SEVILLE -- Blanche L. Dempsey, 89, of Seville, died Wednesday morning, July 11, 2001, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Seville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Seville.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at Seville Presbyterian Church and one hour before services at the church.

She was born on May 24, 1912, in Wooster, to Walter and Eva (Bell) Snyder and married Glenn W. Dempsey. He died March 1, 1995.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Antal of Seville; granddaughters, Dina (Jim) Bozigar and Tara Antal; and a sister, Betty Myers of Roundup, Mont.

STERLING -- Harold V. Stoller, 68, 8372 Blough Road, died Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Smithville Apostolic Christian Church with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home, Rittman, and one hour prior services at the church on Saturday.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1932, in Orrville, to Carl and Mary (Hartzler) Stoller and married Luella Riggenbach on April 10, 1960. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Doug and Art Stoller of the home, and Tom (Gretchen) Stoller of Sterling; brothers, Everett (Marjorie) Stoller, and Dale (Jeanette) Stoller of Sterling, Robert (Eileen) Stoller, Andrew (Roberta) Stoller, and Fredrick (Joyce) Stoller, all of Orrville; sisters, Lucille Gasser of Rittman, Carolyn Stoller and Elma Stoller, both of Orrville.

WOOSTER -- Rev. Leroy Adams, 77, 4476 Hunters Chase Lane, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at his home.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Wooster United Methodist Church. Entombment will be in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

WOOSTER -- Deloris Long, 84, 2227 Blachleyville Road, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Horn Nursing Center in Wooster.
Services will be (today) Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
She was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Big Run, W.Va., to James and Mary (King) Davis. She married Robert Long on June 19, 1979. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Jerry Rice of Shreve, Raymond Rice of Pine Grove, W.Va., Ronnie Rice of Fairborn, James Rice of Millersburg, Sunny Rice of Wooster, Robert Rice of East Liverpool and Janet Hurst of Lisbon; stepsons, Robert Long Jr. of Mansfield and Tony Long of Millersburg; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a half-brother and sister, Charles Davis and Martha Hunt, both of East Liverpool.

LOUDONVILLE -- Helen Y. "Shorty" Boyer, 80, 2160 Township Road 585, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Kingston of Ashland.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Beryl Baum officiating. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.

She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Belmont County, to Arthur and Elva (Brown) Love and married Paul R. Boyer. He died March 13, 1981.

HESSTON, Kan. -- Betty Jane Ediger, 79, of Hesston, Kan., died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Newton Medical Center in Newton, Kan.
She was the mother of Darrell Ediger of Dalton.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church, Inman, Kan., with Pastor Dean Linsemeyer officiating. Burial will be at Hoffnungsau Cemetery in Inman, Kan.

She was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Inman, Kan., to George and Mary (Pauls) Regehr and married Sam Ediger on Sept. 12, 1943 in McPherson, Kan. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband and son of Dalton, are a daughter, Bette Jo Lehrman of Newton, Kan.; sons, Bruce Ediger of Hesston, Kan. and David W. Ediger of Newton, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Curt, Art and Arnold Regehr, all of Inman, Kan. and a sister, Sara Thiessen of Inman, Kan.
Charles Kaufman
ORRVILLE -- Charles V. Kaufman, 79, 853 S. Main St., died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, following a long period of declining health.
Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 11, at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with Pastor Walter Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, where military rites will be held.
Friends may call from 10 a.m.-noon prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1921, in Gary, Ind., to Edward and Iva Grace (Pricket) Kaufman and married Marceil Ruth Link on March 10, 1950, at the Methodist Church in Orrville. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Randy L. Kaufman and his companion, Ramona LaPoint of Toledo, four daughters, Diana Pavelko and her fiance, Ray Eaton of Lodi, Deborah L. Kaufman of Houston, Texas, Pam (John) Walentik of Orrville, and Tina (Joe) Weber of Clinton; a brother Vannel (Shirley) Kaufman of Clinton; 12 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

ORRVILLE -- Elizabeth A. Allen, 74, 420 E. Water St., died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Saturday at noon at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Ernest Powell Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville on Monday, July 16.

She was born on Sept. 7, 1926, in Beckley, W.Va., to Jason and Estella (Hill) Allen.

She was born in Almon Township, Wis.

WOOSTER -- Helen I. Phinney, 90, 234 Mulberry St., died Friday, July 6, 2001, at Akron City Hospital, after a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Melvin Browning officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.

She was born June 6, 1911, in Fredericksburg to Grover and Martha G. (Ross) Shook and married Fred H. Phinney. He died previously.

RITTMAN -- Ethel P. Kimes, 73, 139 N. Second St., died Thursday evening, July 5, 2001, at Akron General Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Doylestown, with the Rev. Father David J. McCarthy officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in Rittman Cemetery at a later date.

UNIONTOWN -- Elizabeth D. "Betsy" Flynn, 58, of Uniontown, formerly of Rittman, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nev.
