MASSILLON -- Orin Dale Benson, 81, of Massillon, died Sunday evening, Feb. 13, 2000, at Massillon Community Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was the brother of Gladys Ault of Marshallville.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, with Bob Koske officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services.
He was born in West Lebanon to Lewis and Wava (Hofacre) Benson.
Other survivors include his wife, Hazel Benson; children, Michelle Woods and Mark Benson, both of Massillon; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Charles Keister
ORANGE CITY, Fla. -- Charles Brady Keister, 65, of East Holly Drive, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at his residence.
He was the brother of Earl Keister of Wooster.
Arrangements were handled by Altman-Long Funeral Homes in DeBary, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
He was born in Wilmot.

Andrew Yoder
MILLERSBURG -- Andrew E. Yoder, 88, of 6846 County Road 77, died Monday morning, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Aden J. Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Hershberger Cemetery, Saltcreek Township, Holmes County.

He was born Sept. 3, 1911, in Glendive, Mont., to Enos D. and Sarah (Yoder) Yoder and married Susie Miller on March 31, 1938. She survives.
Wanda Carey
WOOSTER -- Wanda F. Carey, 41, 1728 Neal Drive, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Ted Rust officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 7-8:30 at the funeral home, or two hours prior to the services.
She was born July 26, 1958, in Akron to Garrett and Verlie (Fuson) Wilson and married William Carey on July 12, 1992. He survives.

HINCKLEY -- Earl Howard Eberhart, 59, of Hinckley, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Southwest General Hospital.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bennett's Corners United Methodist Church, 47 West 130th St., Hinckley, with the Rev. Debra Speer-McAtee officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hinckley.

He was born Jan. 11, 1941, in Wooster to Melville and Ruby (Meyers) Eberhart and was married to Jane (Curtis) Eberhart for 36 years. She survives.

B. Calvin Lyon
OLMSTED FALLS -- B. Calvin Lyon, 47, of Olmsted Falls, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home.

WOOSTER -- Ruth S. Brubaker, 75, 4662 W. Smithville Western Road, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, after a short illness.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Chester Mennonite Church near Wooster, with Virgil Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Eight Square Cemetery near Wooster.

Ruth was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Elkhart County, Ind., to Joseph E. and Mary (Shaum) Martin and married Harvey M. Brubaker on June 1, 1946, in Elkhart County, Ind. He died Feb. 13, 1988.

AKRON -- Katharine Alexandra Therese Smith, 3-year-old daughter of Donald J. and Keri (Dillion) Smith, 1804 Canfield Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron.
She was the granddaughter of Sandra Brinkerhoff of Wooster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Akron, with Father Rob Stein officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.

BALTIC -- Edna B. Neff Blackburn, 98, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Baltic Country Manor in Baltic. She was formerly of Sugarcreek.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Barry French officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.

She was born on a farm near Baltic to Henry and Malinda (Hoobler) Gonter and married Rudolph C. Neff on Dec. 25, 1921. He died in 1949. She then married Russell M. Blackburn. He died in 1983.
Surviving are sons, James R. Neff and his wife, Edna, and William R. Neff, all of Sugarcreek; stepdaughters, Ruth Hanel of Waverly, Mary Rother of Gnadenhutten and Barbara Crow of Florida; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren; and three nephews and eight nieces.
William Spellman
CRESTON -- William E. Spellman, 79, of Doylestown Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at Medina General Hospital, after a one-year illness.

REEDSBURG -- Lavonne M. Uhler, 90, of Reedsburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1909, in Wayne County to Weldon Ross and Anna (Aber) Fishburn and married George Uhler. He died Nov. 25, 1983.
Surviving are children, Marian Cook of Polk, Janette Coe and her husband, Paul, Harriette Uhler and Rodney Uhler, all of Reedsburg and Thomas Uhler and his wife, Helen, of Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

HAINES CITY, Fla. -- Roberta Jeanne Cutter, 75, 4388 Bonnet Lake Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at her home.

She was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Wadsworth to Don K. Freed and Thelma (Rickert) Hanford, and married Ward B. Lakin on June 5, 1974. He died Jan. 6, 1993.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. LaVerne (June) Hofstetter of Dalton; a son, Ed Herr of Goshen, Ind.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, three brothers, Melvin, Emerson and Lester Hostetler, died previously.

He was born Aug. 12, 1952 in Cleveland to John and Lenora (Clasen) Francek and married Cynthia Foster on Nov. 17, 1973. She survives.
