Mildred Maiwurm
WOOSTER -- Mildred M. Maiwurm, 81, 1725 Barbara Drive, died Sunday afternoon, June 10, 2001, at her residence, following a long illness.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at First Church of God, Wooster, (Akron Road) with Pastor Ken Thomas officiating and the family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the services.
Cremation has taken place and a private interment of the cremains will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Maiwurm was born Aug. 25, 1919 in Nashville (Holmes County), to Charles and Ada (Willard) Yenne. She married Vincent P. Maiwurm on October 1, 1939, in Nashville. He died Feb. 25, 1987.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward K. and Nancy Maiwurm of Wooster; a daughter, Mrs. Duane E. (Meredith Mary) Hart of Wooster; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Jerry Pratt
WOOSTER -- Jerry L. Pratt, 72, formerly of Timberlane Drive, died Sunday evening, June 10, 2001, at Heritage Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., to Lee and Daisy (Hochstetler) Pratt and married Beverly Hoodak. She died Sept. 30, 1996.
Surviving are children, Jerry L. and Daveeda Pratt Jr. of Wooster and Jeffrey J. Pratt of Bellville; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Pratt of Shreve; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kenneth Scheck II officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 4 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

(Ronda) Leitch of Wooster and Gregory (Wendy) Leitch of Reynoldsburg; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Forest E. (Lillie) Weiser of West Salem, William O. (Evelyn) Weiser of Burbank, Clifford (Joyce) Weiser of Lebanon, Tenn. and Richard Weiser of Wooster and a sister, Jeanette (Gary) Neuhaus of Yuma, Colo.
Moses Hostetler
TRAIL -- Moses J. Hostetler, 93, of Trail, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with the Revs. Ross Miller and Matt Hamsher officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church and Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

He was born Oct. 17, 1907, in Holmes County, to John and Mattie (Mast) Hostetler.
Surviving are his wife, Crystal Mae Keehn Bendure Hostetler, whom he married Feb. 2, 1963; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (June) Butler of Massillon, Mrs. Daryl (Joan) Badertscher of Dover; stepson, Robert Bendure of Canton; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Leighley of Canton, Mrs. Glenn (Beverly) Mears of Canton and Mrs. David (Barbara) Miller of Massillon; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Verba (Weaver) Hostetler and his second wife, Ethel (Engle) Hostetler, died previously.
Marilyn LeMar
CRESTON -- Marilyn F. LeMar, 69, of Creston, died Monday, June 11, 2001, at Akron General Medical Center.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Kristin McKinley officiating.

Helen McFarren
DALTON -- Helen M. McFarren, 74, 625 S. Eckard Road, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at her residence following a short illness.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Dalton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael McHale officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place.

She was born March 14, 1927, in Louisville, to Seraphin and Frances (Merreot) Myers and married Robert O. McFarren in 1949. He died June 2, 1991.

Dan Lange
LODI -- Dan A. Lange, 52, of Lodi, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, in Clinton, Okla.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where military and committal services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m.

He was born April 6, 1949, in Strongsville, to William and Wilma (Richards) Lange. He married Barbara Blank on July 3, 1987. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, William L. "Buddy" Lange of Chicago; his mother of North Port Ritchey, Fla.; a sister, Cheryle (Jerry) Belt of Millersport and several nieces and nephews.

MEDINA -- Kenneth H. Albrecht, 68, of Lafayette Township, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Akron General Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Acme.

He was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Cleveland, to Peter and Jeannette Albrecht.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary (Hagans) Albrecht; daughters, Debbie (John) Lanzer of Medina, Mary Lynn (Len) Masek of Westerville, Sharon (Eric) Chester of Medina; a son, Mark (Layla Hemsoth) Albrecht of Medina; seven grandchildren; a brother, Sherwood (Sherry) Albrecht of Medina; and many additional family members and friends.
Charles Liggett Jr.
MADERA, Calif. -- Charles "Chuck" Liggett Jr. of Madera, Calif., died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, following a long battle with cancer.
He was born March 12, 1937, in Nashville, to Charles and Myrta Liggett.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Nancy; a daughter, Tammye and son-in-law, Larry Cox, and two grandchildren.
Service and burial was held in Clovis, Calif. on June 9.
Kathryn Culp

Robert Garver Jr.
WEST SALEM -- Robert E. Garver Jr., 66, of West Salem, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Cleveland Clinic.
Services will be Monday, June 18, at 1 p.m. at Truth Baptist Church in West Salem, with Pastor Raymond Miller officiating. Burial will be at Congress Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by James Stevenson Post 499 of the American Legion in West Salem.

KILLBUCK -- Mary L. Chanay, 84, of Killbuck, died Sunday morning, June 10, 2001, at Sunset View Skilled Nursing Home, Millersburg, after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Jim Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery.

Surviving are children, Forrest (Marsha) Chanay and Marilyn (Welker) Jones, both of Killbuck and Bonnie (Don) Atha of Sarasota, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandson; a sister, Geraldine (Ed) Derringer of Coshocton; and a brother, Leo (Ruby) Mizer of Wooster.
Delmar Young
LOUDONVILLE -- Delmar F. Young, 74, 1020 E. Main St., died Saturday evening, June 9, 2001, at his home after a 7 1/2 year illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Howard Horton officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.

James Purvis Jr.
MANSFIELD -- James Purvis Jr., 59, of Mansfield, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home, following a short illness.
Private graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron with full military honors.
Arrangements are being handled by Werner Funeral Services in Mansfield.

He was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Barberton, to James and Olive (Forringer) Purvis Sr.
