ORRVILLE -- David R. Gross, 81, 1824 Meadow Lane, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at his residence, after a 5-week illness.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Manor Hill Cemetery near Huntingdon, Pa., with Pastor Joleen Willis officiating.
Local calling hours will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Orrville Public Library, 230 N. Main St., Orrville 44667; or to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born April 7, 1920, in Huntingdon, Pa., to Ira C. and Kathryn (Figard) Gross and married Jane Warfel on April 23, 1943, in Huntingdon, Pa. She survives.
Other survivors include children, John Christian (Carolyn) Gross of Ceres, Va., and Catharine (Matthew) Musho and grandchildren, Timothy Matthew, Terence David and Trent Ira Musho, all of Granger, Ind.

Jefferson Ringler Jr.
MILLERSBURG -- Jefferson Davis Ringler Jr., infant son of Jefferson Davis and Bonnie (Summers) Ringler, of Millersburg, was stillborn Thursday morning, July 19, 2001, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor David Bowles officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Catline of the home; paternal grandparents, Phillip Dean Ringler and Angelena Yoder and maternal grandparents, Cary "Tubby" and Betty Summers, all of Millersburg, paternal great-grandfather, Harry Ringler of Jeromesville; and several aunts and uncles.

Billy Vincent
HOLMESVILLE -- Billy Dean Vincent, 73, 8200 County Road 189, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, from cancer at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holmesville United Methodist Church, with Randy Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Township Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-9 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
The family suggests contributions be made to Holmesville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 37, Holmesville; or to Prairie Township Friends of the Library, in care of Jan Lemon, P.O. Box 136, Holmesville 44633.
He was born May 7, 1928, to George Walter and Helen Ruth (Lowe) Vincent and married Frances Joanne Bucher on July 22, 1951. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Jeff (Judy) Vincent of Smithville; grandchildren, Jay and Jordan Vincent, both of Wooster, Stephanie Karlen of Tiffin and Chad (Adrienne) Karlen of Smithville; a great-grandchild, Alexis; and sisters, Doris Fitzpatric of Holmesville and Marjorie (Kenneth) Baldwin of Tallmadge.

Roberta Richardson
WOOSTER -- Roberta E. Richardson, 42, 605 Spruce St., died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery, with the Rev. Donald Kuntz officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
She was born Nov. 21, 1958, in Wadsworth, to Robert and Eula (Vaughan) Richmond.
Surviving are a son, Shawn of the home; a brother, Ed Vaughan of Congress; a sister, Nina Radacovich of Florida; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a friend, Leslie Mathews, with whom she had made her home.

Lena Collins
BURBANK -- Lena Collins, 89, 1961 W. Sterling Road, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at her home after a period of declining health.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at James Funeral Home in Logan, W.Va., where friends may call Saturday from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be at Collins Cemetery in Logan, W.Va.
Local calling hours will be tonight (Friday) from 6-9 at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
She was born May 19, 1912, in Logan, W.Va., to William and Inez (Dempsey) Workman and married Roy Collins. He died July 9, 1968.
Surviving are children, Donna (Jesse) Tackett and Rex (Judy) Collins, both of Burbank, Ernest (Irene) Collins of Cleveland and Fred Collins of Logan, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Della Dalton of Lorain.

Harold Kaser
CARROLLTON, Ga. -- Harold Delano "Pete" Kaser, 67, 849 Frashier Road, Carrollton, Ga., formerly of Millersburg, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001.
Cremation has taken place. Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ga. handled arrangements.
He was a native of Millersburg, born to John and Twila (Ralston) Kaser and married Carol Weirick. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, John C. (Betty) Kaser of Carrollton, Ga.; a step-daughter, Cynthia Whittemire of Loudonville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Iona Drouhard of Dalton, Donna Smith of Millersburg and Shirley (Edward) Zollinger of Salem.

F. Richard Young
WEST SALEM -- F. Richard Young, 76, of West Salem, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, from declining health.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, with Pastor Robert Holmes officiating. Burial will be at Congress Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Wayne County Branch, 1740 Cleveland Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Aug. 10, 1924, in Chester Township, Wayne County, to Charles and Fay (Warner) Young and married Marilyn Wachtel on Oct. 4, 1947. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Larry Young of West Salem and David (Robin) Young of Cape Coral, Fla.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Young of Wooster.

Kenneth Martin
SHREVE -- Kenneth "Bill" Martin, 69, 5491 Centerville Road, went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, July 19, 2001, after a brief illness at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Ripley Church of Christ, with Jim Platner officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, where military rites will be conducted.
Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve.
The family suggests contributions be made to Shreve Emergency Squad, 150 W. McConkey St., Shreve 44676.
He was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Holmesville, to Louis and Irene (Wittise) Martin and married Evelyn VanSickle on Feb. 6, 1953. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Kenny (Gina) Martin of Lakeville and James (Amy) Martin of Shreve; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tyler and Benny Martin; a brother, Marion (Noreen) Martin of Killbuck; and sisters, Norma (Earl) Shinabarker, Dorothy (William) Turner and Ruth Ann Dininger, all of Glenmont, Bonnie (Marion "Tink") Martin and Barbara (Ronald) Chanay, both of Millersburg and Wilma (Nicholas) Cannoe of Interlachen, Fla.

Mary Rausch
ORRVILLE -- Mary A. Rausch, 95, formerly of West Market Street, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Smithville Western Care Center, Wooster, after a long illness.
Graveside services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, with the Rev. John R. Long officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 140 W. Water St., Orrville 44667; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born Oct. 27, 1905, in Orrville, to Sylvester and Sarah (Stees) Minks and married Earl R. Rausch on June 12, 1949. He died May 20, 1961.
Surviving are cousins.
In addition to her husband, brothers, Clarence and Michael Minks, died previously.

Jack McCallum
DOYLESTOWN -- Jack H. McCallum, 77, of Doylestown, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at North Chicago Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, where military rites will be conducted. The Rev. Glenn Royer will officiate.
There will be no calling hours. Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
He was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Canisteo, N.Y., to Norman and Edith (Hartnett) McCallum.
Surviving are a brother, Robert (Virginia) McCallum of Doylestown; nephews, Bruce (Marcia) McCallum and Eric (Robin) McCallum; nieces, Jill McCallum, Gay (Frank) Russell and Lisa (Greg) Smith; a step-nephew, Greg (Donna) Bloomfield; a step-niece, Mary Beth Anderson; and several great-nieces and nephews.

William Boulware
SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. -- William Tevis Boulware, 2434 New Haven Circle, Sun City Center, Fla. 33573, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in Wooster.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 21, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithville. Burial of the cremains will be at Apple Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take off work and spend the day with a loved one, or memorial contributions may be made to support the work of the "earthly angels" at Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
William was born Sept. 10, 1917, to Junius and Gabby Lee Boulware in Davis County, Ky.
William will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Helen Louise Boulware of Sun City Center, Fla., whom he married on May 5, 1944; children, Richard (Deborah) Boulware of Elkin, N.C., Lynne (Jim) Buss of Wooster, Gary (Diane) Boulware of Beavercreek, Ohio and Jay McCormick of Owensboro, Ky.; as well as nieces and nephews of Owensboro, Ky.
Most of all he will be missed by his grandchildren, Brian, Jana, Erynn, Benjamin, Daniel, Naomi, Anna, Sonja and Eric.

Kathleen Kennell
LOWPOINT, Ill. -- Kathleen (Eberly) Kennell, 50, of Lowpoint, Ill., formerly of Mount Eaton, died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Peoria, Ill.
Services were held at Metamora Mennonite Church, Metamora, Ill. Burial was at Stewart Harmony Cemetery, Metamora, Ill.
She was born June 25, 1951 in Wooster, to Dr. Wain B. and Viola Eberly and married Keith Kennell. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Derrek and Andrea, both of the home; her parents of Mount Eaton; sisters, Judy (Andy) Miller of Dalton, Elaine (Lester) Grove of Littletown, Pa., and Lauretta (Geoff) Yoder of Houston; a brother, Jim (Andrea) Eberly of Guam; and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel Dews
EAST CANTON -- Daniel Dews, 71, of East Canton, died Monday evening, July 16, 2001, at his home after an extended illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Longenecker Mennonite Church in Winesburg, with the Revs. Glenn Coblentz and Dennis Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the church, or one hour prior to the services. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Longenecker Mennonite Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 112, Winesburg 44690.
He was born March 20, 1930, in Massillon, to Thomas and Ruby (Yoder) Dews and married Lydia M. Kuhns on Dec. 24, 1950. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Susie Martin of Malvern, Martha Squire of Louisville, Ruth Dews of the home, Mrs. John (April) Blackburn of Minerva, Steve (Dena) Dews of Smyrna, Ga., and Bill T. (Cindy) Dews of East Canton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Erdine) Johnson of Tallmadge; and brothers, Martin Dews of California, Wayne Dews of Massillon and William Dews of East Canton.

Helene Trump
WOOSTER -- Wooster resident, Helene D. Trump, died in Oberlin, Ohio, at the Kendal at Oberlin retirement community on Friday, July 13, 2001.
She was born on Dec. 24,1935, in Cleveland.
She is survived by her husband; her nieces, Judith Seal of Indian Wells, Calif., and Iris Spellings of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a nephew, Dr. Thomas Trump, M.D.; brothers-in-law, John Trump and his wife, Naomi and Ralph Meyer of Fort Wayne, Ind.
A private family memorial service will take place later in August.

OBERLIN -- Memorial services for Thalia Gouma Peterson, professor emerita of art at The College of Wooster, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Church in Oberlin.

Sarah Nolletti
WOOSTER -- Sarah Anne Elizabeth Nolletti, infant daughter of Richard and Violet (Blake) Nolletti of Wooster, died at birth Sunday, July 15, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Private family services will be held with burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster.
The family would appreciate expressions of cards and letters.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Veronica and brothers, Eric and Michael; paternal grandfather, Arthur Nolletti of Wooster and recently deceased grandmother, Vera Nolletti; maternal grandparents, Ed and Jane Blake of Shreve; and maternal great-grandmother, Dixie Palmer of Congress.

John Kime
ASHLAND -- John Matthew Kime, 36, 4145 Faulk Road, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at his home. His death was unexpected, however he had been in declining health.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home, 168 W. Main St., Shelby, with the Dr. Ed Wishert, a friend of the family, officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services Saturday.
Memorial expressions may be made to Ashland Theological Seminary and left in care of the funeral home.
John was born Oct. 7, 1964, in Lansing, Mich.
Surviving are his parents, Dr. Walter and Karen (Frank) Kime of Ashland; brothers, Mark Kime of Cuyahoga Falls, David (Kathleen Quinn) Kime of Highland Heights, Ky., and Adam Kime of Ashland; maternal grandmother, Thelma (Yohn) Frank of Shelby; and aunts and uncles, Cheryl Reed, Rick (Joann) Frank and Roger Frank, all of Shelby, Lois (Gerald) Smith of Delaware and Marie (Jay) Nelson of Moses Lake, Wash.

Anne Stirba
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Anne M. Stirba, devoted wife and loving mother, died Saturday, July 14, 2001.
Anne was born July 12, 1951, in Orrville.
She is survived by husband Peter, daughters Emily Anne and Melissa Grace, mother Grace M. Morr and brother Thomas G. Morr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Wellness House, 59 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City.
A memorial service will be held at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City, on Thursday, July 19, 2001 at noon, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

LIMA -- Sarah Ellen Smith, 85, of Lima, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at the home of her son in Dalton.
She was the mother of Ronald Orlie (Florence) Smith of Dalton.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel in Lima, with Walda Werking and the Rev. Harry Neuenschwander officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 5-9 at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was born Feb. 15, 1916, in New Madison, to Orlie R. and Jessie Irene (Burns) Spencer and married Joseph Smith on Jan. 29, 1936. He died March 23, 1990.
Other survivors include children, Charles LeRoy Smith of Columbus, Robert Joseph Smith of Urbana, Alan (Becky) Dock of New Breman, Lucille Noreen Wheeler of Dovie, Fla., Joy Ann (John) Dennis of Lima and Gloria Delores (Willis) Hostetler of Sarasota, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren (Luella) Spencer of Defiance, Milton (Phyllis) Spencer and John Spencer, both of Greenville; and a sister, Viola Divens (Paul) Jones of Greenville.
