WEST LEBANON -- Elmer E. "Sonny" Stevens, 61, of West Lebanon, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Doctors Hospital in Massillon.
Private graveside services will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton. There will be no calling hours. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, is handling arrangements.

He was born March 13, 1939 in Parkersburg, W.Va., to Irene Stevens and married Norma Lynch on Oct. 24, 1965. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Kit Stevens of Holmesville and Michelle Stevens of Akron; and eight grandchildren.
De Etta Bauman
LOUISVILLE -- De Etta I. Bauman, 76, of Louisville, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Altercare of Louisville.
She was the mother and mother-in-law of Jan and Don Duffy of Marshallville.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stier-Israel Funeral Home, 917 E. Main St., Louisville, with the Rev. Dennis Rinehart officiating. Burial will be at Marlboro Cemetery.

She was born June 12, 1923 in Akron to Alfred and Esther (Henderlong) Berger and married John A. Bauman. He died in 1983.
Other survivors include a son, John Bauman and his wife, Nancy, of Louisville; grandchildren, Holly and Adam Lewis and David Duffy, all of Marshallville, Jennifer, Laura, Brian and John Bauman, all of Louisville; and a sister, Verna Campian and her husband, Sam of Massillon.
Thomas Miller
PERRYSVILLE -- Thomas Robert Miller, 66, 932 State Route 95, died Sunday evening, March 26, 2000, at Ohio State University Medical Center after a 12-week illness.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Perrysville, with the Revs. John Bassman and Charles Carrier officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wayne County.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville.

He was born July 19, 1933 in Ashland to Robert Simon and Neva Mae (Shearer) Miller.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Weltmer) Miller, whom he married Oct. 9, 1980; children and their spouses, Thomas Wilbur and Jackie Miller and Robert Jason and Stacey Miller, all of Mansfield and Neva and Steve Meeker of Sequin, Texas; four grandchildren; a brother Wilbur Miller of Lakeville; and a sister, Pat Stitzlein of Glenmont.
Charles Nyhart
KILLBUCK -- Charles A. Nyhart, 68, of Killbuck, died Sunday afternoon, March 26, 2000, at his home after an extended illness.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, where military rites will be conducted by Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars. Father Ronald J. Aubry will officiate. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 15, 1932 in Killbuck to Forest and Helen (McKee) Nyhart and married Carolyn Collins on Sept. 17, 1955. She survives.

Wiliavean Hartsell
HOLMESVILLE -- Wiliavean Hartsell, 82, of Holmesville, went home to be with the Lord Monday afternoon, March 27, 2000, at Sunset View Nursing Home in Millersburg, after an extended illness.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Frank Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville.

She was born May 15, 1917 in Terra Alta, W.Va., to Walter E. and Myrtle (Cramer) Masters and married Howard R. Hartsell on May 12, 1934. He died Sept. 13, 1991.
Surviving are children, Irene Steele of Millersburg, Howard E. Hartsell of Beach City and Robert L. Hartsell of Apple Creek; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Masters of Hanoverton; and sisters, Mrs. Chester (Opel) Burns of Terra Alta, W.Va., and Mrs. Manley (Betty) McVay of Fredericksburg.

LAKEVILLE -- Troyles E. "Pete" Manson, 71, 13408 Township Road 473, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

He was born March 3, 1929 in Holmes County to Howard and Alta Mae (Hershberger) Manson and married Geraldine Sigler on Oct. 24, 1948. She survives.

CRESTON -- The Rev. William Thomas Mills II, 72, of Creston, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Fairview Medical Center in Cleveland.

He was born Aug. 14, 1927 in Columbus, Ga., to Fred J. and Marguerite (Sauls) Mills Sr., and married Geraldine Parr on June 10, 1954. She survives.

SUGARCREEK -- Mary Alice (Yoder) Shetler, 59, of Miller Avenue, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born July 2, 1940 in LaGrange, Ind., to William H. and Emma (Mullet) Yoder and married Vernon E. Shetler on July 2, 1966. He survives.

Ruth Smyth
WOOSTER -- Ruth B. Smyth, 97, formerly of Ihrig Avenue, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in a nursing home.
Cremation has taken place. Cremation Society of Ohio, handled arrangements.
She retired from The College of Wooster as a mathematics professor.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Klein and her husband, Chuck, of Florida; and five grandchildren.
Istvan Drotar
RITTMAN -- Istvan Drotar, 44, of Rittman, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at his home.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Hungarian Reformed Church, 2631 Copley Road, Copley, with the Rev. Tibor Domotor officiating. There will be no calling hours. Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, is handling arrangements.
He was born Aug. 24, 1955 in Hungary.
Surviving are his wife, Ildiko Drotar of Rittman; children, Steven and Andrae, both of the home; and his parents, brothers and sisters, all of Hungary.

WEST SALEM -- Frances A. Leiby, 53, of West Salem, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Lodi Community Hospital.

BURBANK -- Mary Pauline Ray, 79, 5808 Cedar Valley Road, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at West View Manor Nursing Home, Wooster.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Richard A. Graven officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 5, 1921 in Overton, Wayne County to George Albert and Viola Mae (Landaw) Hurst and married Walter Ray in 1937. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Barbara Jeffery of Wooster; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Carl E. Parcell, 53, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Monday, March 27, 2000.
He was the brother and brother-in-law of Mary and Harold Fortune of Millersburg.

He was born April 28, 1939 in Coshocton County to Fred and Mary (Schindler) Sundheimer and married Janice Lewis on March 30, 1967. She survives.

GALION -- Thelma Poulson, of Galion, formerly of Wooster, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Galion Community Hospital.

Surviving are children, Andrea Smith and her husband, Virgil, of Galion, Bob Poulson of Colorado and David Poulson of Florida; and three grandchildren.
Her husband, Clifford "Skip" Poulson and a daughter Holly Jo, died previously.

Surviving are children Trina Miller of Killbuck, Wynoka (Kevin) Kelley of Marshallville, and Dreama (Bill) Brown of Jeffersonville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Rick Ferguson of Nashville, Teresa (Bob) Mottle of Millersburg and Kathy Arnold of Killbuck, and a brother, Darrell of Rittman.
