Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman with the Rev. Homer L. Watson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville.

She was born March 22, 1924, in Greenup County, Ky., to Alley and Jennie (Brown) Jones.
Surviving are sons, Lee (Andra) Justice of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Kenneth (Donna) Wellman of Creston, and Boyd (Shirley) and Carl (Sandy) Wellman, all of Wadsworth; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin Jones of Wadsworth; and a sister, Della Canter of Rittman.
John Haley Jr.
RITTMAN -- John L. Haley Jr., 69, 46 N. State St., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1931, in Columbus, to John L. and Mildred (Drake) Haley Sr., and married Merrill Helms on Aug. 14, 1954. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, John (Dina) Haley III of Rittman; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Pamela) Bush of Summerville, S.C.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Joeann) Huff of Mansfield.
Miriam Jeffries
SALINE, Mich. -- Miriam L. Jeffries, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at Sunrise Assisted Living, in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lakewood Christian Church, 17513 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, with the Rev. Martha Chenault officiating.

She was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Fostoria, to Elmer and Margaret (Miller) Crawford and married Charles M. Jeffries on June 29, 1933 in Cleveland. He died May 3, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, David A. Jeffries of Orrville and Richard (Natalie) Jeffries of Saline, Mich.; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Sophia Gainer
CRESTON -- Sophia F. Gainer, 91, of Creston, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her home, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Barberton. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are being handled by Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
She was born Dec. 18, 1909, in Barberton, to John and Mary (Krasovec) Gainer.
She graduated from Barberton High School and attended Akron Business College.
Surviving are a sister, Jeanette Miller of Creston and nieces and nephews.
John Butler
GALION -- John Marion Butler, 70, 1303 McClure St., died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at his home.
There will be no services, Mr. Butler donated his body to The Ohio State University Medical School.

He was born Dec. 30, 1930, in Loudonville, to John Warfield and Clara Rebecca (Bird) Butler.

CRESTON -- Mary M. Decker, 66, of Creston, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at Smithville-Western Care Center, following a lengthy illness.

LODI -- Stacey Lynn Dague, 37, of Lodi, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her home.

WICHITA, Kan. -- Richard L. "Dick" Morrison, 59, of Wichita, Kan., died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001.
Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Central Community Church.

He was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Kansas City, Mo. He married Sharon Penney on May 5, 1962 in Newton, Kan. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Laurie Jill Delling and Tiffany Valine Ryan, both of Wichita, Kan., and Leslee Estella Anne Morrison of Manhattan, Kan.; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mary Morrison of Wooster; a brother, David Morrison of Wichita, Kan. and a sister, Kathy Bauman of Wooster.

LAKEVILLE -- Kimberly K. Flinner, 38, of Lakeville, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at Cleveland Metro Hospital in Cleveland, from injuries sustained in a horseback riding accident.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Jim Platner officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.

Shawn Young
WEST LAFAYETTE -- Shawn C. Young, 40, 416 E. 4th St., died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, in the emergency room at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
Private family services will be today (Wednesday) at 2 at Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton with Pastors Kent Modlin and Jame Lillo officiating. Burial will be at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette.
He was born June 16, 1961, in Coshocton, to Roy E. and Doris (Kinney) Young and married Sue Bernhart on Nov. 12, 1988. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Chelsea Marie Young and Christina Dawn Young, both of the home; sisters, Susan (Joe) Swails of West Lafayette and Tammie Young of Coshocton; half-brothers, Ralph Young and Larry Young, both of Coshocton and Steven Mulford of Indiana; and a half-sister, Diane Hagen of Washington state.
Donald Boley
CRESTON -- Donald D. Boley, 86, of Creston, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at the Hospice Care Center in Copley, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastors Robert Moeller and Bill Berry officiating. Burial will be at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.

He was born June 6, 1915, in Creston, to Charles and Ora (Martin) Boley and married Dorothy V. Smith in 1957. She died Oct. 18, 1995.

Pastor Kenneth Baldwin
TALLMADGE -- Pastor Kenneth W. Baldwin, 66, of Tallmadge, died Oct, 13, 2001.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marjorie (Vincent); sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Stephanie and Keith and Sandra, all of Orrville; daughter, Keri Baldwin of the residence; three grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Mary) of Memphis, Tenn. and Dale (Cheryl) of Crawfordsville, Ind.; sisters, Martha Carrell and Faye (Don) Swisher; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Baldwin, all of Crawfordsville, Ind.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Warren Anderson
MINNEAPOLIS -- Warren D. Anderson, 81, Professor of Classics at The College of Wooster from 1952-1967 and a visiting scholar on several occasions in the 1970s, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, in Minneapolis.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at St. Stephen the Martyr Episcopal Church, 4439 W. 50th St., Edina, Minn.

SHREVE -- Marilyn J. Geib, 70, 380 W. McConkey St., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Akron General Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shreve United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Lawson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.

She was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Wooster to Fred V. and Vera L. (Simms) Kaufman and married Charles Geib Jr. of Shreve on Nov. 7, 1952. He survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Stephanie (Dale) Stein, Melissa Baker and Jody (Denny) Wells, all of Shreve, and Mark (Lynne) Geib of Wooster; grandchildren Sarah and Adam Stein, Brittany and Avery Baker, and Mallory and Wade Wells.
