DUNDEE -- Edith M. Langkamp, 86, of Dundee, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at Country Lawn Nursing Home in Harmon, following a period of declining health.
Services will be today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton with the Rev. Steven Sandison officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton.

She was born Nov. 5, 1914, near Wilmot, to L. Samuel and Ida (Lanzer) Langkamp.
She is survived by a nephew.

ORRVILLE -- Pearl L. Werstler Snyder, 80, of Orrville, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Canaan Lutheran Church with the Revs. Paul Thoms and Charles Ulmer officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Lutheran Church Cemetery.

She was born May 16, 1921, in North Royalton, to Frank and Edna (Dorow) Stellar. She married Herbert G. Werstler on Dec. 6, 1941. They had operated a dairy farm near Creston for 22 years. He died Oct. 2, 1978. She married Marvin Snyder on Feb. 28, 1981. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Mary and husband, Roger Gwin of Shreve, Herb and wife, Janet Werstler of Creston and Carol and husband, Ron Mole of Grafton; two stepdaughters, Carol Snyder of Canton and Marcia and husband, Gary Toth of Louisville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

LOUDONVILLE -- Robert M. Paullin, 83, 314 Hoffman Road, died Monday morning, Oct. 1, 2001, at Samaritan Regional Health System emergency room in Ashland, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Terry E. Ruther officiating. Burial with military services conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville where Masonic services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m.

MASSILLON -- Velma D. Welch, 56, of Massillon, died Saturday evening, Sept. 29, 2001, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, following a lengthy illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon with the Rev. Don Deremer officiating. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery.

Barbara Donaldson
MANSFIELD -- Barbara C. Chase Donaldson, 79, 528 State Route 314 S., and formerly of Wayne County, died Sunday morning, Sept. 30, 2001, at home, following an extended illness.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.

She was born Aug. 12, 1922, in Hinsdale, Ill., to Leon P. and Marie (Bollinger) Chase.

WOOSTER -- Michael T. Sczpanski, 53, 2467 Townsend Drive, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 29, 2001, at his home.

Clara Holmes
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -- Clara F. Holmes, 72, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at her home.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rittman Cemetery. Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling arrangements.
She was born March 1, 1929, in Rittman to Michael and Mary (Prentovich) Serjack.
Surviving are children, Cyndi Wood, Michael and J.T. Holmes, all of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; a grandson, Kyle; and a sister Agnes (Andrew) Goldun of North Royalton.
Her husband of 30 years, James T. Holmes, died in 1966.
Dora Purdy
MOUNT VERNON -- Dora Louise (Gray) Purdy, 75, of Mount Vernon died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after an extended illness.
She had been a teacher at Killbuck High School.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Gay Street United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon with the Rev. Dr. David Baker officiating.

She was born July 26, 1918, in Bethlehem Township, Stark County, to Maurice E. and Nettie Viola (Umstead) Gerber and married Walter L. Gallion on Dec. 22, 1936. He died Feb. 25, 1994.

MILLERSBURG -- Lyle Teeling, 94, of Millersburg, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2001, at Sunset View Nursing Home in Millersburg, after an extended illness.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Killbuck Cemetery, with the Rev. Gerald Craycraft officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling arrangements.
He was born Oct. 6, 1906, in Layland, Coshocton County, to Edison E. and Clemma A. (Engle) Teeling and married Pearl Phillips. She died in March 1970. On Sept. 30, 1976, he married Beulah Middaugh. She died May 12, 2001.
Surviving are children, Roma Reed of Killbuck and Denver (Lucy) Teeling of Walhonding; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Alisha Brokaw-Scott
COSHOCTON -- Alisha R. Brokaw-Scott, 29, 545 Cambridge Road, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001.

WOOSTER -- Anthony J. Latona, 98, 834 W. Liberty St., died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 29, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 4, 1902, in Pittsburgh, to Peter and Mary Grace (Polizzi) Latona and married Alsie J. Lee on June 19, 1924. She died in 1993.
Surviving are children Marjorie Baker of Wooster and Anthony J. Latona Jr. of Manchester; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

MILLERSBURG -- Sarah Miller, 94, a resident of Sunset View Nursing Home in Millersburg, formerly of Berlin, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at the nursing home.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Aden Chupp residence, 5603 N. Market St., Berlin, with Bishop Vernon Burkholder officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Holmes County.

She was born April 6, 1907, in Holmes County to Abraham and Clara (Yoder) Bontrager and married William N. Miller on Dec. 22, 1927. He died Sept. 17, 1988.
Surviving are children Katie (Alvin) Hershberger of Millersburg and Raymond (Linda) Miller of Beach City; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
