WADSWORTH -- Donna L. Rist, 65, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
She was the sister and sister-in-law of Vonnie and Lou Beaudoin of Creston and Richard "Jack" and Virginia Boggs of Seville.
Services will be today (Saturday) at noon at Roberts Funeral Home, Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth, with Pastor Pete Drury officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
She was born Sept. 19, 1934 in Strange Creek, W.Va., to William A. and Esther (Coen) Boggs and married Albert Marlyn Rist on Oct. 2, 1954. He died previously.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Julie and Rodney Palmer-Linebaugh of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Joseph A. and Kim Rist of Englewood; four grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Reall of Wadsworth and June Keith-Molahan of Clay, W.Va.
Florence Martin
MILLERSBURG -- Florence Martin, 93, of Millersburg, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Sunset View Nursing Home, after an extended illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Millersburg Christian Church, with the Rev. David Carrick officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
She was born Oct. 13, 1906 in Killbuck to Ira and Laura (Cole) Orr and married Lovell W. Martin. He died Feb. 1, 1977.
Surviving are children, Mrs. Grover (Karolyn) Mullett and Evelyn McVay, both of Millersburg and Lovell Murray Martin of Wooster; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; and one step-great-granddaughter.
Susan Beachy
WALNUT CREEK -- Susan Beachy, 103, died Friday morning, April 14, 2000, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home, Walnut Creek, after an extended illness. She had been a resident of Walnut Hills since November 1994, and was formerly of Millersburg.
Services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the Henry C. Beachy residence, 4314 County Road 145, Sugarcreek, with Bishop Henry C. Beachy officiating. Burial will be at Troyer Cemetery, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime today (Saturday) after 2 at the Jonas A. Miller residence, 3664 State Route 39, Millersburg.

She was born Feb. 3, 1897 in Tuscarawas County to Ben C. and Lucinda (Schultz) Schrock and married Jonas J. Beachy. He died Dec. 18, 1954.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Ada and Roman Miller of Millersburg, Roman and Lizzie Ann Beachy and Henry and Fannie Beachy, all of Sugarcreek, Alvin and Anna Beachy of Wilmot, and Albert and Mabel Beachy of Baltic; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Roger Koppes
CHATHAM TOWNSHIP -- Roger H. Koppes, 72, of Chatham Township, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at his home, following a 16-month battle with cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Road, Guilford Township with Pastors Gerald Keller and Dwayne Culler officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4-6 and 7-9 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to service on Tuesday at the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Medina County Hospice, 797 N. Court St., Medina 44256.

He was born March 16, 1928 in Seville to J. Harold and LaVonne (Coolman) Koppes.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores (Burbage) Koppes; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Carol Koppes of Chatham; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Brian Ray of Chatham and Laura Koppes and Kim Bryan of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Miriam and James Taylor of Lynchburg, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Esther Koppes of Medina and many nieces and nephews.

MILLERSBURG -- Jade Victoria Jewell, stillborn daughter of Jonathan and Erica (Zedaker) Jewell of Millersburg, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

MILLERSBURG -- Yost S. Miller, 43, 5000 Township Road 311, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Akron General Hospital, after an extended illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Sharon Conservative Mennonite Church near Sugarcreek with the Rev. Wilbur Hershberger officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
Friends may call today (Sunday) from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Sharon Conservative Mennonite Church.

He was born Jan. 30, 1957 in Wayne County to Sam A. and Sarah (Yoder) Miller and married Ruth Yoder on Feb. 2, 1980. She survives.

Flora Miller
RAPID CITY, S.D. -- Flora W. (Eschmann) Miller, 86, formerly of Orrville and East Greenville, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at Beverly Health Care Meadow Brook Manor in Rapid City, S.D., after a long illness.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville, with the Rev. F.D. Donaldson officiating.

She was born Oct. 5, 1913 in Mineral City to Ludwig and Flora W. (Theas) Eschmann and married Lester D. "Jack" Miller on Aug. 28, 1945. He died June 24, 1993.

William Garman
ASHLAND -- William H. Garman, 83, 53 Harold Drive, died Saturday morning, April 15, 2000, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.
He was the brother of Catherine Shearer of Wooster.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with the Rev. Dr. Arden Gilmer officiating. Burial will be at Jeromesville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born March 22, 1917 in Jeromesville to Henry and Carrie (Newman) Garman.

His wife, Mary Alice Garman, died July 17, 1994.

LOWER SALEM -- Mary Catherine Schalmo, 84, of Township Road 252, formerly of Wooster, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
A funeral liturgy, with mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Harriettsville, with the Rev. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, where friends may call one hour prior to burial.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. and the rosary at 8:30 p.m., or one hour prior to the services at the church.

She was born March 25, 1916 in Massillon to Frederick and Florence (Boron) Konen and married Leroy C. Schalmo on May 2, 1935. He died Feb. 4, 1998.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Joseph L. and Marciann Schalmo of Ashland, Frederick C. and Molly Schalmo of Chattanooga, Tenn., Richard P. and Darlene Schalmo of Shreve, Margaret and Chester Meeker of Lower Salem and Florence and Orland Bragg of Marietta; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers and their spouses, Clement and Mary Konen of Canton and Carl and Bev Konen of Akron; and a sister, Martha Seifert and her husband, Thomas, of Massillon.
Volney Yungen
ORRVILLE -- Volney L. "V.L." Yungen, 76, 914 N. Crown Hill Road, died, Monday, April 17, 2000, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, after a period of declining health.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Christ United Church of Christ in Orrville, with the Rev. Randy Gehres officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.

He was born April 5, 1924 in Orrville, in the home where he later raised his family, to John and Rosa (Butzer) Yungen and married Rosemary Graber on Feb. 12, 1949 in Massillon. She survives.

BALTIC -- Shelby Ann Spencer, infant daughter of Brian Spencer and Tara Yoder, 32277 State Route 93, died shortly after birth Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Union Hospital in Dover.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Chuck Jarvis officiating. Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements.

Olive Lehman
NAVARRE -- Olive J. Lehman, 78, of Navarre, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Country Lawn Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
She was the sister of Edward Speicher of Dalton.

She was born April 14, 1922 in Stanwood, Stark County to Charles and Marietta (Albright) Speicher and married W. Durant Lehman. He died Sept. 11, 1999.

MASSILLON -- Henry L. Faulkner, 62, 108 18th St., SE, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
Surviving are relatives in the Wayne/Holmes county area.

APPLE CREEK -- Kay E. Hanna, 51, 110 Dogwood Circle, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

BALTIC -- Lovina J. Raber, 78, 4306 County Road 59, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at her residence after a two-month illness.
Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Mose E. Hershberger officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County.

She was born Aug. 4, 1921 in Holmes County to John D. and Mary (Yoder) Raber.
Surviving are a brother, Albert J. Raber of Baltic; and nieces and nephews.
Homor Yost
WOOSTER -- Homer P. Yost was born Aug. 3, 1919 in Burbank, Ohio, to Ray and Mabelle Yost. He passed away Monday, April 17, 2000.
He married his wife, Marjorie in 1955.
Surviving are children, Sharon Wandall, Anne Wolf and Fred Yost; and five grandsons.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Paul Thoms officiating.
There will be no calling hours.

Muss Trogdon
RITTMAN -- Muss Trogdon, 92, formerly of Elm Street, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at the Apostolic Christian Home.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rittman Cemetery, with memorial services to follow at 1 p.m. at Church of the Savior in Wooster. The Rev. Jerry Durham will officiate.

He was born Feb. 3, 1908 in Wayne, W.Va., to Pharaoh and Cora (Noble) Trogdon and married Ruth Kelly on Sept. 30, 1933. She survives.

David Greenwald
JEROMESVILLE -- David M. Greenwald, 64, 50 Glenn St., died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, is handling arrangements.
He was born July 24, 1935 in Wooster to David and Bessie (Franks) Greenwald and married Ada DeVore on April 14, 1962. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Terry Lee and Keith Edward Greenwald, both of Jeromesville; a grandson; a brother, Kenneth Greenwald, and a sister, Anita Spencer and her husband, Willis, all of Fredericksburg.
