NAVARRE -- Iris C. Specht, 73, of Navarre, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Massillon Community Hospital, after a short illness.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home in Navarre, with the Rev. Roger K. Kurzen officiating. Burial will be at Stanwood Cemetery near Dalton.

She was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Wadsworth to Ivan C. and Mildred V. (McKean) Stutzman and married Ramon D. Specht. He died in 1976.
Surviving are children, Paula E. Ramsey of Navarre, Lorri A. Specht of Wilmot, Ronald L. and David R. Specht, both of Massillon; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret "Peg" Hunt of Navarre and Judy Gindlesberger of Dalton; and brothers, Gary L. Stutzman of Dalton and James D. Stutzman of Navarre.

RITTMAN -- James D. Starling, 71, 12091 Steiner Road, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Phillip Dague officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.

He was born Feb. 20, 1930, in West Virginia to Milard Newton and Rose Ellen (Cumberland) Starling and married Dixie D. Miller on Sept. 3, 1958. She survives.

ASHLAND -- Verna Mae Swain, 76, 1515 Center Lane Drive, died Wednesday evening, March 28, 2001, at her home.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas C. Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Jeromesville Cemetery.

SHREVE -- Agnes Allen, 79, 380 W. Liberty St., formerly of Chincoteaque, Va., died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Regency Park in Orrville.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Chincoteaque, Va. Burial will be in Mechanics-Daisey Cemetery.

She was born July 1, 1921, in Chincoteaque, Va., to Henry C. and Julia (Sherives) White.

John Sterett
HARDINSBURG, Ky. -- John Hardin Sterett, 86, of Hardinsburg, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.
He was the brother of Mabel Pinnick of Apple Creek.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, at Custer United Methodist Church, Custer, Ky. Burial was at Custer Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, Ky.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Lillian M. Rang, 93, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Shreve, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001.

She was born June 12, 1914, in Millersburg, to Beecher and Pearl (Bergoon) Bucklew and married Beryl Chaney on Oct. 15, 1940. She survives.

Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the Andy R. Miller residence, Millersburg, with minister Ivan U. Yoder officiating. Burial will be at Raber Cemetery, Berlin Township, Holmes County.

She was born June 28, 1901, in Wheeling, W.Va., to Charles and Jennie (Hausman) Kraft and married Vernon W. Rehm in 1920. He died in 1977.

She was born Aug. 17, 1934, in Reading, England, to Harold and Irene Giles. She married Harold Crill Jr. of Orrville, in 1953, while he was stationed in the service in Oxford, England.
