.

WARSAW -- Alta Mertilla Staser, 100, 539 E. Main St., died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Rev. David Dodridge officiating. Burial will be at the Blissfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1899 in Blissfield to William Albert and Artie (White) Williamson and married Walter C. Staser on June 27, 1918. He died March 18, 1981.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Shrimplin of Coshocton and Janice (David) Ulry of Upper Arlington; a son, John Staser of Warsaw; a son-in-law, Merlin L. Garver of West Salem; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was born in Butler County, Ky. to Joseph J. and Druseilla (Snodgrass) Butler and married Ora Haven on Dec. 27, 1932. She survives.

THOMASTON, Conn. -- Miriam K. (Roach) Cheek, 56, of Thomaston, Conn., and formerly of Loudonville, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at University of Connecticut Medical Center, Farmington, Conn., after a long illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville with the Rev. Terry Ruther officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 14, 1943 in Loudonville to Walter S. and Helen (Paullin) Roach and married Roy Cheek on March 30, 1963. He survives.

RITTMAN -- Wayne E. Forrer, 73, 64 Pinewood St., died Friday night, January 14, 2000, at Barberton Citizens Hospital.

He was born on May 18, 1926 in Cuyahoga Falls to Ward C. and Mollie M. (Blough) Forrer and lived in Rittman since 1950.
He married Joanne Feesler on June 18, 1949 and she survives.

She was born July 31, 1899 in Canaan Township, Wayne County to Frank and Clara (Brinkerhoff) Sell and married Ralph J. Stout on June 14, 1926. He died Oct. 19, 1985.

She was born in Lilly, Pa. Nov. 13, 1929 to Stephen and Meri (Papaji) Belshok and married Seymour J. Lautzenheiser. He died in 1994.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Chester Huth of Navarre and a stepdaughter and her husband, Bonnie and Willard Stoll of Orrville; a son, David Frederick Hahn of Portland, Ore.; four step-grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Belshock.
