MILLERSBURG -- Lizzie Ann Yoder, 88, 5134 Township Road 618, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at her home after an extended illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Roy Mast officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County.

She was born May 23, 1912, in Holmes County to Reuben R. and Clara (Troyer) Yoder.
Surviving are a brother, Dan R. (Marilyn) Yoder of Sugarcreek; and sisters Verna Bowman of the home and Mary Erb of Mount Eaton.
Floyd Miller
NORTON -- Floyd P.W. Miller, 82, passed away Friday, March 16, 2001.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 770 E. Paige Ave., Barberton, with the Rev. James Caskey officiating.

MARSHALLVILLE -- Wayne L. Hartzler, 70, 16 W. Church St., died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Glendora Health Care Center, after a lingering illness.

He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Smithville, to Paul and Esther (Corns) Hartzler and married Marilyn Zimmerman on Dec. 30, 1967 in Orrville. She survives.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Howard A. Grenert, 93, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Apple Creek, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001.

He was born July 17, 1907, in Butler, Pa., and moved to Sarasota two years ago from Englewood, Fla.
Surviving are sons, Norman D. Grenert of Sarasota, Fla., Donald A. and Jerry H. Grenert, both of Wooster; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

NORTON -- Reno Max "Shad" Shadley, 79, of Norton, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Pleasant View Health Center in Barberton.
He was the brother of Nona Hanna of Creston.

He was born Oct. 31, 1921, in Alger to Clarence and Alta (Cale) Shadley and was married to Betty Shadley. She died in 1987.

Martha Myers
Washington, D.C. -- Martha Orahood Myers, 70, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Wooster, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at George Washington University Hospital, from leukemia.
Surviving are daughters, Emily Myers of Washington, D.C., and Katherine Myers of Williamstown, Mass.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Mellon of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Her husband of 42 years, Will S. Myers, died in September 2000.
Carol Gossie
SARASOTA, Fla. -- Carol J. Gossie, 75, 5935 Tidewood Ave., Sarasota, Fla. 34231, died at her home Sunday, March 11, 2001, from complications with lung cancer.
She was born May 18, 1925, in Newark, to William and Mary (Herrold) Lyle.
Surviving are her husband; daughters and their families, Ann and Dave, Laura and Lisa McPeek of Orrville and Beth, Kevin and Braeden Wood of Brookfield, Wis.; her sister, Jean Williams of Northfield, Minn.; and nieces, nephews and their families.
Services will be Thursday, March 15, at Baywood Colony, Sarasota, Fla. Interment will be at Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon at a later date.

She was born Nov. 9, 1920, in Wooster, to Harry B.L. and Vida E. (Mackey) Schuch Sr. and married Herbert V. King on Sept. 2, 1937 in Covington, Ky. He went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 12, 1973.

STERLING -- Sally A. (O'Brien) Slate, 45, 7675 Sterling Road, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at her residence after a two-year illness.

She was born Nov. 6, 1955, in Wadsworth, to John W. and Frances E. (Cline) O'Brien Sr.
Surviving are her husband, Michael R. Slate, whom she married Aug. 12, 2000, in Sterling; brothers, John (Sandy) O'Brien Jr. of Wooster and Charles "Chuck" (Jeanne) O'Brien of Creston; and four nephews and five nieces.
